I've loved Steves voice for 30 years. There has been a lot of talent out there, but none of them can touch Steve Perry, his voice, hes so so handsome, his songs. Steve was far more than just "The Voice" he was the Heart and Soul of Journey and a major factor in opening up the Rock Genre to Ballads.
Steve's contribution to the world of music was simply awesome and can still be felt today.

@ 2:37 in this song, that pic is not of Steve Perry, it is of an artist that goes by the name of Hugo and was the singer of Valentine/Open Skyz. He sounds and looks like Steve BUT is not Steve. You could probably find him on youtube also.

Ahh, I'm among good people here. Steve is the best, period. I wish he and Journey would get back together, and recreate the magic. Nothing sums up the nostalgia of my childhood and teen years better than Steve Perry and Journey. "Faithfully", "Seperate Ways, Worlds Apart", "Be Good To Yourself"... wow! Your fans miss you Steve, please come back and put the SOUL back in music again!

I've loved Steves voice for 30 years. There has been a lot of talent out there, but none of them can touch Steve Perry, his voice, hes so so handsome, his songs. Faithfully being one of my many favorites. I love seeing his pictures, they get better and better. Steve you continue to take my breath away.

NO ONE has more emotion than him. No one! He's an original. Nobody can ever duplicate what he does, though some of come somewhat close. The best "getting laid" music and "end of summer" music and "chilling" music and "partying" music ever. Journey and Steve have created some of the best songs in history. Thanks, guys!

I think that he really got hurt and didn't get over it.(He said in an interview that he quit music for 2 years b/c of his mother's illness and that a 6 year relationship had just exploded. He said he didnt listen to music for 2 yrs. I think he was very depressed.
