Bioshock? Idk......... And im getting sick of everyone saying cod sucks after cod4! I mean cod is probably the most successful fps. I for one love cod, you can even call me a fan boy but the fact still stands that no matter what cod, they are all great games and I cant wait to see what the next one will be.

@Lostprophetzzz killstreak vehicles don't count. COD has used the same game engine with little tweaks for the last 4 games. Bf3 brings a brand new engine. Which game you prefer is your preference, but there's no question of which developer spends more time and money between releases.

BF3 at launch was one of the glitchiest big budget games ever made...

Dice spent far too much time on visuals and not enough on the game itself...

COD has far higher production values...

the soundtrack, story writing, acting, pacing, and presentation (outside of visuals) are FAR better than BF

You completely misunderstood my point about prone. I said it was in all the original bf games up until bc2 because dice thought it lead to camping and unfair gameplay, but later decided to bring it back in bf3, so don't pretend they stole the idea from cod.

Your prone thing is wrong too bf had prone long ago, they removed it because of abuse in bc2. Also people who play BF don't care about the campaign. Not that cods campaign is any good either. Its about online, if you want a good campaign, play half life...

because there are factors in the way of online that can't be helped...

like the servers becoming ghost-towns later down the line...or connectivity problems...

MW3 stands up offline due to splitscreen and a GOOD CAMPAIGN...

BF3 without an internet connnection is WORTHLESS...

BC2 never had prone so how could it be abused? BC1 didn't even have it...

and prone is still abused now so that's obviously not the reason...

last i checked the only real difference between BF bad company 1 and bf3 is the ability to pilot jets and the graphics.... the destruction was only just refined and everything else is exactly the same....

also Veteran on COD is far more challenging than BF3 on hard....

MW3 has tighter AI and far tighter Singleplayer scripting, no cheap deaths,,, when you die it's YOUR fault in COD....

crysis I agree, but far cry isn't really an fps. It's more of an fph (first person hiking game) with brief , intermittent gunfights. But mostly it involves walking around the huge map and not being able to find anyone.

Call of duty killed itself with Modern Warefare 2. They are dragging this crap out the same way they did with the WW2 run. Going to drag it to far. Halo on the other hand...yeah..SUCKS. In CoD gun physics suck,no balance (overpowered weapons:grenade launcher,crossbow),easy kills through kill streaks which don't require skill (lowers skill cap greatly), anti-teamplay (run and gun on your own is better for gaining ranks), rank system which don't belongs in an fps, not tactical, one of the worst community's (which is a reflection of the game)...

What you perceive as a good game may not be what others do. Sure I get annoyed by the CoD community as well, but as a member of the fps community in general, I must say that the CoD games are some of my favorites still. You know it's not realistic, it's not made to be, games are made for fun. It really comes down to if you enjoy it. Which I do :D
