I'm still unsure about Baldwin, especially in terms of his motives and allegiances, and yet, the two might not even be connected, or worth connecting, and so, as Baldwin would have wanted, rather than pigeonhole him, let me try to take him as he is, or at least, as much as I am competent to interpret of him.
