This reminds me of my brother. He has started using drugs more and more recently.. and i think he's not gonna stop it. I have tried my best to help him but he's not taking help from anyone... im sure he will die because of them someday..
Reminds me of my uncle. He just died about two years ago. One day before his birthday. Why ? He died of all the drugs he did. He had two daughters. You would think that maybe someone would change for the sake of their two young children , but he didn't care. He died at age 29. He had a short life that was wasted on drugs.

it took my husband 30 years to get off H and crack! I was in and out of his life with help,support, praying,etc,but, he had to CHOOSE TO QUIT he had to HIT ROCK BOTTOM he had to CHOOSE TO CHANGE he had to MAKE HIS OWN LIFE WORK because nothing else did help him. since he did those things I will give him one more chance 4 marriage and if it still doesnt work I am history. I'll tell you what I did to help him: First I said to him that I was going to tell his parents, and of course he got pissed off and ignored me for like a month. But after he had gotten out of this deep trouble, he thanked me and we've never been as close friends as we are today. I dont think the drug abuse thing is the point here. What is is judgemental pricks who condem others without any understanding of what led them to thier mistakes in the first place. I dont do drugs my self but a lost life is ALWAYS a waste and maybe if there was more people out there willing to get off their pedestals and thier heads out of there own arses maybe we could help people fix thier mistakes before someone else loses a loved one.

Reminds me of my uncle. He just died about two years ago. One day before his birthday. Why ? He died of all the drugs he did. He had two daughters. You would think that maybe someone would change for the sake of their two young children , but he didn't care. He died at age 29. He had a short life that was wasted on drugs.

Thank all of you all for the kind words :) I am sorry I havent had a chance to reply, but an update: his mother and I have been attempting to get him help and tonight he wrecked while DUI and is currently unconscious in the hospital. I pray to God that he is alive, but I hope that this is his wake-up call, since he will not listen. He caused an entire road to be closed, and he broke telephone poles. The most awful thing I've ever experienced. Just to get high.

it took my husband 30 years to get off H and crack! I was in and out of his life with help,support, praying,etc,but, he had to CHOOSE TO QUIT he had to HIT ROCK BOTTOM he had to CHOOSE TO CHANGE he had to MAKE HIS OWN LIFE WORK because nothing else did help him. since he did those things I will give him one more chance 4 marriage and if it still doesnt work I am history. But if you've been married and divorced several times, then maybe it's better that you two stay sepperated. I have two friends who love each other to death. When they got married,it was like the most explosive coupling you would ever see. When it was good it was good, but it was bad, it was like fucking world war three. And for them it wasn't a drug issue at all. Neither of them were on drugs

My husband was a heroin addict for 3 yrs b4 we married then for 15 years more after that 4 months of hell with him only to find that he added to it along the way a crack pipe which he used for yrs but he stopped finally ON HIS OWN. I tried to be the support he needed, remarried him often then had to split again as I couldn't help . I'll give him 1 LAST CHANCE! May the peace of God go with me as I find out if I have his love or no-I loved him since '74.It's hard they find rock bottom but LET THEM

.......so...uh.....my mom is a pot head....so is her boyfriends....my mom even used peer pressure to make me try it because I sometimes I fly off the handle in a rage........but I quit once I moved in with my dad in fear of him finding out....but I left my little 7 year old sister there who is even worse than i am....please help what if my mom does the same thing to her? I'll tell you what I did to help him: First I said to him that I was going to tell his parents, and of course he got pissed off and ignored me for like a month. But after he had gotten out of this deep trouble, he thanked me and we've never been as close friends as we are today. Trust me, it's better to see ur closest friend in this world sober than wasted =). Hope you know what you should do about this - GL.

My ex and I broke up because he changed.. I now know why. He's been secretly addicted to cocaine and pills. He begged me not to tell anyone, and I know he will be angry. But this week I am holding an intervention. Even if he hates me for telling his family, I care too much about him to not get him the help he needs. I've watched my entire family lose their life to drugs, I refuse to be a bystander for another.
