  • I heard the guys in the locker room that day that sat there and watched him die were the same guys he stiffed in the ring on purpose and made them generally look bad. No excuse for murder though, or watching it happen

  • Wow, this is quite a find. All these years, I thought this guy was some maniac with Tourette syndrome. What a wake up! :)

  • A mans man

  • He seems like a nice guy. I remember him so well when i was 15 he was here in Australia

  • FANTASTIC.....AS A KID I WATCHED DICK THE BRUISER AND BRODT FIGHT OVER TNE MONICKER BRUISER TEXAS DEATH MATCH GALORE....RIP BRODY

  • I thought this guy was a barbarian bully. He should have been running the show from a desk

  • Only the best die young!

  • Another icon that should be inducted into the HALL OF FAME. Could've given Vince a run for his money were he alive. Thanks Goodish, you're not forgotten...

  • @TheVirajster I agree!

  • I miss when wrestling was protected like this. It's more and more of a side show every week.

  • rev durings his wrestling career in ring he was a heck of a producer of wrestling. Its a shame the policia down in puerto rico didnt do anything to bring his killer to justice. There was a cover up wrestlers willing to testify were either never contacted or were but supoenas were only received after the hearings occured of all the deaths of professional wrestlers in my life brodys rudes magnum ta and curt henning hit me the worst of all

  • @thebittermonk ........errr....hate to break it to ya but Magnum TA's kinda still alive & stuff...

  • @FLIK510 alive and doing fairly well...

  • "This" is why promoters found him "difficult" - he had a brain....... Gimmie a break. HE knew the biz inside and out. Long Live Frank (Bruiser brody, King Kong Brody) Goodish and God punish those who murdered him and have covered up his death for 20 years!

  • i love how Apter tiptoes around asking kayfabe questions in this interview....... Brody answers in a masterful way

  • He makes a great point about live wrestling > wrestling on TV.

It's a pity more of the WWE marks don't support independent wrestling instead of giving their money to a company in which "the customer is always wrong" (TM Jim Cornette).

  • Very articulate man. Kind of reminds me of Mick Foley as far as intelligence goes. As far as their wrestling skills, Brody was ten times the entertainer that Foley is. Damn shame he died. He would have made an excellent booker.

  • One Of My Idols

    R.I.P.

  • alot of good people die young

  • This sounds like Bill Apter doing the interview.

  • this guy was smart, he was thinking well pass just wrestling, unlike most rappers, basketball players and so-on, thanks for posting this, this shows he has brains

  • This isn't Meltzer.

  • Brody was very intelligent. Too bad that he's gone. After his in-ring career ended, he could have been a heck of a producer for wrestling.

  • his in ring career didntend, he was killed backstage at a event in puerto rico

  • Oh, I remember. It was back in 1988. It was at a World Wrestling Council show. If memory serves me, he was killed by Invader I (?), Jose Gonzalez? I was 17 years old. Adrian Adonis aka Keith Franke died the same year.

  • @RevDarkehorse

ask the colones (carlito and primo) who killed Brody, pretty sure they will have an idea.

  • @MPireMallDOTnet Jose gonzalez stabbed brody, and 20 wrestlers in the locker room stood by and did nothing, coming and going from their matches the show went on, while brody bled out on the floor for two hours. gonzalez was found not guilty by self defense because the wrestlers who witnessed the stabbing wouldn't talk like, tony atlas, dutch mantel, savio vega.

  • @WyndenRayne yeh, the reference to the colones (colognes?) is that isn't Jose their uncle or something?

  • @MPireMallDOTnet Yep. Brody was flat out murdered in PR and covered up ever since. Fuckin horid.

  • @RevDarkehorse With his intellect he could've had his own company and kept Vince and his idiots on their toes.

  • it doesnt sound like meltzer, but i know that meltzer and brody were friends

  • R

    I

    P

  • Is this a young Dave Meltzer interviewing B.B ?

  • I don't think so, but I am curious as to who it could be. I believe him and Meltzer were friends, so who knows.
