This is just the best opera production that was ever put together in my opinion. I love everybody in their roles. I love their singing, their acting. The costumes are fun. It's not set in a ridiculously inappropriate time period. The set for the last act could be a bit lusher, but it's a small complaint given the utter perfection of everything else. And of course the conducting is brisk and with feeling, refreshing when I'm used to rhein maidens who float instead of swim.

I'v never had the grace to hear her live ..... but everyWhere a can hear her voice a belive in what she sing! It not usual see on stage the real human presence ... not only a singer!

I liek the makeup for her. Shes very good looking but the makeup is extreme makes it into a mockery and over accentuates everything, much like kundry's character.

I can see how its easy not to like her. her voice isnt classically lovely, but she does have a voice, she uses it with accuracy, is a first rate musician and actress, and is always involved. very few singer, even those with beautiful voices, can offer that these days.
