Please donot use this as a political platform and if so please refer to History correctly. Egypt was not a muslim country for thousands of years. It is a Muslim country since the conquest of Amr in 640 of the common era. Before it was mostly christian. Jews also lived there for many centuries before. Palestine has had muslim inhabitants since the conquest of Omar only. Jews had lived there for over 16 centuries before.

you forget the fact that some christians converted to islam in egypt..same with Palestine..some jews converted to islam..This does not mean i am descending from Amr and the arabs..I may be descending from the pharaohs but all is a blend now--I am not trying to use this a political platform but i m not addressing jews as relegion..i m addressing zionist Israel

Infact a study stated that one third of current muslim palestenians descended from jews who used to live there old ago..You can not say Inhabitants anymore..All is a blend..Just like egyptians, u may trace a muslim descending from a chrisitian descending from a jew since the roman torture era...

Answering your question, the Synagogues in Egypt are taken care of by the Ministry of Monuments and Tourism....They take care of all historic buildings and they are guarded as well..see how the Nabi Daniel Synagogue looks like for example..Very well shape as if built yesterday..

We are grateful that these are taken care of in Egypt and that they are protected too. Al Aqsa as all other Mosques are taken care of by the Waqf with the help and protection of the Israeli government too. I pray and ma confident that your question of responsibility will remain a rhetorical question.

It is like someone steals your house and puts his furniture inside and says: "see your furniture is more than mine"!!!!--that is the case of Israel and Palestine...Btw what stops you from building thousands of Synagogues in Israel? The helpless armless Palestinians ?? Who force you to build more mosques--god forbid??!!

Israel 60 years ago was Palestine...a muslim country so it is normal to have many mosques there...On the other hand, Egypt another muslim country for 1000s of years had Synagogues still there till now..this shows tolerance to relegion...my question is...Why Israel is trying to destroy Al Aqsa Masjid? one of the holiest mosques for muslims...doing lots of construction work beneath it in an effort to make it collapse..We never did for your Syngagogues..did u get where the double std is???!!

Please think about the following Egypt has 15 EMPTY synagogues. 30 others were sold many converted into Mosques. Israel has inumerable mosques FULL of muslims in prayer. There is no way Israel is destroying Al Aqsa. This is pure propaganda. If this were the case it would have been done earlier and quicker.

I hope it is just propaganda..I live in USA, and i watch CNN and others, many documentaries about Aqsa masjid made by US press--not arab press to say it is biased--but one of them showed live the construction work done and how this endangered the old mosque status...But i wish you are right and it is just propaganda..

30 Jews are left in Egypt. The community was 80000 strong prior to 1947. There were over 50 synagogues in the country then. The question to be asked is whose responsibility is it to maintain these synagogues ?

the real question is will jews be compensated for the 300 billion dollars in confiscated and deserted land they left behind when they were chased, murdered and killed in their homelands.

all you hear in the media today is israel occupying arab land. what about the arabs holding billions of dollars in land thats owned by jews? if they wont rebuild it or confiscated they should reimburse the jewish people for it.
