  • where can i get one of those things? they be purty 83

  • from 0:20 to 0:29 that wave is really sexual

  • OH MY TRIPPY!

  • man after watching music waveforms for the last 10-15 min I totally understand why humans are so attracted to music. Line voltage waveforms are boring as hell compared to these. Quite amazing. I now know how milkdrop and other visualization programs work.

  • reminds me of the air and space museums demonstration in D.C.

  • beautiful. Thanks ;-)

  • good

  • Reminds me of images of exploding stars.

  • Some parts of the wave form like a cone shaped speaker.

  • I had this story when I was A kid about some aline dude who came to earth and controlled his space ship with a sythesizer. I see it could be possible to do if the sound waves triggered plasma waves in fuel ignition sequences. Navigate the stars with music.

  • nope, not possible, atall

  • what a terrible idea

  • sounds like the movie "wave twisters"

  • i like this but would be nice to see with the sound its representing more clearly audible? , or even a variety of sounds. cheers

  • Anyone else notice that it looks like the waveforms are getting it on? :D

    pass it on

  • How did you done that??

  • cool

  • Pretty cool; it's interesting to observe the phase and amplitude components of music via instruments present in music and tones. 5/5

  • Oh yes minichuaman. You are so right. Because, I mean, what's more feasible than god coming down from the heavens and taking a rib from the one man he initially created to make a woman. Sure. That sounds much more believable than evolution...

  • niiiiiiiiiiice°°°°°°!!!!!!!°°°°°°°°°

  • the waveform at 0.53 minutes looks like some sort of RF coil winding-amazing

  • NICE!!!!

  • Beautiful :)Thank you :)

  • Thanks Thanks And Thanks so much for posting this.... Make more please, I'll post more happy comments!

  • wow i have to try this with my oscope

  • Try using a succession of fibonacci numbers for frequency, I am interested to see the corresponding pattern

  • yeah that'd be cool

  • WOW very nice

  • Like drugs without as many side effects. You could charge people to watch the show on a huge projector with surround sound. *****/*****

  • Thank you for this vid. I was just really wanting to see a 4-D rendition of some resonance.

  • Some of us express our feelings through waves.

    Sometimes you can visualize waves.

So can we see emotion in waves?

  • pass that joint :)

  • Make sure you have Vitamin C present.

ACID IS HARD ON THE BRAIN !

  • the answer is yes, we can. wave are emotions, since emotions are waves also. every thought or feeling we have is a specific electrical impulse, or a wave that can be represented mathematically with a series of numbers, so in fact, our emotions are within us, and we can create them outside of our bodies as well in other waves rarefacting and compressing the air.

  • that makes the fact that we all came from evolution sound impossible.

    (and thats a good thing)

  • yeah i laugh about this big-bang tehory

  • that oscilloscope reminds me of those parasites that get in those snails eyes.. its on youtbue.. fucken disturbing

  • I've seen it for about 10 seconds... and I couldn't take it anymore.

Also I have a phobia to snails, they scare the shit out of me.

  • I just went and checked out those parasites you mentioned........and nearly lost my lunch!!!lol

  • those parasites scare me

  • Genial, si quieres ver algo parecido pero directo de la luz del sol, mira mis videos.

  • Is this XY visualization, isn't it? Cool effects ;)

  • looks like intercourse!...i'm just saying....cool vid

  • lol...true

  • I need to get a scope to work on my Juno 106 synth...would you recommend the same oscilloscope you are using? I need to look at basic pulse widths, sine waves and so on. Thanks.

  • no, i would recommend getting any low speed analog scope off ebay, mine is pretty crappy in fact, i just own it because i got it for free, i would have never picked this specific one out for purchase given the choice

  • cool, thanks for the tip. I found a nice (I think) Tektronix Model 475 dual trace scope on Craigslist $100 and apparently in good functional and physically good condition with 2 probes and manuals. I used to use the techtronics in a previous job and they were really nice.

  • cool and mesmerizing.....if that's the way to spell it

  • yeah ..i like it..

    reduce to the max !

  • Ah, thought it was something like that. You might want to look at parabola mathematics, it's related to lissajous. It might be the one your looking for.

  • Basically what you were looking at was the signal plotted over an x/y axis - displaying a deflection of volts/frequency over time - X is draw time, Y is frequency (pitch) and filter (band attenuation). They can also be used to view the phase difference between two different voltages, etc... The ghosting is called a storage tube; This is needed to view the signal info that you are wanting to study.

Hang on, why the hell do you need this for nunchaku training?

  • Pretty good

    thanks

  • It looks like some kind of fascinating under-water creature.

  • Finally, someone else with an O-Scope! Schweet!!!! AAA+++

  • how is it all 3d n shit?

  • It's not! Seriously, your brain adds the away and toward info itself. All you see here is just up/down/left/right!!

  • Cool! But... I'm a n00b at oscilloscopes, but how is the 3D form made? In my experience I measured a signal in time, so a plain 2D form.

What's on the shown on the different axis?

  • What kind of scope was used?

  • it was actually a really cheap-o Madell QK5020 that my boss was getting rid of so i got it for free!

  • Is the osciloscope connected to an instrument? because I've osciloscopes that are places next to the speaker

  • what is that?

  • so cool

  • VET!

  • MAar wat de fuck is het precies?

  • absolutely amazin!

  • Very cool

  • Maan the 3D wave looks just too fucking awsome!

  • Can you describe the setup? What was going into the "X" and what was into the "Y" on the O'scope?

  • Well, I think one input was on the Output of the synth and the other input was hooked up to the output of the signal after processing it through a phaser and digital delay so basically i think we are seeing the phase difference between a clean signal & processed version of the original

  • very cool, where can I get one?

  • I got it free from work, they were throwing it away because it only goes up to like 2MHz or something which is basically only useful for slow moving analog (aka audio).

You can pick them up dirt cheap on ebay, just search for "oscilloscope" and pick up a "BNC to RCA" connector and a "RCA to mono Quarter-inch" cables at Radioshack. Then twiddle the knobs till you get something pretty!

  • i wonder, could you project it?
