  • I have to say this: There is beautiful music here. I sense there is much more inside-not yet manifest. You must liberate yourself from "rhythm" and the percieved bounds of tonality-not to say atonal. Liberate yourself totally and let it come out. That said, there's quite a lot here, and a vivid musical (artistic) imagination. Thank you

  • @realself1 Thank you very very much. I could read only today this excellent comment. I feel your´re right. I must, I need to be free. Perhaps I´m still at the great influence of Scriabin and others. But, I´ll try to improve. Thank you so much, friend!

  • where can i hear the rest :)

  • @WelcomeToZomboCom Hello, I´ll try to post all parts later. Thank you so much for the interest ! it´s glad to hear these positive comments.

  • I enjoy this movement every time I listen to it.

It's just beautiful, and I love the relentlessness in the harmonies and the tonality in the ending.

    Fantastic!

  • WOW!!! Could we have the score??

  • very vivid finale, starting from 1:22

  • I really like the last chords :]

  • Five stars

  • Beautifual and thought provoking. I'll be back to listen many times!!!

  • Matterdot is an IDIOT! His comments about my composition just prove he doesn´t understand a a bit about music. So, I don´t intend to discuss music with ignorants. I have many things to do, much music to write. I´ll not lose my precious time talking with people who can´t write a single musical note, but think they can criticise other people´s works and ideas.

  • very tasteful composition. really, my respects. Unity of style, inspired thematic ideas, catchy rhythm....i enjoyed it a lot. how can i listen to the previous movements?

  • Was that the Petrushka chord on the arpeggio up at the end? The whole thing is really cool...wish I could play like this...

  • Amazing! This is definitely past impressionism, but it sounds so sweet and lovely and just perfect. Such a lively theme and definitely with a character of its own...not that comparable with others really...i'm impressed!

  • Better than Sorabji! Comparing to his sonatas though. Not his Patisches.

  • Could you show the sheetmusic of this piece? I'm interested in taking a look at it, it's very pianistic writing and would like to learn from it.

  • you have a powerful brain

  • very good!! you should also watch the only two videos of the American Composer Peter Mennin, they are amazing

  • awesome!

  • Very Good. I'm study in Conservatoire .

Someday I would like to play.

  • wow good theme , best.

I also compose some music of those style

but frequently i am poor to use a good video and good piano

  • amazing....hmm not convinced with the pics hehe just beautyfull.

  • Hi, Dihelson. I finally found you here. Your work is impressive, as always. I´d prefer your first sonata to this one. please, upload them all to here. If you allow me a comment, your work is deep, creative and serious, and I notice that you are becoming better of ever new composition. Keep up the good work. Could you send me sheet music for the first sonata? I´d love to learn it for my own concertos. Regards, your friend Fred.

  • Yeah I don't hear any Sorabji here either- to tonal and consonnant. Also don't really hear any Rzewski =/ Sounds a lot more like earlier Russian Futurist; in fact, it has an UNCANNY resemblance to some passages from the Roslavets Sonata No. 5/Scriabin Etude Op. 65 No. 1

  • Hello, pal, I´d really like to hear some of your own compositions in order to qualify them, because some people has a tendency to criticize what they themselves cannot do at least something inferior. I´d REALLY love to hear you ( rs ). Well, anyway, if my work has some resemblance of Scriabin, that´s nice, because I love Scriabin, indeed. Thanks for the nice compliment. It´s kinda difficult to compose like the early composers. It´s better than those thousands who compose childish songs...

  • Ok. What's your email address?

  • Hello again. Thanks for your interest. If you want to contact me, please access my website, there you´ll find my email, or you can reach me by using private messages on my channel at youtube. I cannot share my email address here directly, in order to avoid spam. I await your contact. And BTW, what´s your real name ? Best regards.

  • Hello again. My interest? Where's your website? Why would I give you my name if you won't give me your email address? Seems a little unfair :O Anyway, I should warn you, my music isn't outdated (New Complexity), so you may not like it. I also neglected to blatantly plagiarize Roslavets, so you might not "get it" ;)

  • my compliments! are you influenced also by charles ives ? giorgio

  • Hi, Giorgio. thanks for the compliments. Chales Ives is a composer which I don´t know his works so well. But since I´m a deep fan of the late 19th century and early 20th century composers, there may have some influence as well. I´m most Scriabin fan. All the best.

  • great!! I love Scriabin! expecially the late sonatas (8,9,10th). I am not a pianist but I've recorded stuff for piano. Can you tell me the composers wich inspired you most ? I'd suggest you to listen to: the concord sonata by charles ives. Do you like Boulez - the piano work ? Again, my compliments!

  • Hi, Giorgio, I´ll try to listen to your recomendations about Ives. The other composers which I like most are some Jazz musicians like Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, but on the classical side, I like Debussy, Stravinsky, Shostakovich, Liszt, Godowsky, Bartok, Ravel, Scriabin, Boulez, Sorabji, Rachmaninov, Fauré ( listen a waltz I made for him )... and many others. Thanks!

  • which elements seems sorabjian to you ?

  • I think it is good, though I feel there are too many moments where I feel it sounds like a collage. While I don't think I am very qualified to judge someone who's musicianship far outweighs my own, I must say that I think simply taking certain elements from past music and placing them in a new context doesn't speak to me. I think you should follow only what's inside you.

  • Not bad, but it would have been better without the cheesy art stills.

  • Hello, Elephantine, Thanks for your comments. Indeed I need some suggestions in order to improve it. The reason I choose the slideshow is the fact that I don´t have a camcorder, not even a webcam ( I just purchased one, but didn´t arrived yet ). So, I decided to record audio on my studio and fill the video with some nice pictures. If you have some good suggestions I´d like to hear, ok? Indeed, I´d like to improve it. That´s why I ask you.

    Thanks

  • Hello, Fellows!

This is another of my musical pictures. There´s a complete description about the each and it´s reasons. Please, read it before you begin criticizing. BTW, to all the guys who like to criticize other people´s work, I´d like to hear their compositions first, and judge by myself in complete silence. Ajajajaajajaj

Well, I hope you enjoy it!

    Thanks...

    Dihelson Mendonça
