@HowieMusicLtd Christianity wasn't created by Rome. Catholicism was. Back then very few people were even allowed to read the Bible or have a working translation. So the foundations of European Christianity even after the Renaissance were built on lies. This is why there are so many denominations. I doubt what we often refer to as Christianity today would be viewed in the same light if the masses actually were allowed access during it's infancy and this is something rarely addressed.
I think if we all lived for a lot longer, say 250 years, there would be a stronger instinct towards sustainability, longer term solutions etc. But life, being short amplifies the individuals need to ensure her optimises his or her own security in life and hence, we take what we can get while we're here. A typical workign life of 40years, which is required to sustain an adult life of maybe 60 years of more is a short time.

I used to work in the tehnological industry creating circuit boards or PCB's, you can totally recycle every component on a board, it is just a matter of time and money. So if you grew rescources such as food and housing, and took away the system of annual gross profit growth, this would be possible on an unpresidented level if you recieved food and housing tokens to recycle discarded iphones and ipads which are not upgradable like the old desk top computers. It would all eventually even out.

@HowieMusicLtd Christianity wasn't created by Rome. Catholicism was. Back then very few people were even allowed to read the Bible or have a working translation. So the foundations of European Christianity even after the Renaissance were built on lies. This is why there are so many denominations. I doubt what we often refer to as Christianity today would be viewed in the same light if the masses actually were allowed access during it's infancy and this is something rarely addressed.

I think if we all lived for a lot longer, say 250 years, there would be a stronger instinct towards sustainability, longer term solutions etc. But life, being short amplifies the individuals need to ensure her optimises his or her own security in life and hence, we take what we can get while we're here. A typical workign life of 40years, which is required to sustain an adult life of maybe 60 years of more is a short time.

You know , what is killing this movement from getting off the ground? Its seemed hate of religion. I'm sorry but I haven't seen a Holy War yet that didn't involve money. I'm taking you ideas and revising them one where religions are tolerated and the monetary system is gone. I just don't understand why you mix these two things together. What its not hard enough just to get rid of the monetary system? You want to take on religion while your at it. Your doomed if you try that.

@HowieMusicLtd Maybe hate is to strong a word? Believe me these books don't just get rewritten. Its like going through congress to get the constitution rewritten whatever changes is well thought out and planned by more then one person. All I know is there stance on religion and private property won't work politically and thats why I have to blaze my own trail. I wanted to go with these people but the religion wasn't nescessary in my view. Religion doesn't cause wars greed does

I'm at an hour and half. I can't get enough of these films. The secret society people have been my hate for a long time. I can see now though the biggest fight maybe with them to stop this but truely the system is far more evil then I ever dreamed. I used to say God infinate resources and the devil was 0 resources Now I truely know the devil is far worse he's less then 0 resources soul taking. How do you get less then 0? The commune was on the right track. We need land, we need to get off the grid. We need a source of income until money is history. A recycling plant M.E.R.F. that collects the methane maybe. Maybe we should take over a trash company or an organic farm, but whatever we need to find each other locally and get started.

But I also know that is not what these ppl are asking, living with each other can be the best medicine, and they need our numbers right now. But what happens after the uprising, well, we live with each other in poverty for a while, but while we do that we show them we how much we can tolerate from each other and they (1%) come out of their ivory towers. We all die of old age but have no need to procreate, and being a homo (homo erectus), is acceptable and graadually get that chilled out feel

I have been waiting for this all of my life. And the bigger picture is more important than me, but i'm not going to just take the death pill yet, not until I start to see true change. We do not have any other choice for anything other than this change with what our history has shown us. The moment I am satisfied is the moment I recycle myself, because it is worth dying for and I don't have a masters degree in physics and am no longer required as bots can do everything... :(

As for an entity that watches over us. I know we have been here before, that we linger after death, but the slate is wiped clean and all that happens is that our energies are recycled. And that entity has little control over our hearts and minds and it definately would not like to see the world in the state it is in now, and would understand we need to use logic a lot more, but in a compassionate way. I used to work in the tehnological industry creating circuit boards or PCB's, you can totally recycle every component on a board, it is just a matter of time and money. So if you grew rescources such as food and housing, and took away the system of annual gross profit growth, this would be possible on an unpresidented level if you recieved food and housing tokens to recycle discarded iphones and ipads which are not upgradable like the old desk top computers. It would all eventually even out.

There's one point which I would like to draw upon... Which I have a personal knowledge of. Linux vs. Windows vs. MacOS.
Windows release newer and newer versions of their product.
MacOS does the same.
Linux is free, but does not release newer and newer versions of the core product. Instead, it is updated to accommodate the demand. This process does not waste the time spent having to build the core from a continuously refined "scratch".
A free product is ultimately a better product.

one idea they never touch on... which i believe is the most important of all, is population control. we cannot simply multiply exponentially on this planet forever. the more people here, the less resources to go around. double the population of every country in the world overnight, and see how miserable our lives will be tomorrow. we should work to lower the population of earth by 20% in the next 50 years.

@tubestick00 in most devolped countries the growth is small, or declining, i think if this system were put into use we would see the population ease of, more people would have use of contraception and less desire to have loads of kids, or maybe im wrong. But population control? you are going along the lines of eugenics here and thats a definate no no. We cant kill of people or make people sterile, thats inhumane, no one has the right to control how we live or cull the population

@VerifyVolatile perhaps its possible, but dont you think its prudent planning to behave as if that is not poossible untill we have succesfully achieved it? in practice, colonising other planets would be problematic, and no second planet is tailor made for us like earth. we have evolved perfectly in this environment. any foreign planet would not be ideal.

You may be right, but that's where terraforming comes in. Besides, they found a planet just like Earth "only" 10 light years away from us. So we can "still go there" while we attempt to solve the problem of making Mars, Saturn og Jupiter habitable.
