and these lion and tiger worshippers because of their INSANE crazed blindness for their precious big cat think a bear like this wouldn't completely ANIHILATE a tiger/lion in under a minute. i like big fats too but a bear this size(and they get even bigger)would kill a big cat with ease,i'm a realist.

There is NO animal that can defeat a grizzly . The only known animal to have killed a Grizzly was a male Buffalo , they got in a fight , the buffalo out weighed the Grizzly by at least 500 pounds , if not more . The Buff won , but lions , tigers.....no chance !

@bahashawa1 this is a kodiak...the biggest known kodiaks were about 2000pounds (same as ice bear) ...barts weight was 1320 pounds...so there were bigger ones....unimaginable

@Karudu Yep , the Kodiaks were bigger , eating fish , salmon made them bigger , I met Bart back in 1995 , he weighed 1650 pounds at the time , he lost weight after getting sick . Bart was as big as a car , and alot more fun . His head was bigger than half my body , and I'm 6' tall , 240 pounds . His back feet were so big it was unbelievable . He was soooooo smart too .

@Karudu Yes, on average polar bears are bigger than any other land carnivore. You probably wouldnt find one in the wild bigger than bart though. domesticated/captive carnivores are always bigger than wild ones because they are fed on a regular basis.

imagine how fast Bart could have innocently squashed / killed Doug by playfully rolling over on him or playfully biting him a bit too hard.... its amazing that a "wild" animal was that gentle for 23 full years.... timothy treadwell said it best, "bears are like humans, some are the calmest most gentle bears, and others are just plain mean and refuse to be your friend"
