pull the central gearbox out (with the two spur gears) and make sure the grub screw from the smaller spur is tight on the shaft. I got my FW-05 used and the grub screw was missing and it would not change gears at all! did you fix it btw?
hey man i know y it wont change gear u need to ajust the gears where the central gearbox is u need to dismantle it then u will see a allen key groove then u ajust it
haha i used to always think the same coz i got/had the same car (it got ran over but im getting a new 1 soon) but then i bought a hobao hyper 7, took it to a race and asked a person from hobby habit (S.A) and its for the lap counter/timer
yep mine did that aswell but it worked fine after i put a new gascuit on the manifold and also there is a small alan key bold in the gearbox that decides what rpms 2nd gear comes in at. when u fix it it'll be great mine changes in like 3 feet at full throtal
i have the same car, mine did exactly the same thing, it adjusted the gear timing because i think mine seized up from lack of use. put some oil in the gears maybe that will help.
maybe your screw on your 2nd gearwhich makes you shifting slower or faster is set to change real fast so play around with that and see how u go man ?
