@MultiMrEgo Soccer in Australia got yourselves a grass roots problem. Soccer in Australia is played with a lot of rascist attitudes. Its how the kids get taught. Not long ago I went to watch my 11 year old nephew play a soccer game and some adults were behind the goal keeper sledging him.
@RealAustralia1 They were speaking some foreign language but the sledges to the 11 year old were in English. They were laughing at him and yelling Miss It. They were swearing at him and calling him rascist names. They never let up. It was real bad sporting behaviour.
I got told this is normal. And soccer people defend this behaviouir by calling it passion. As if that is a good excuse for rascism.
@ouggnoy I think this particular sequence displays a high tempo that didnt last very long due to the heat and humidity factors of playing in Singapore. Previous to this, the Australians had been doing a lot of ball chasing, and this was a moment where they took the game up to the other-wise dominating European Trialist Team.
Australia will kick off its World Cup campaign against Germany on the 13th of June, followed by Ghana on the 19th. Our final group game will then be against Serbia on the 23rd of June, in what could prove to be a do or die clash.
very good keeping at 1:04
