  • bought one with a little yellowing on the bottom on ebay yesterday, cant wait!

  • pal version looks much better. i bought one from my friend for 20€ an now i have donkey kong country mega man x2 and just bought super mario kart :D

  • The only reason Sega went down under is terrible management. Nothing wrong with the hardware, the guys selling it really blew it.

  • "it's like a toaster" - LOL

My litter sister put a bunch of pennies in my old SNES around the time the N64 came out. I'll never forgive her.

  • And where can i find SNES games? thanks too

  • Where did you buy this? Im planning to buy one but im not sure where to look.

  • @renno650 any classic game store you should have one we have one up here in north dakota

  • My snes has four colors on the controller:

    Green red blue And yellow

Cause i got a european one!

  • greatest console ever made, the first hardcore gamer console.

  • Say it with me guys. Blow in the cartridge! Or fold up a piece of paper and wedge it in with the cartridge. Ah good times. :)

  • @EthonMullins

I never did the paper thing, but I gave my SNES and cartridges plenty of CPR back in the day.

  • I've always been amazed at how ugly the north american SNES model is, so bland and square.

  • @sacrament182 And purple, the worst part of all.

  • @sacrament182 Whoa, the SNES looks frigging awesome.

  • @Danel240 ya but Nintendos not as great as they used to be

  • My favorite game system ever. I grew up with it...so many memories.

  • There are good reasons why the Nintendo is still pumping out hardware and Sega is a shell of what it once was remember that.

  • @danel240 True, but if the Dreamcast had received better marketing and had become more popular things would look very different. It still is the best console for its time i have ever owned and i own all the "big ones" since NES. Nintendo had the N64 and Sony the PS1 and they were just a shadow of the Dreamcast. Sadly it never really took off as Sega had produced too much crap since the Genesis. Not many not hardcore fans did still buy their stuff. They should have ;)

  • @danel240 because they sold out for the sake of mainstream appeal....

    that's the only answer...

the N64 and gamecube weren't very successful sales wise. and that nearly killed nintendo.

so they sold out and went for gimmicky mass media shovelware.....

    with the wii and DS...

it's not quality which kept nintendo alive...

    it's selling out....

i miss the 90's the N64 and SNES were awesome.....

  • let me guess, everyone below me is spouting there own opinion as fact.

  • @496wii Welcome to the Internet!

  • I really respect your love of SMG though... Thet is possibly my all time favourite game and is simply mind blowing but how is this for irony, I loved Sonic Adventure 1 and especally 2 yet it seems as if you don't. Interesting hey? But in reading your posts, In saying what Mario games yu like makes me think your not good at them of something because you do not seem to understand what Super Mario is about. Im curious, have you played Sonic 4 Episode 1? What you think & what gamerscore/trophy?

  • @LFiers I played Sonic 4 on Wii and thought it was phenomenal. Dimps hit it out of the park; I honestly didn't think they had it in them. The Adventure games are okay, but the first one in particular I just don't find very fun--especially when Mario has such great 3D games (outside of the mediocre and archaic Sunshine, to which I prefer Sonic Adventure 2). In any case, I grew up playing Mario and I consider myself a rather skilled Mario player.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman Fair enough. Well I grew up playing both and love them both but prefer 2D Mario over 2D Sonic & believe them to be better designed overall with a diverse array of things like it's memorable power ups, swimming levels, multipaths leading to several different exits, secrets, overworld maps, perfect set ups for speed runs and exporation, good 2 player mode, excellent boss battles etc. I love Sonic for different reasons. Opinions vary. Thanks again for holding a civil convo. Bye.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman P.S I loved Sunshine & though it was great looking, unique and a fun concet with the water elements. P.P.S And yeah Sonic 4 is generally hated by many fans but I disagree with them and agree with you, I loved it. I actually got all the achievments in it, emeralds. Beating the last boss with getting hit once was a challenge. Lastly, you like Sonic CD?

  • @LFiers Sure, Sonic CD is up there with 3&Knuckles as one of my favorites. You know, even I couldn't get the last Emerald in Sonic 4. That Special Stage was hard!

  • @EkajTheSwordsman Oh that one, yes! That was a bitch, took me around 2 hours or more just get that one. Haha. But I felt not getting hit by the last boss once was a harder challenge as I also includes the other 4 you fight as well! Many times I would get right to the last part when Eggman hits the ground and I would get hit having to start over again from the start which includes all 4! & about Sonic CD I've always wanted it but never owned a Mega CD but I brought it on PS3 PSN. Its different.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman I'm only a few levels in & had huge hopes for it but idk... the levels are massive and all but I'm just not sure if the levels are as well set up as Sonic 1, 2 or 3 which were amazing for its roller coaster type speed runs which to me are the heart of Sonic, not exploration but so far SCD feels more, like it wants you to explore & too many things stop you when speed running. I really hope it gets better as I always dreamed of owning this game.

  • The victors write the history books. Back in the day, Genesis and Sonic were far more popular, acclaimed, and successful than SNES everywhere in the world except Asia (where Genesis came in third place, after the Turbo-Grafx). In recent times, people have decided to rewrite history so that SEGA was always doomed and the old Sonic games were always as broken as the pre-Rush Adventure Dimps games or 06.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman "Victors write the history books" Well umm, thats an irrelevant statement within this scenario but yeah if you want to go there too.. thats why Super Mario is the victor till this day which is why it single handedly SAVED the video game industry, redefined history, and continues to do so till this day while Sonic is still just haning on my a fine thread. Here's a fact. Sonic would not exist without Marios help. He was created ENTIRELY by a Super Mario fan trying to cash in.

  • @LFiers It's not surprising that Sonic's original games were similar but superior to Mario's. They improved on the design. It's not the concept of Mario which stands out; it is the execution in every single game. In theory, almost every platformer since Mario should be greater. I'm afraid that your understanding of freedom in Mario games is quite facile, as they offer none of the replay value of the original Sonic titles; the levels are far smaller and require much more tedious precision.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman Key word that you mentioned: Precision. Thats what Mario is exactly, intricately layered and designed levels and gameplays motifs and unique elements which as I've said before Sonic is still trying to catch up on. Sonic was floaty, choppy, and sloppy compared to Mario & still is. Platformers=precision & timing Its no secret Sonic was ALWAYS playing catch up to Mario due to its inferior level design. Its fast, frantic but forgettable. Who can forget Mario 1, 3 & SMW for example?

  • @LFiers Mario is a game of precise memorization, trying over and over until you get the timing right. There is a degree of precision that is a hinderance--the trouble with computers is that they do EXACTLY what you tell them to do. Missing a jump in the original Sonic games would almost never kill you--this is where games like Sonic Rush miss the point entirely. Sonic's speed was concieved as a way to make things more convenient for the player; the modern games are going in reverse.

  • The massive, sprawling levels that can be completed dozens of ways and the pacing of the early Sonic games is almost impossible to replicate. Sonic can bounce across the screen like a pinball in any number of directions using any number of gimmicks, and the designers had to anticipate every way of playing it so that there were no cheap shots. The endless possibilities for arcade-style scoring, the beauty of the visuals, and creativity of the bosses make them a much more sophisticated design.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman lol Oh my god dude you just copied and pasted again but barely changed a few words. Trust me I know I've read that before & I think I know where that exert is from. Anyway what you refer to is Sonic CD, pretty much the only non linear one. The other's were basically one track and linear so that is nonsense. Mario always was about secrets and exploration and much larger levels filled with vast arrays of easter eggs and secrets in comparison to Sonic whilst allowing speed runs.

  • SEGA had a much larger first-party lineup: Gunstar Heroes, Streets of Rage 2-3, Phantasy Star 2-4, Comix Zone, Shining Force 1-2, Vectorman 1-2, Monaco GP, Outrun, Golden Axe 1-2, Sonic 1-3&K, Alien Soldier, MUSHA, Mickey in Enchanted Castle, Ecco 1-2, Lunar Silver Star, Sonic CD, Virtua Fighter, Virtua Racing, Afterburner Complete, Eternal Champions, Thunderhawk, Arcade Hits, Shinobi 2-3, Columns, Ristar, Final Fight CD, Batman Returns, Shadow Squadron, SMS games, & Ghouls N' Ghosts.

  • I respect your opinion &I too am a lover of all good games and consoles and have both Megadrive and SNES but in my opinion, the SNES was far superior, better controller, more capable graphics, sound plus it had legendary game changers which Medadrive didnt have like Super Mario, Mario Kart, Zelda, Metroid, Castlevania, Mega Man X, better ports of Street Fighter, better 1st and 3rd part support etc. Megadrive was better for sports games though & I just couldnt go past Sonic. I am a big Sonic fan.

  • @PrrrromotionGiven AWW YA BABIE! Lol

  • I just got one today from my Uncle, time to get some games. He also had one in box.

  • get a s famicom

  • SEGA had superior offerings to just about every first-party SNES game, and Genesis sytems/games cost less. Sonic 3 blows Mario World out of the water, Monaco GP destroys F-Zero, Space Harrier and Soul Star annhilate Star Fox and Pilotwings. Ristar, Dynamite Headdy, Gunstar Heroes, Alien Soldier, Shining Force, Streets of Rage 2, Vectorman, Golden Axe, Puyo Pop, and Comix Zone are way better than Kirby Dreamland 3, Super Mario Kart, Mario Paint, Yoshi's Island, Japan-only Fire Emblem, DKC.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman its all a source of opinion.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman I stopped reading after i saw "sonic 3 blows super mario world out of the water" GTFO!!

  • @TheRocTV I should've stopped too but I wrote back to him. Before I get flamed, I personally love Sonic 3 and am a huge fan but they never could match the timeless and legendary quality of Mario and its gameplay & articulate design in general. Regardless of opinion, as the greatest and most noteworthy developers and key figures in the industry will attest to, this is a known fact. Heck Sonic in general wouldnt even exist without Mario. Inventor of Sonic was a huge Mario fan too btw.

  • @TheRocTV You've played Sonic 3, right?

  • @EkajTheSwordsman It's a matter of opinion. I agree with you completely, but I'm just saying it's a matter of opinion.

  • @PrrrromotionGiven You're right.

    @megamegaman247 So are you.

What I was getting at is this--I think that the first-party library of Genesis is stronger than that of the SNES. But that doesn't inherently make it the better system. You see, the SNES had a lot more third-party support. I think if games like Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Act Raiser, Illusion of Gaia, Contra 4 and other third-party titles had been for Genesis, it would have outsold the SNES.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman Stats time! EVERYWHERE except Asia, the Genesis or Megadrive outsold the Super Nintendo or Famicom by a slight margin. It's just that, particularly in Japan, the Super Famicom completely obliterated the Megadrive, hence why that has more total sales. In North and South America and Europe, Genesis/Megadrive beat Super Nintendo.

  • @PrrrromotionGiven Is that right? I knew that Genesis won in North America, but I didn't realize it won in South America and Europe as well. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised if that's the case, however, in light of the fact that Europe and South America were much more receptive to the Master System then other regions (and Sonic is, according to a recent poll, the most popular video game character in the UK). I guess that those third-party JRPGs for SNES really did make a difference in Asia!

  • @EkajTheSwordsman I think what swung it in Asia was just that Nintendo made the NES, which was worshipped like a God there, and the SNES was the obvious next step. The Genesis is comparable the the Xbox 360 in many ways, I think, and one of those ways is that Genesis and 360 are disliked in Asia and SNES and PS3 are dominant in Asia.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman On a random note, Chrono Trigger is my all time favourite game.

  • @LFiers I've always preferred Sonic CD's style and level design; but you shouldn't expect any radical changes with the formula when you get further in the game. It's true that such enormous levels lend themselves to exploration, but the game is quicker than Sonic 1. In fact, it's a much easier game to speedrun than the Genesis titles, because the game itself has fewer obstacles to slow you down. It saves your times and I don't feel one playthrough is enough to fully appreciate it.

  • @LFiers I haven't played Chrono Trigger.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman lol You're kidding right? Monaco GP destroys F-Zero!? Space Harrier destroys Starfox!? Sonic 3 destroys Mario World!? Haha. Early Sonics especially Sonic 3 are my fav games but it's still nothing on Mario World. Megadrive didnt even Castevania 4, Metroid & so much more. I enjoyed Megadrive but it was far inferior than the SNES and the sales and reviews reflect this perfectly regardless. I love Sega but most of their early success was just trying to mimick the SNES.

  • @LFiers Super Monaco GP was highly acclaimed, garnering an at-the-time-unprecedented 10-10-9-9 rating from Electronic Gaming Monthly's Review Crew and a 93% from Mean Machines. I don't think you've played it. Genesis was better designed, had a better controller, was much cheaper and more durable, and had a far larger library. Sonic was much more popular than Mario at the time, and won GOTY over Mario World in 1991. Genesis outsold SNES in Europe, North and South America, and Australia.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman Thanks for your civil reply. Honestly theres so much I could say in reponse that I won't have the space or time now but I'll mention a few facts and opinions. First off, I honestly enjoy the Megadrive I want you to know that. I hated the D-Pad on all of them. Its flimsy. Playstation and SNES has the best D-pad hands down. Megadrive's feel like a Honeybee controller if you know what that is. Plus no shoulder buttons. Look now? Its industry standard & changed the way we play.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman (c) 3 button pad was pathetic. The 6 button layout was cool for some games like Street Fighter & been a fan of it I appreciate that. Great for 6 button arcade games but lacked the response and layout, egronomics and durability of the EU SNES pad. The angle of the SNES 4 buttons such as was almost perfect 45 degrees where the Megadrives was at an awkward angle for the majority of games. This also is now an industry standard as Xbox & PS angles use the SNES layout & rightfully so.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman (c2) Megadrive/Genesisis fairly durable but there are known issues too. The non EU SNES is well known to be one of the most durable consoles ever designed & I can attest to this first hand. I cant speak on the one here but it looks dodgy compared to the EU one. The controller ports on the MD model 1 even from the box are flimsy at best & the connector pins get worn rapidly increasing leeway & the connection isnt solid anymore. Using the aging DE9 shows lack of thought there.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman (c) I love Sonic, matter of fact Im wearing an original MegaWear Sonic 1 t-shirt as I type this ironically but don't forget, Sonic was just gaining popularity in circa 91 & people were just starting to find out about this new and hip character and game which is why. A poularity spike. His 15 seconds if you will. It means nothing. Justin Beiber is one of the most poular singers now. Yet I bet he will fade into obscurity soon which I'm not saying Sonic will but thats just an eg.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman (c3) Cheaper console reflected it's build quality which although good did not match the quality of the EU version can't speak on this one in the video though but I heard its not on the level of the EU one. Same goes with the pads. I hear this was the reason they changed it but can't confirm. Anyway look on any Best Game of All time Lists and see how many Sonic 3 are in there as opposed to SMW. Sonic was style over substance. Great style, but lack of substance compared to Mario.

  • @LFiers To me, it doesn't really matter how many people say Mario World is the best game of all time--I don't think it is. In fact, I think it's one of the weaker Mario adventures--not nearly as good as Mario 3, Yoshi's Island, 64, or Galaxy. I don't read Game Informer anymore, but I can tell you that their Top 100 Games list from a decade ago places Sonic the Hedgehog at least 20 or 30 places ahead of Super Mario World. I think that style and substance are integral to one another in Sonic.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman It's your opinion but just remember that you are in the minority. I know professionals in the game industry personally (I honestly hate to even mention it unless it's relevant. Noteworthy ones from Sumo Digital/Sega mainly) and I don't know any of them who would claim any Sonic as being even remotely close to Mario back in the day or now. Sega still tries to ape Mario's adventures. SM3 is great but I prefer SMW. Always have, better physics, design, more fluent, better maps.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman Honestly though, I must re-iterate I really respect the way you talk to me. It's a refreshing change from many who just throw swear words and insults when they disagree so kudos to you for respecting my opinions too. Kids at myu school used to have major physical fights over Sega vs Nes especially Mario & Sonic & I really do love both & I agree that the style part was integral to Sonic which is why he's still know today. I love Sonic so much. My fav is Sonic 2 on Megadrive.

  • @LFiers In head-to-head tests in the nineties, most people prefered Sonic over Mario. I think its because Sonic was much simpler, easier to control, used fewer buttons, was less linear, and more technologically advanced. Today, the opposite is true. Sonic has veered radically in the opposite direction. No, that quote in question is not anyone's word but my own. You are mistaken.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman And yes like I said, thats when people, including Mario fans were peeking there heads around the corner to check out what this new platform hero had to offer so Sonic had his 15 seconds of fame the gradually faded again in popularity & quality as you mentioned. Mario has been constistent & changed the way we play games in general. In 2008, 66% of developeres quoted Mario as the're biggest inspirations as games developers. And lastly, sure they were your words "Jake Murrin"?

  • @LFiers Absolutely. What do you think "Ekaj," my Youtube username, means? It's my name backwards.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman Okay then it is you Jake I didnt read it backwards. I believe you. I read all that a few weeks ago actually. I highly disagree but look, I don't want to upset you or whatever. You obviously have your opinions but the fact remains: I love them both but Mario truly changed the video game world while Sonic did not. The remnants of what Mario achieved and poineered are still relevant today where as Sonics are not. Mario is known to be masteful in its design by the most noteworthy.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman I have to go now dude, but it was good talking. I'm off to play some more Bayonetta for now. Bye. :)

  • @LFiers Farewell. I enjoyed the conversation.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman I respect you a little more now as I read your whole post, although I honestly find it difficult to fathom how you feel this way about Sonic as opposed to Matiobut am baffled as to why you compare them so much. They are different games. Mario: precision, intricate "set up's" in design while Sonic is a roller coaster ride of fast paced gameplay and style & graphics. Thats why Sonic even is known. Most just crumple under Mario's design. Sonic changed it, not "improved" in anyway.

  • @LFiers "Sonic improved on Marios design"!? In what planet? Sloppier controls, linear gameplay, minimal secretes easter eggs and gameplay elements and what do you mean? Sonic never had replay value like Mario did. SMW: 96 levels, including the chocolate world, Soda Lake, secret bosses and paths. What secret paths did Sonic have? Didnt even have an overworld come on now. Sonic had speed, graphics, fast gameplay & the best feautre the awesome character that is Sonic himself. I love the character!

  • @LFiers Mario World is a game you beat once and never play again. It doesn't matter how long it is. The levels are about 30 seconds long; they involve one set path of platforms to leap across with help from memorization. It's the level themselves that are nonlinear in Sonic; the freedom afforded the player to find dozens of routes and improve their game each time. Not the "freedom" to collect every blasted Yoshi Coin so that your life can be complete!

  • @EkajTheSwordsman Hey I just came back. Had to go to shops and refreshed afterwards. Honestly, SMW is by far one of the best designed games ever imo. Yet Sonic 3 is one of my favs so it's hard to talk about this without sounding biased but to me it sounds as if you you grew up with Sega consoles and only got into Nintendo later idk. Mario & World has been repeatedly spoken of within the industry & have been noted as an all time great. Also, I so disagree with replay value, Mario is infinite.

  • @EkajTheSwordsman (c4) About Monaco GP. I've played it & EGM is my favourite vg magazine back then! Milkman was cool! Believe me I know my games & as I mentioned before, Megadrive was the best for sport games which Moncao GP is but I preferred F Zero on SNES as it was far more original. By the way I like your copy & paste from wikipedia about Monaco GP haha! lol. ;p You're cool. Serious I like how you looked up info to dabate with me. 1st part Megadrive was good but not as memorable as SNES.

  • SNES is like pifft this loser console

  • o got my off my friend super dirty console still trying to clean of the dirt all cords 1 game diddy kongs quest 2, 1 controller and the reset buttton is broken for 9 bucks i had a $20 and 9 dollars that the soda machine took my money instead ten i had nine SCORE!!!

  • yeah it knows and when your sleeping it will eat your sega colection!!! SNES 4ever!!!

  • DID METROID EVER MAKE AN APPEARANCE ON THE SNES! IT WAS AWESOME!

  • @misterpooperman Yes, in the form of Super Metroid.

  • If you buy a SNES please make yourself a favor and buy Donkey Kong 1, 2 and 3.

    It's just phenomenal.

  • @PersonaBrazil Sonic Vs Donkey Kong 12 and 3 SONIC WINS Fatality

  • Comment removed

  • @TakerTV1

Both are great and i like Sonic better too, but please, no fatalities ok. =p

  • @TakerTV1 sonic never wins

  • Im waiting for the Super Wii

  • Three words: Super Mario World

  • @Nanofuture87 Exactly, one of the greatest games ever made!

  • Thumbs up if your watching this in 2077!

  • I love both Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo so i could really care less about peoples stupid arguments about the Sega vs Nintendo thing.

  • I had a genesis and a snes.I sold my genesis to pay for more snes games.

  • Reset is a Flinger & Power Button Is Snap! Which Manuel Missing?

  • The SNES controller may not look like much but it is a great controller. It is simple and very comfortable.

  • SNES was way better than Genesis

  • My snes looks completely different i got the donkey kong release package

  • SUPER NINTENDO SERÁ SEMPRE UMA CONSOLE INESQUECIVEL!

  • DONKEY KONG COUNTRY

  • snes was awesome, only because one game! super mario world, the only game i played with my bro when i was 3!

  • I feel sorry for people that had genesis instead of super nintendo.

  • Thumb up if you watch this in 2011 :D

  • @anassgame Thumbs if if the guy i'm responding to is a fag!

  • @anassgame i watched this back when it was new and now in 2011

  • @anassgame haha, not anymore bitch.

  • sega sucks nintendo was the shit. back in the 90's clinton era.

  • It has thoughts. It was saying "For fuck sakes its so fucking dark in this plastic shell!"

  • SNES IS LEGENDARY

  • @thepanayiotis1990 its the best console evar!!! :D

  • @thepanayiotis1990 Hell yeah. Probably the best console to date

  • It looks like you managed to get an early model SNES (with the seperate sound processor cartridge) that doesn't appear to have any flame retardant or UV yellowing. Nice.

  • Street Fighter II sold me on SNES back then.

  • @joeygonzo

You can clean the cartridge with alcohol and cue tip. Wet the cue tip with alcohol and clean the contacts of the cartridge. Let dry, play.

  • they bought a super nintendo entertainment system system?

  • Despite the drab color that the SNES was guilty of you have to admit it was very innovative in its design w/ shoulder buttons diamond 4 button layout and build quality (i.e KISS keep it simple stupid!) However Nintendo has obviously skewed from their original beginnings w/ the flash of the WII and now the 3DS... Unless they get in the free2play market and/or design a console like the the ONLIVE I CAN SEE NINTENDO being another SEGA or IBM or HP eventually...

  • I have to admit, it does have quite the funny looking stoneface.

  • *playing*

  • i just go on gamespot to look at SNES games in ABC order and the games i rememeber playiung i write them down and get on amazon n get em i do this on most of the systems i have and the games that went missing n get replaced

  • ha, i was was busy with nintendo back in the day

  • hey if you ever dont want your systems for some odd reason i will buy most of them XD. although i cant say i'd buy all of them or else i'd have alot of doubles

  • I just picked up Super Mario World for 20 Bucks. Little Overpriced, but I'am getting a Great Game. It was very stubborn in my SNES, took me about 4 or 5 cleanings, until it went into the SNES Smoothly. Also I have a Question, is it safe to clean the Pin connector itself ? Please Reply, thanks.

  • @TheBillbot NO offense at all but wow sucks for you to get it for 20 i got my game from goodwill for just 2 bucks

  • @warriorsrock123

None Taken, the Prices at my Retro Game Store are Extremely Steep. SMW, being an extremely Common SNES game should be cheap as dirt at any store. I'm actually Agreeing with you.

  • @TheBillbot i totally understand that most of the stores around me are over priced too. every so often something comes up at goodwill or something but every where else they charge like 10 bucks for a game

  • I hope the 3DS Virtual Console gets SNES roms in the future. I would love to play 16 bit on the go.

  • I may be 14 but i still consider the Snes the best console ever made.

Nowdays the only genre that anyone cares about is Fps wich is so annoying i wish more devolpers made games like the adventures i have had on my Snes.

Sorry for my bad english i'm from Sweden (the country with Cows, Milk and blond girls)

  • @ahsdjsdgfhjgdhhhhhhh Yeah I sort of agree with you, and your English is fine dont worry :), but yeah anyways im a Playstation 3 Gamer ( also own a X360 and Wii ect ) but I would have to say that the SNES does fit in my top 5 best consoles. And yeah im also a huge FPS fan :L mainly because I just find them to be fun, but you know there is two types of gamers. Number 1`s like games such as Tekken, Street Fighter, Mario, Zelda ect. Number 2`s like games like BF,COD,MOH, Socom, Uncharted ect.

    Im 2

  • @xHozzah

Yeah fps's are fun and i would have liked them if it wasn't for the huge market of them.

But as you said theres 2 types of gamers and you should play what you find the most entertaining.

but i'm still pissed of that you think that Wrestling game or whatever it was is the best SNES game :D

  • @ahsdjsdgfhjgdhhhhhhh Haha lol, I was just saying that I thought it was a good wrestling game, tbh I havent played SNES enough to say whats my fav game :L. And yeah FPS have a waaayy too huge of a market nowadays :L, the only really series that should keep going is BF, MOH and shitty COD. Games like Homefront are good, but always have much bigger problems than BF,MOH,COD, Socom,Halo ect.

Im not all a FPS freak lol,I also love games like Uncharted, Infamous, Gears Of War ect. But its up to you

  • @xHozzah

Really you should try out Super Metroid its not to childish, really if you look past the graphics its kinda scary and dramatic! :)

The earlier SNES systems were built like bricks. I've had them fall off the entertainment center at about 3 or 4 feet, get stepped on, spilled liquid on them, accidentally kicked them into the wall and they still worked. The Genesis was clunkier and more flimsy, in my opinion.
