  • i stopped using oils becuase i buy rawlings gloves now and there alot more broken in than most other gloves....i normally throw than hit it with a hammer than throw again(i do this the day i get it) than i let it sit the night

  • i put mine under my mattress

  • expertvillage sucks

  • this guy is actually retarded... :15; :24 wat a retard

  • this guy is actually retarded... :15....wow....:24.....wat a retard

  • are you supposed to catch the ball on the baskett webb? or a little below it??

  • @arrierin1 where the web meets the palm

  • I put my glove in the oven and it loosens it soo much.

  • im getting a new glove sonbut dont know if i should flare it when i break it in or round it like his glove looks?

    any suggestions??

  • man i f'ed up my glove, theres like this wrinkle in the glove. can anyone help?

  • @thebigmac54 you needd to make sure you use a good leather softner some have oils and make ure glove heavier and attrck dirt

  • what about turning the glove inside outt??? some people say its good others bad?

  • @fmfboy9153 do not!

  • just play catch it takes a little longer but it is the best way. oh and i am going to buy a new glove soon any ideas on which are the best for around 50 - 100 bucks, preferably a pitchers glove

  • @TheKmk666 i would go for a rawling glove i personally love them i just got a new one for 110 all leather its feels great, just if you are going to be pitching or playing middle infeild go with a 11/12 to 12 1/2 glove becuase you get the ball out quiker and it makes it alot easier trust me, also when breaking in a glove different positons take different ways to break in a glove thay wit hthe middle infeild as a pitcher when it comes to gloves

  • @TheKmk666 it isnot the glovethat makes theplayer. it is the player that makes the glove. you don't have to go out and buy an expensive glove. but for a brand, i suggest rawlings or mizuno. but if you do want a expenisve glove, buy a nakona.

  • try to avoid using oil. it makes your glove heavier and makes the leather weaker. just have a catch to break it in. it takes time, but its best for your glove!

  • this guy dont no wat hes talking about.any ways i got a new glove its a infielders glove and im scared to play catch with it cause i dont want a wrinkle in the pocket ant tips?

  • this sucks

  • wow all u do is get in front of the machine and catch balls from it for about 30 minutes

  • @13517wrangler1 some machines dont use the right size balls and you have to make sure your catching it in the right spot or ure just hurting ure glove and making it useless

  • i got a new mitt 3 days ago. i picked up some glove oil at the store, yesterday, i plyed ball wth my friends for 4 or 5 good hours. i applied oil on it last night, specifically around rhe pocket and area where it closes. the new season starts in 2 weeks... do you think that ill have it broken in in time if i play for AN hour a day? apply oil once or twice a week?

  • i just got a rawling, sandlot glove. 13 inch. i went to thestore and got some rawling glovolium (glove oil) and put it on. yesterday i played with my buddies all day long and at night applied the oil. im going to do this weekly as well as play with my glove for a few hours a day. my baseball season starts in 2 weeks. do you think that itll be broken in in time?

  • i was going to suggest that you fold it in half and let the car sit on it overnight. then keep flexing the heel of the glove so it opens and closes easily. then store it with a ball in the pocket when not in use.

  • A faster, easier break-in is to use Tanners Heat Treat. Watch the YouTube how-to video for Tanners Heat Treat.

  • Oil is a sales gimmick. Water and shaving cream works much better. Do this:

    1. Put two baseballs or one softball deep in the pocket of the glove and tie it up tight.

    2. Soak in water for five minutes.

    3. Hang it up and let it dry out over night.

    4. Untie it and apply shaving cream all over it.

    5. Go play catch.

  • 1 way is to leave it in the sun

  • lol i know how to break in a glove!one of my friends wuz on mine

  • hey where can i get one in trinidad?

  • this sucks

  • what i do when i get a new glove is put conditioner on it. let it dry overnight then pop in a movie and throw the ball into my glove the entire movie. yes the entire movie usually around 2 hours is what i do. then at night i put two baseballs in it and wrap it up with a bandana and stick it under my matress the next day i repeat the movie thing or watch videos on youtube for over an hour and put it under my matress with baseballs wen i go to bed and the next day the glove is really loose.

  • if you bake it the strings will weaken

  • they should just slap this guy up side the head a bunch of times. that will loosen up the glove.

  • dont just put a ball in it and throw it under your bed play catch with it and oil it

  • what do u then?..

  • is putting a ball in it and sitting on it or put it under ur matress good???? someone plz answer

  • no its not good it can rip it sometimes like it did to me

  • it's fine

just dont run it over w/ a car

  • try putting glove oil on it first, let it sit for a while. after that try putting an oversized ball in it (about the size of a softball), then u can put the glove under a mattress but with the ball still in it. take it out after a while and go play catch for a while.

  • nakonas are the way to go fools

  • Nokona*

  • I love this guy.

  • bake ur glove it works best for me

  • IT DOES NOTHING

  • if you thought that it would, you are a moron.

  • your a dumbass

    4.LOOK AT YOUR BACKGROUD,FREAKY!

  • Fail...

  • i put a ball in my glove then put 2 rubberbands around it and let it sit over night then play catch

  • me personaly i dont like my glove to be flimsy and bend all the way but what works the best for me is to find your local batting cages ask if u can sit in a cage and catch balls that is the fastest was to get good form on your glove

  • i just oil it up and then put a ball in it; wrap a rubberband around it, let it sit for three days then play catch.

  • put it in the microwave works

  • how long do u put it in 4

  • That dries out the laces and makes them break faster.

  • just put a ball in it and put string around it so its tight then let it sit for a week or two then play

  • I just put a ball into where I want my pocket to form and rubberband it. Making sure the ball does not move.

then I just put it under my mattress for a couple weeks and then play catch.

    Never have used oil.

  • i prefer catch as the best method

  • @terrence77477 me too

  • how do i break in a really thick leathered glove

  • just oil it up and put a ball inside of it and put weight on it or put a few tight rubber bands around it. or just lay it under your matress or under a heavy weight over night or a couple days

  • Well done.
