call EPA and tell them you have some depleted uranium and see what happens. I have been told it is radio active by the department of defense and was the likley cause of my sons birth defects and they still refuse to assist in any way. It is not just the radioactive qualities of du but the fact it is a heavy metal like lead that can also be a cause
@gooneybird999 sorry but i just want to be clear, according to the department of defense my exposure to du may have caused his birth defects.THIS IS ACCORDING TO A LETTER I GOT FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE
@gooneybird999 So sorry to hear about your son and my prays are with you!
I am a ex Brit soldier and have been going through DU/Fallujah/Gulf war/Birth defects and keep coming across @Merlin5by5 who keeps spouting Lies and slagging off anyone who conects DU with birthdefects, he is a troll and spamer for the DOD or some other ulteriour motive!
@Merlin5by5 wonder why the DOD would send me a letter saying that 2 of my sons 5 birth defects were likely caused by my service in the gulf. To be exact they said "A significantly increased risk of specific birth defects such as aortic valve stenosis and tricuspid valve insufficiency amongst offspring of male veterans." If it wasn't the DU then perhaps it was the sarin gas i was exposed to. or the pills or other experimental drugs they gave us without testing them first
@gooneybird999 Also many plants that make DU have been shut down and they have to deal with clean up "having cost some $190m. Contractors demolished the buildings and removed more than 150,000 tons of soil and other contaminated detritus, digging down to depths of up to 40ft and trucking it 2,000 miles by rail to underground radioactive waste sites in the Rockies"
@gooneybird999 Also you say they cleared DU, Just like they cleared all the other things in the past. Observing atomic bombs, agent orange and as I mentioned all the experimental drugs they gave us which is a violation of the Geneva convention.
In addition I might add a debate is one thing but to insult people who are struggling with something you could have no concept of unless you had a sick child. Recently my son asked how many surgeries he has had, I told him I don't know.
@Merlin5by5 wow you are amazing, I was a 63tango which is a tank mechanic. I was with the 24th infantry division. I WAS that close to iraqi tanks. we walked around checking out the damage and seeing what we could salvage for parts to use on our vehicles.
@Merlin5by5 you would say it is fake there were many letters like the one I got sent out and I am sure if your were an X-ray tech you would have little knowledge of all the letters the DOD is sending out,
I wish you the best and am sorry for your animosity towards me but I am no longer going to feed the troll
The American government is covering up but someone has the courage to let this news come up. The American people have nothing to do with it. It is the American Zionist terrorist action against the Arab world. Shame on each government is covering up those atrocities.

Guess that makes you the lying cowardly bitch, doesn't it?

@gooneybird999
NO, actually, the MOST likely candidate for Gulf War Syndrome, and
the SLIGHTLY higher cancer rate, is the highly concentrated SELENIUM
that's in Dust. THAT produces heart problems
Merlin5by5 1 week ago
I am sorry for your Son's birth defects, but it's NOT du.
DU is less radioactive than granite, because it's depleted.
The more likely cause of your Son's problems is Selenium poisoning,
rife in the middle east, because of their poor farming techniques.
Farm Irrigation, and one crop/two crop rotation, concentrates Selenium
at the surface, and it's a bad enough problem that there are several
locations in the US with it, like the Kesterson Wildlife preserve, where
birds have birth defects.

@Merlin5by5 I keep seeing your posts on sites conected to the DU maters you sir are a troll and a LIAR you are doing spam for DOD!

@bollox679
NOPE, I am a US veteran, and an ex-Medic / Army Engineer.
The UN cleared DU of problems, and so did the US military
medical establishment. Every example you idiots show is either
a Harlequin baby, or a NORMAL birth defect, like micro and macro
encephaly. That's simply NOT what radiation damage does.
Radiation attacks fast growing cells, like blood production bone
marrow, the thyroid, and sex organs. NOT one of your claims is
supported by your evidence.

@gooneybird999
It's a HEAVY METAL, Dumbshit. Heavier than lead. Even when it's
pulverized by a mach 2 impact on a tank, it doesn't spread beyond
50 feet from the impact site, so unless you were that close to an
Iraqi tank, you are NOT affected. More important, radiation damage
to humans is VERY WELL DOCUMENTED. The damage is
concentrated in the THYROID, and Gonads. How come NONE
of your DU claims involves the THYROID, the MOST sensitive
organ to radiological damage?

By the way, I was trained as an 18C/D US Army medic. Then as an
X-ray technician (91P-20-40). SO, I have very specific radiation
training, and used to load the cobalt 60 radioactive pellets into
radiation treatment machines. Can't get any more specific.

I wonder why they would send that letter also. Why don't you POST it,
and prove you are not just pulling crap out of your ass? Because at
the VA here in Las Vegas, the ONLY letters going out are for Gulf
Syndrome studies, not fantasy DU injuries. NOR do they accept
pics of Harlequin Syndrome babies from medical museums as proof.

@gooneybird999
Don't worry, I am a VET, and I get the same letters you do, in fact, I
am part of the 20 year, followup study to Agent Orange. Selenium is
normally concentrated by agricultural irrigation. Farm drainage in the US
produces Cancer, Heart, Lung, and birth defect damage to bird populations.
HERE is the selenium wiki: wikipedia. org/ wiki/ Selenium
Search for "Selenium poisoning of water systems"
