That looks like a Jackson Kelly bass but theirs no Jackson logo.. and I think the reason why Dave looks kind of homo these days is from being in his wife's gothic S&M bondage band
Also at one point you can hear trey writing God of Emptiness a song that wouldn't be released until 2 albums later if the date on this video is correct!
storage spaces are perfect spots to rehearse if you and your band dont have a suitable basement, garage, etc. to play in. sure you have to pay, but its rad if you are young. it feels like you have your own personal studio where you can party and jam.
I remember the day I bought the Covenant album, I was 12 or 13.....I spent a lot of my youth in FL, so M/A dug their claws in deep from an early age n started corrupting my brain. It was fanfuckintastic to see this vid. Thanks for the UL. ;)~

@HeyYoKillEmo agreed... how the mighty have fallen. i keep playing the "a,b,c" albums and wonder: what the hell happened? even still, i think half of 'formulas... ' and most of 'gateways... ' was the last decent stuff they did. oh well, maybe... MAYBE the next one will make me a believer again (but i ain't holding my breath).
@SecretGerms considering albums F and G I actually had some expectations for H...I met Trey when they toured for that album and let him know my disappointment...hahah, everyone grouped around him was engaged in awkward silence while I attempted to talk about the old good albums. Then I just gave up and went to get a beer haha.
@popcornboi22 Its honestly not that bad. I think what the problem a lot of fans are having is that MA took a big ass step in another direction and people couldnt get into it because all there previous stuff is straight up death metal.
Damn, around 30 min later and I am already failing. I just put on Anorexorcist and help me im hungry by Nirvana. ;( Give me some good metal songs? Demos, rehersals, rarities or B-sides?
@ThEmAsTuRbAtEr1 Yeah Nirvana was great. Too bad after their hiatus they had to change their name to Nirvana 2002 because some faggot pop rock band took their name.
@MisticWizzard It's a place called absolute storage down in Tampa. Everyone practiced there, Morbid, Cannibal, Deicide, Monstrosity, Immolation, just to name a few.
@jaaguor1 Why yes I have....personally, I thought Thresholds was the superior album, but The Key was pretty goddamn good. But is that really Mike Browning? From what I gather, there was somewhat of a beef between him and Trey.
@BodomChildBreeder Are you asking if the guy with the long blonde hair there is Vincent? If so, yes, that is most definitely him. He looks like a different person because after he left the band back in the mid 90s he joined his wifes lame ass band called Genitorturers and turned into the big old glam/goth fag he is now. He was pure metal before then.
@groveback1 richard brunelle, he was in the band for a little while, but couldnt cope with their high standards and had to leave after Blessed Are The Sick. You can also see him fail in this video. Vincent has to correct him when he plays in the wrong key.
Back in the days, a lot of bands lived out and rehearsed out of their storage rooms. Chuck Schuldiner of Death lived in a storage space through much of Spiritual Healing and Human, according to interviews I read back in the 90's.
BB King was Trey's guitar teacher in the mid 80's. During the recording of Altars of madness, Trey borrowed a few riffs and solos from BB to use it on a few songs, one of the songs being "Evil Spells".
When I seen morbid angel for the altars of madness tour, I asked pete sandoval if he was gonna get a terrorizer thing going with jesse pintado and dave vincent at vocals and he said that was in the works! Oh well, I guess that will never happen now. Good thing I seen these death metal bands when they toured their first album. The bands nowadays are wannabe's!!!
man this is classic jamming/rehearsal shit. jammin out of a storage shed with half your members inside the storage garage and the other half standing outside lol great awesome stuff!
