The main bhangra dancer is my grandfather his name is Manohar Deepak he was the only person in history to get a national award from the Indian government for his accomplishments in bhangra and was the first person to form a bhangra group and was also the first to bring bhangra to hindi films!!

Manohar deepak, Your illustrious and esteemed grandfather, was a pioneer in this section of the Hindi Cinema. His Bhangra moments are so authentic that they bring tears of joy. Unfortunately,this genre of music and dance has fallen prey to crass commercialisation and has no connection with reality today. I remember he took active interest in Sunil Dutt's Ajanta Arts troupe. Our best wishes to him.
