A few weeks ago I started using a Canny Collar and we love it! Doesn't ride up into the eyes either but what I love most is that it has the attachment behind the dog, so there is absolutely no risk that you hurt the dogs neck by an unexpected movement, for instance when they would bolt out of fear/happiness etc.
The halti rubbed on JAke's eyes too so I switched it. He doesn't pull without it but he is supposed to be muzzled in public, so this backs up as a muzzle substitute.
