  • Ki baat hai praji..wahhh awsome

  • Hatts offf Salilda.....the real legend.what a music

  • An absolute delight to the senses-- and filled with wisdom about the truths and falsehoods of modern urban life! Only Rafi and Balbir , rooted in Punjab's soil, could have brought out the authentic spirit of this genre. The Punjabi words delivered with natural accents make you feel as if you are in Amritsar or some place nearby. And the dance is of course just as perfect. A superb clip from a truly artistic movie, RK's best work ever.Thanks,riddler100.

  • God bless Raj Kapoor and the great artists in his film and all his films watching this is like

a priceless van gogh in motion, snapshot in time of a more decent existence. Now its just all about catering to the baser instincts ....

  • India's spirit and philosophy lives in such songs. Just proves the saying "Old is Gold". The man dancing the bhangra is just marvelous. Brings back memories.

  • Let us remember Prem Dhavan who wrote these beautiful meaningfull lyrics and also helped with the music of the song since he was from Punjab unlike Salil Da. (Other songs of the movie were written by Shailendra.)

  • bahoot keemti jaankari se nawaza hai janaab aapne..shukriya aapka

    -Manoj Kureel

  • Ohhh hat kehhhhh, praaaji bach kehhhh. excellent

  • God bless these legends.

  • The main bhangra dancer is my grandfather his name is Manohar Deepak he was the only person in history to get a national award from the Indian government for his accomplishments in bhangra and was the first person to form a bhangra group and was also the first to bring bhangra to hindi films!!

  • Well, bless his soul. He is fantastic and very elegant in his moves.

  • Manohar deepak, Your illustrious and esteemed grandfather, was a pioneer in this section of the Hindi Cinema. His Bhangra moments are so authentic that they bring tears of joy. Unfortunately, this genre of music and dance has fallen prey to crass commercialisation and has no connection with reality today. I remember he took active interest in Sunil Dutt's Ajanta Arts troupe. Our best wishes to him.

  • As aginst today's "Designer" Bhangra dancers, this is such an authentic one!Kudos to Shri.Manohar Deepak.

  • @deepaksunami

this is an honour to watch this old classic and happy to know that one of the artist is your grand father shri Manoher deepak would like to see more of him

  • @deepaksunami Ona nu meriyan salaamatan deyo =)

  • @deepaksunami Hey thats amazing, do you have any videos of your grandfather and his group? would love to check it out. His style is definately unique

  • The lyrics are socially relevant in Punjabi, sung beautifully by Rafi and Balbir.. What is amazing is the authentic Bhangra dance, by two of the performers, making it into a visual delight.

  • Socially relevant Punjabi lyics from

  • Amazing lyrics, more relevant than ever. Thank you :)

  • Absolutely FANTASTIC! I LOVE THIS SONG. The lyrics are BRILLIANT!!! Sadly, we rarely see songs like this around much- even this one is brilliant but relatively unknown and doesn't get as much recognition as it deserves. I wonder if the film is as good as this song; has anyone here seen it?
