  • Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

  • Does anyone else think that Bebe Daniels and Bebe Neuwirth look very alike?

  • She was really really pretty!

  • Thank you for this wonderful tribute. I remember Bebe Daniels from Life with the Lyons on BBC as a kid in the 50s but it's only recently that I've discovered just what a magical movie star she was, after watching movies like 42nd Street. I can't wait to see the Lloyd shorts and her other movies.

  • Yes, I fondly remember 'Life with the Lyons' on BBC radio with Richard, Barbara and Aggie their Scottish housekeeper (played by Molly Weir). Ah, the good old days!

  • @aldiboronti i heard the show on the shortwave general overseas service of the bbc in the 1950's. ROGHARM age 64 living in new york city then and now.

  • that was gorgeous with so much elegance, i love her, her voice is so eloquent, and her beauty is more defying then audrey hepburn (in my opinion, no intention of offending anybody) thanks for making and organzing this video in such a creative nature

    xoxo-Emily

  • Hi Baz, There was no one else quite like Bebe Daniels! One of the Silent Flappers and with the arrival of sound Bebe had a beautiful voice and became a major musical star, she also did comedy and drama. Bebe and her husband (Ben Lyon) became a famous radio team for the BBC in London England. Fondly, Hedda

Trivia: Bebe played the first Dorothy in 1910 "The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz".

  • Wow...

    She is absolutely gorgeous.

    A beautiful tribute!

the stage presence and facial expressions so needed before sound was developed.Loved her style of hats also very elegant. She appeared

to be a very versitile woman, with remarkable good looks that brought beauty to a exotic
