  • When I cant get a babysitter, I gorilla glue or gorilla tape my kids to the wall. When I get home, they are right where i left them. Thanks gorilla products!

  • I cannot get gorilla glue to work. I dampen both pieces of wood and it still won't expand and form a strong bond. any ideas anyone?

  • I use gorilla glue to glue quarters to the sidewalk.

  • @DrHooligan312 HAHA! that comment totally caught me off guard, actually burst out laughing

  • can u use it for shoes and do u need water

  • what does the water do?

  • @comptonassjt Gorilla Glue is actually activated by water. Adding water to the bond ensures that you get a proper cure for your project.

  • i will never buy gorillaglue again. from the last time i used it was about 10 months,,,the bottle was hard as a rock,,,the shelve life sucks,,

  • @abbsguy I am so sorry that you were disappointed with the shelf-life of Gorilla Glue. Gorilla Glue is different than most glues, in that it it cures with moisture (even the moisture in the air.) It will cure with even the little air bubble that is in the bottle. It is imperative that you follow the storage instructions that are listed on the product to keep the glue fresh as long as possible. Before capping the bottle, squeeze all of the air out of the bottle then put the lid on tight.

  • great tips... anymore please?

  • can it hold plastic together

  • would this be good to seal up a seal on my car door? Please reply quick or i'll use Sticky Ass Glue.

  • @rustlerbadass Actually neither Gorilla Glue nor Sticky Ass Glue are rated as a sealant. You will probably need to get something that is rated for that capability if you truly to seal.

  • @gorillatough1 o.. hmm ok thanks

  • @rustlerbadass Use 3M Weatherstrip Adhesive. Works great for seals and rubber to metal.

  • @tyrantworm ok thanks

  • It's very versatile. I recently sealed a crack in my birdbath with Gorilla Glue. The good news is, it hasn't leaked since. The bad news was, it took 1/4 pint of paint-thinner to unglue my fingers from my gloves, from each other and from the birdbath. LOL!

  • is it there to stay?

  • "But when it set's...IT'S THERE TO STAY!' :)

  • Im going to use Gorilla glue for the first time to bond my Ignition switch lever back together- Don't ask me how the hell it broke because I have no idea but the key will turn the motor on but not off!!! Don't let me down Gorilla Glue!! -TX

  • can gorilla glue bond together resin

  • @Blondesarecute417 Yes, Gorilla Glue is great at bonding a lot of resins (plastics) together. However because of the oil content in some plastics (really only polypropylene and polyethylene) it can be hit or miss. Most glues have this same problem-- look for a specialty "plastic welder" type product if you want to glue these soft, oily plastics together.

  • how long does it take to set?

  • @zidlickyfan1 Gorilla Glue will be fully cured in 24 hours, but can be unclamped in just 60 minutes.

  • @gorillatough1 so i can use it on my remote control airplane right?

  • @zidlickyfan1 I'm guessing that your airplane is made of wood and foam. If that is the case, then yes it should work very well for you! Don't forget to Damp, Glue, then Clamp when you use Gorilla Glue.

  • does it work on plastic?

  • @itsjustfreakingjosh Gorilla Glue is great on most anything-- wood, stone, metal, glass, foam, etc. However because of the oil content in some plastics (really only polypropylene and polyethylene plastics) it can be hit or miss. Most glues have this same problem-- look for a specialty "plastic welder" type product if you want to glue these soft, oily plastics together.

  • Now this is a corner of a house, apply a little glue spray it, clamp it and its their to stay.

  • I want to make a Wallet made out of Gorilla Tape.

  • @petris112 Stay tuned-- we have a video coming up that shows you how!!

  • why do you mist it?

  • @bobbysam232 Gorilla Glue is unlike many glues and cures with moisture! For the best bond Gorilla Glue should be used by spraying or wiping the surface of the project first with water. And remember Gorilla Glue expands 3-4 times as it cures-- so a little goes a long way! Good luck with your project.

  • gorilla glue is the best glue i have ever used, i glued a sonic hammer, from my axis drum pedal, that was the best plastic-metal bond i've ever seen, and i love that gorilla on the sticker

  • so is gorrilla tape just like duct tape.

  • @neyeseek Gorilla Tape is a duct tape... just tougher, stickier, and better than the competition. Gorilla Tape has twice the adhesive which allows it to stick to rough and uneven surfaces like brick, concrete and stucco. It also has a very tough fabric that stays strong and holds tight long after application.

  • This stuff is NOT fast drying

  • @SpykeZ0129 You are absolutely right Gorilla Glue is not fast drying (60 min. clamp time). However there are other Gorilla options if you are looking for a faster set time. Gorilla Glue Dries White, 2X faster is still a polyurethane like the original Gorilla Glue but with a clamp time of 30 minutes. Gorilla Epoxy is great with a 5 minute set time. And Gorilla Super Glue is the fastest yet with a 30-60 second dry time! They are all great options for a myriad of projects.

  • is the best kind of gorilla glue the epoxy brand

  • @KevinWCuts Thanks for the kudos Kevin!

  • I love projects that require this.

    It is so fun.

    But wear gloves seriously.

  • Whoa. The bottle clearly says "wear gloves." Come on, guys.

  • I got the gorrilla wood glue, but it doesnt seen to hold as well as this D: Should I return it and get some of this for better wood fixes?

  • just glue your whole house together

  • best glue ever.

  • its inexpensive industrial strength glue

  • i love gorilla glue. thanks.

  • very helpful, thanks!
