The ONLY reason people claim to like TNA is because they aren't PG! Yeah some of their wrestlers are pretty badass but thats mainly the reason. If WWE were to finally get back on track and kill PG, WWE would destroy TNA.
i played both games. The story mode (career mode) gameplay is much better in 09 than it is in Impact (09 has two types of career mode where u can play as 7 different wrestlers on the road to Mania or take any superstar through a whole year of WWE action) Plus this is almost 10 years past the 21st century so i think Midway should know how to make a good game. TNA also over-hyped the game. They said that the game was going to be the Greatest Wrestling Game (quote from "great" commentator Don West)

I actually think the TNA game plays alot smoother though, it's simple, not alot of moves or wrestlers, but I think the gameplay is alot more fluid. Don't you? tna impact sucks. the create caw mode is terrible. there is a glitch in the save mode. the x division gameplay is a joke. it has fair movesets. svr 09 will definitely kill it
TNA could of made games from 2002 but they waited until the PS3 and Xbox360 came out so no matter how they mess up the graphics will look good, SVR went from PS1 and made the graphics look good all the way to right now with 08, we know which company actually has guts :)

#2: The CAW system sucks in TNA
#3: TNA entrences are only like 8 sec while wwe has full entrences
#4: the movesets in TNA only have like 10 moves while wwe has atleast 50

TNA could of made games from 2002 but they waited until the PS3 and Xbox360 came out so no matter how they mess up the graphics will look good, SVR went from PS1 and made the graphics look good all the way to right now with 08, we know which company actually has guts :)

I'm glad TNA brought out a game because now WWE has pulled out all the stops to make sure that Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 is the best game yet. We all no that Vince refuses to be beaten, so there is no way in hell TNA's game will be better.

TNA was just waiting for the fall of wwe video games to make there own, they could of started, the year they began come up wit a game that year or the year after that one, TNA still cant beat the smackdown franchise, they still have to catch up

Tna is going to be a good game, they focused too much on the entrances and graphics,and how things went down, the gameplay seems about average, so, TNA = 3/5
WWE has the uper hand cause they focused on the other things througout the years, 09 is going to be good.
