Wow....this is sooo fantastic. Cant stop listening to it. Old school music is where the real talent lies...unlike today's computer generated techno/noise...Well done Alemayehu Eshete...
great job badum's band from north ouest france they are so nice they love ethio music (bretigne ) one of france region tnx alemayehu eshete artiste antu aybalm god bless ethiopia
i've seen him sing this song with bunches of other local bands, and he never seemd to get deep in to his music like this. simeply the BAND is amaizing!!!!!!!
it's so AWESOME to see all of this. Gash Alex is so awesome!! he is like floating on air!! u can tell how much he love to sing. This band is so unbelievably GOOD!! I need their digits! lol.
I aplaud these musicians who have captured the right FEEL of the Ethiopian music. I have seen many other non-natives trying play the Interlocking Ethiopian 6/8 rythm, but not all have mastered it as the Badumes. Great Job...can't wait to see them live...if anyone can tell me how I can get thier tour schedule I would appriciate it...Thanks!!!
Love it! We need a revival of great Ethiopian music. Not the depressing Mengistu era synthetizer (or however you spell it) mess that we're dealing with now.
You know what an artist is by profession a passionate person and not some flat faced bureaucrat that bores you at first sight. Let Alex express himself. You seem to forget that after all the band is playing his performance and you unconscious tail wagging to ferenje is coming out. What have you accomplished like Alex. Let us ask what have we done instead of splitting hair about his self expression. Just relax and enjoy. Negativism is losers' passion!
Alemyehu is still Alemayehu..and the Group playing this ethio 70's song IS REALLY GREAT..I am listening to this sog after...such a long time.. Thank you very much for posting -Alemyehu Sei veramente grande..ancora oggi sei veramente GRANDE GRANDE !!
I cant believe this! I have heared other forign bands trying to play Ethiopian music, they try ok, but they find it hard to find the rught groove and feel for it....man, these guys are playing it like the natives. I have no words to express my admiaration!!! Teh timing on the drums and the adn all the rythm section is right on the money. The Saxs are well projecting the authentic Ethiopian melody. Keep it up!!!
