  • I still have my old bmx bikes in my attic. A Robinson, a Supergoose, and a Thruster. Boxes full of old araya rims, a uni seat ,red line cranks etc. Glad somebody thinks this stuff is cool. I raced here in Miami Fl back in the day early 80's- Nelson Chanady era.

  • if you lived through the 80s & are feeling down buy your favorite 80s BMX & RIDE IT it's 100 times better than a psychologist believe me.

  • My boyfriend raced during that time, he was sponsored by Team Robinson and a few others. His name is Jason Shegas, anyone here race with him? I'm looking for the old school magazines if anyone can help me find them.

  • got one for twenty five bucks at a rummage sale the other day

  • Great video thanks for posting it really brought back some good memories. When I was a wee little lad I had a friend who owned a Hutch Pro Racer with 3-piece Bullseye cranks and I tell you I've never held a lighter or better BMX bike ever and I've been on many.

  • Wrong about the PK Ripper being the first aluminum bike. Kawasaki made one back in 1970's

  • wow thats a nice collection!! btw PK rippers wernt the most wanted! it was Hutch trickstars!!

  • KUWAHARA!!!

My dad had a 86' bravo KT

  • pressurized helium. What a nice gimmick. I love me some bmx. You either get it or you don't.

  • I've owned over 10 bikes, most were BMX, and all of them but one were stolen from me, near my property. I rent, and live in Minnesota. Even the bikes I was able to find that were taken, wound up gone again. Keep a firm eye on any of these, they are HOT property! I truly regret my lax security as I have no more bikes, or money to get any

  • Thank you omegle dude who sent this youtube link me!!! I loooove this <333

  • hell ya!sidehack for the win!

  • Yeah, those days were really fun, bikes were great. I had mixed feelings back then about he PK Ripper and the aluminum but what I know now, about aluminum and welding, those bikes were to bomb........I did love SE colors, the baby blue and the camoflauge, and the light browns.......really neat. I had Redline and Hutch however, Still have my hutch in great shape.....wish I had the pedals and the cranks however.

  • The down tube on my Haro Freestyler snapped in half after about 18 months. The welds inside the forks also broke, so that only the front brake bolt was holding them together.

The Haro Master frame released a couple of years later also broke.

I then moved onto Redline, and an RL20 (with a single pipe for a top tube), and it was (and still is) indestructible.

Still have it with HP48 rims, flight cranks, Redline bars, and would never sell it. A relic frozen from 1987.

  • im 11 year old I love to BMXing I realy enjoy

  • I'm only 18, I love collecting old bmx bikes. I have quite a few now. I have a 1985 SE Quadangle Freestyle, 1986 Mongoose Decade, 1981 Mongoose Supergoose with NIckel Finish with Motomag to Wheels, and a 1984 Mongoose Californian, and some others...

  • any 1 know were i can get a vintage bmx bike like a witch web site i stay in california any spot out here if any 1 knows thanks in advance

  • Ebay... have to keep checking for what you want.

  • Yeh, I liked that PK Ripper after a while. At first I was scared of the Aluminum and the giant welding, thinking that was somehow not strong. I thought Torkers were funny, had no friends with Torkers. I had a Redline and then a Hutch. Still have the Hutch today, want to give it to a son or daughter if I ever have one. The only sad thing is that I could not afford Hutch Pedals or Cranks or Hubs! I have the Hutch Forks, Neck, Handlebars. Great video....thanks.

  • the Hutch has always been my all time favorite. Had three of them. I got a 86 gt performer now still. chrome with black tuff twos.

  • that is so cool!old school rules!

  • my torker eddy king blows those bikes away

  • on the quicksilver helium were those arayas or ukais.

  • the old pks were all right but the back triangle would always bend or snap but the new pk are very durable.

  • a helium filled frame ?

i didnt even know quicksivler done bmx's !

owuldnt mind a crisp skyway ta

didnt they re-release the kuwahara et for the 25th anniversary

  • The first haro is a knock off of a torker.

  • Tell us something we don't know, infact it wasnt a knock off, it actually was made in the same factory!

  • i always wanted the pk ripper(alumaniam)

  • i like the kuwahara the most
