@kawaiiponyo depends on what you qualify as hard. if you have a strong seat and strong flat work then jumping is really just a big canter stride. personally, i dont think this girl should be jumping this high, if at all. she needs a much stronger seat and leg and be much softer on the horses mouth.

I agree with you, lots of people i know show for he ribbons, and they work there horses so hard that one guy i knpw had to put his horse down at 11 because of an injury in his horses knee and he didnt give it time to heel , if she was working her horse crazy i would have made fun of her and done this too:)

I've been to clinics with one of the best jumping trainers in the world, George Morris, and i can guarantee he would say the same things. To jerk on a horses mouth like that is abosoulutely painful to the horse. If the horse could express his opinons i think he also would also agree that she shouldnt b jumping that high

Her reins are too long.. she has no grip and no contact with the horse what so ever. Her heels need to go down, her shoulders need to go back and her eyes need to go up. Then she might have stayed on.

i ride at an arab barn, so i live and breathe arabs. that last jump he like leaped =] i rode an arab yesterday that s saddleseat and i was helping train him to jump. i walked him over a crossrail and he positively LEAPED into the air. it was fun though
im sorry, but she needs to go back to basics, i ride arabs, so dont tell me i know nothing, she slows the horse down, losing his striding and all the impulsion and rhythm needed to get over the fence, then thumps the horse just before to get a good jump, riding like that she wont jump much higher, and im sorry, but she is a rubbish rider how she came off, maybe she should get to grips with her leg muscles and seat before she decides to jump.

I have an arab that i jump and i know how night and day different they can be one day to the next and that makes lots of them hard to jump, everybody has off days sometimes! And that fall probably hurt! So don't laugh!

Wow. Thats pretty rude. Not only do you need her permission to video tape her, you ALSO PUT IT ON YOUTUBE??!! Why, so you and you're friends could just laugh at her?? I'm sure none of you have had off days. Falling off is bad enough, never mind falling off at a show! Arab shows have crazy entry fees, and I'm sure she worked hard to get there.

@GoByImpluse Ok, first off, just because you have money DOES NOT mean you are a good rider. I know too many people who have all the money in the world, their parents buy them push-button horses, and they simply enjoy the ride. Put them on a horse thats not a robot and they can't stay on for anything.
im not saying this girl is at all. because her horse took the jump and she still somehow fell off.. and this video isn't to "laugh" at her. Who doesn't like falls and laughing at their own?

i ride at an arab barn, so i live and breathe arabs. that last jump he like leaped =] i rode an arab yesterday that s saddleseat and i was helping train him to jump. i walked him over a crossrail and he positively LEAPED into the air. it was fun though

im sorry, but she needs to go back to basics, i ride arabs, so dont tell me i know nothing, she slows the horse down, losing his striding and all the impulsion and rhythm needed to get over the fence, then thumps the horse just before to get a good jump, riding like that she wont jump much higher, and im sorry, but she is a rubbish rider how she came off, maybe she should get to grips with her leg muscles and seat before she decides to jump.

i dont think shes a bad rider, my arab has done that a couple of times and it threw me, it's a very sudden quick movement that throws you forward. i got a concussion from the last time it happened hahahahaha i feel her pain!
