@mademynamekindoflong Thanks :) Yeah pity about my hi-hats. I don't have any overhead mics so the sound is not coming through great. When I crank up the high-frequencies on my snare mic (which is closest to the hi-hat), the hats just sound too 'harsh'! Pity I can't afford a decent pair of overheads :(

Haha talent I'm not so sure I'm still trying to improve on my sticking and grooves because mine is very basic...Actually when I do retakes, since I never know what I'm doing, sometimes the the next retake I miss out on something cool I did before but I never exactly remember what I did (just remember that it sounded quite good - ha).
