Thanks for the video, do you know the official name of the color? looks like China blue, but then Ive never seen Surf blue (and ive heard a few MB "pros" call China blue "Marine blue' which is more of a cobalt)

Yep, that's China Blue. I had all 4 hubcaps in China Blue and Chrome plus an extra for the spare. That car was so awesome....

im going to change the belts tomorrow and radiatior and heater hoses at a mercedes specialist tomorrow. my dad said that everything else is fine except the axles and on front bearing.

one question, what are like the things to change or repair on a 83' 240D. like regular maintence from low to high you get me.. i know the oil change for one but i am a first time MB owner plz help.

I started with safety issues, steering, front end, and the axles. Then I worked my way to the stuff that was getting worn, bearings, bushings, fans, belts, battery. Motor mounts will need to be replaced often otherwise you will endure noise and vibration. Finally, the valve covers and gaskets were last before I started on re-gluing the paneling and replacing the door seals. Take your time and enjoy. (it wasn't cheap, but it was oddly satisfying)
