Gotta aim above just by a tiny bit. If it's across the map you got aim an extra head above him or so. You also have to lead you shot. So yes, you do have to aim ahead because of bullet drop

@ESASMercer take in effect people have body armor, and the fact that people dont usually shoot in fully automatic, People shoot in bursts or single for better accuracy, if u fire full auto its inaccurate, that is why people with a M249 Saw shoot in bursts

On the Xbox 360 2-3 accurate shots will kill the enemy. But most of the shots at the hip will miss. I've played the demo waayyy too much. I think I have about 18 hours played or some terrible number.
