She's a great rider! Everyone falls off sometimes. I just got moved up to a more advanced horse and the first day I was cantering on him I fell off and broke my shoulder! Don't let anyone tell you to stop riding(:
I love how she gets up just as fast as she fell. So what if she shed a few tears in the end? ALL of us have cried from falling. Maybe not from because it hurt, but because of the shock. The first time I fell, (about 7 or 8) I cried because it was SHOCKING. Call me a baby or a wimp, just don't accuse HER of being a bad rider! So just lay off. Not everyone can just laugh it off, people. I think she is a GREAT rider.
That fall was one that can knock wind out of you. Its a shock to not be able to breath and I member till I finally told myself you cant do this if you ride you gotta get up and make sure the horse is good eachtime you fall (Thankfully not to often and no its not cause I barely ride, I ride everyday sept for one to give my pony a break, Its cause im lucky and when I do its a damn shitty fall and my mind says fuckno!) So I learned to cope with wind being knocked out.

And giving my horse is 16.3, it hurts. Just because you ride doesn't mean you can call someone else horrible if you don't know who they are or how long they've been riding. I can't imagine you even touching a horse, given as you can't even spell. What type of parents would do that to a horse?

Give her a break she's not that young!!! Also, the ground is rubber i no this cause i rode there and the pony (Freddie) naturally makes our position so hunched over, and dont blame her instructor, she was the one telling her to sit up!

@bgps95 the girl only looks youngish so i assume the instructor/trainer thought it would be best. When i had a bad fall off a pony my instructor put me on someone else the week after to help keep my confidence up before I rode the other one again xx

GUYS if it is gravel , it is fine gravel, not sharp and it is little pieces, it is quite a common floor for arena's its fine aand small so it dosnt hurt the horses feet.... and for all the crit jump on your horse, set up a camera, and we'll crit your riding...no ones great at it.

I broke my arm on my horse while doing barrels she spooked I fell into a rail which broke my arm then hit the ground which pushed pushed it up and I didn't cry once even on the bumpy car ride to the hospital I relise the emberrassmet though

Awe, they shouldn't have put her on a different horse! They should've gotten her back on him & made him do work for that rude behavior! You know, let him know that wasn't right b/c he'll think tossing a rider off means he'll get out of work & he'll just do it again to another rider. Let him know that tossing a rider means more work, not less! Glad the girl was okay, but hopefully she tried that horse out again so she'd get over whatever fear(if any) of him she may have had. =)
i don't want to sound rude, but why rubber? why not just use dirt?? why make a whole arena full of the stuff?? I'm seriously curious...what does the rubber do to improve a ride?
@chihiroxmiyazaki why rubber arena footing? because its dust free, drains better than dirt, offers better impact absorption, and in my experience creates less potential strain on tendons. But, rubber footing can smell bad (like tires), and since it's black, in a hot climate can be a bit of a cooker. There ya go on the pro's/con's.

This message goes to all of you who says it's not rubber. IT REALLY IS RUBBER! I'm 16years old & I've been riding at rubber since I was 12years old & it makes that sort of noise & it does leave dust marks. Everytime I fall off do I brush the dust away from my clothes with my hand
I can pretty much guarantee tht is a rubber school .. with a sand base. Its the same as my old liverys school, one its been ridden on for so long the sand and rubber start to just get mixed together, also rubber gets brought out over time by feet and poo shuvling it therefore it gets thinner. Cant belive everyones fighting about what it sounds like... blimey. NOBODY, would have a school with bloody gravell... think about it.

First of all the horse was cantering, not trotting. So if you can't tell the difference between two very different paces how are you going to tell the difference between rubber and gravel?

shes so lucky that could of been a LOT worse like the horse could of ran her over or she could of hit the fence also a lot of riders land on there head and hurt there neck but luckly she got away just a bit embarsed i think more than anything

Awe, they shouldn't have put her on a different horse! They should've gotten her back on him & made him do work for that rude behavior! You know, let him know that wasn't right b/c he'll think tossing a rider off means he'll get out of work & he'll just do it again to another rider. Let him know that tossing a rider means more work, not less! Glad the girl was okay, but hopefully she tried that horse out again so she'd get over whatever fear(if any) of him she may have had. =)

i don't want to sound rude, but why rubber? why not just use dirt?? why make a whole arena full of the stuff?? I'm seriously curious...what does the rubber do to improve a ride?

@chihiroxmiyazaki why rubber arena footing? because its dust free, drains better than dirt, offers better impact absorption, and in my experience creates less potential strain on tendons. But, rubber footing can smell bad (like tires), and since it's black, in a hot climate can be a bit of a cooker. There ya go on the pro's/con's.

This message goes to all of you who says it's not rubber. IT REALLY IS RUBBER! I'm 16years old & I've been riding at rubber since I was 12years old & it makes that sort of noise & it does leave dust marks. Everytime I fall off do I brush the dust away from my clothes with my hand

I can pretty much guarantee tht is a rubber school .. with a sand base. Its the same as my old liverys school, one its been ridden on for so long the sand and rubber start to just get mixed together, also rubber gets brought out over time by feet and poo shuvling it therefore it gets thinner. Cant belive everyones fighting about what it sounds like... blimey. NOBODY, would have a school with bloody gravell... think about it.

to everyone who says that's gravel: IT ISN'T GRAVEL! That is the same kind of footing we have in the arenas at MY stable. Besides, if it was gravel, and if a horse is okay cantering on it and doesn't chip his hooves or pick up a lot of stones, there is nothing wrong with it!
