  • good song.

  • Been Doing trucking for 30 years loved it when I started still love it now Keep up the great work!

  • I'm not really into CW music, and I'm not really into trucks, but this was pretty cool. Thanks.

  • wat a dumbass anyone who drives or should i say knows how to drive know you dont press the clutch when your shifting

  • ~Now this is FanTasTic Talented AWESOMENESS !!

    "Thumbs Forever UP Forever"~!!!

    ☆★☆★☆★☆INFINITE☆★☆★☆★☆STARS☆★☆★☆★☆TO solrecordstv.

  • ooida sticker

  • Andy379Pete um have you ever been behind the wheel of a semi? some drivers float some double clutch and other slam the clutch. we all drive different. and who gives a shit if its a 10 speed. at least its not a automatic. haha. like _eejoker1 said your a poser

  • I never double clutch.

  • VERY NICE

  • i was top dog as conn west wooooooooooooooot miss them

  • Who else seen the export CB and the linear amp! haha

  • guys calm down just cause its not the best 379 dose not mean nothing and i was taught to float the gears but if he wants to double clutch so be it. that dose not mean you have to. just be glade he use a great truck cause you cant go wrong with a pete

  • @zapper409 Can't go wrong with a Mack or old-school Kenworth either. I still think about getting my CDL, would help on a resume. I personally like the old 1970s R-model Macks.

  • Hes ah driver and his job is hall that load, he sings low and funky, like an old Bullfrog.

  • Andy379Pete is a poser if I've ever seen one. Cause if people prefer to double clutch, that doesn't make them suck? The old timers had to double clutch in their trucks? Damn near impossible to float a quad box? Does that make them suck? And what's wrong with a ten speed?? Don't know about you but I've driven some nice ten speeds that pulled like no tomorrow. Lesson is dickweed, if your a real driver, keep your mouth shut, and keep your eyes on the road and drive. Don't try and look cool

  • @Teejoker1 Well said!

  • am 15 and i love this song and i cant wate to be on the open road :)

  • 15 Dislikes:4 wheelers who cut off Trucks, and park eternally under the wheels of a pro.Keep on Truckin.Blood washes off Aluminum.

  • what the world man keep ya foot off that clutch and flotem

  • likes da truckin jam dude,...been jammin gears 40 years,an likes a good travel'in tune fer da road!! keep'um come'in an keep it tween da ditches driiiiVer!! 10 dash 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cause lil crazy da carolina trash'in master said so!

  • A real trucker wouldnt treat a 379 like that, or double clutch, or own a piece of shit 10 speed. Take pride in what you drive, poor pete your drivin, no offense dude but you just seem like some rookie looking for your 15 minutes of fame, this is trucking not a popularity contest.

  • My husband has been a trucker for 16 years ..... and this music is what keeps him goin ! Thank you !

  • @cntrygrl450 thank ya! good to meet you cntrygrl450!

  • my dad has been trucking for 30 years, my uncle for 45 years and my brother for 10 years and my grandpa spent his whole life trucking.. all of them love this music..

  • dude, this is awesome and im a trucker too...if i ever see you moon walk again...i will find you...i will hurt you..and then i will walk away smilin!!

  • LOL who double clutches? Floating gears is not easier?

  • @440sac i guess he wants to go faster in twice the time lol

  • @Rockwell317 got to agree with supertruckerjay. trucks don;t need battle scars to be worked...thats just a driver that doesn;t take pride in his equipment

  • @1helluva86 thank you buddy, nice to see someone else who takes pride in their rig! be safe out there!

  • Out fucken standing

  • All ya'll rock... Keep it safe out there on the road drivers... Maybe we'll get thihs video on CMT or something someday! THANKS FOR SUPPORTING PURE GRAIN, AND BRINGIN THE GOODs Truckers keepin it Rollin !

  • thats kool dude,so much better than stuff on mtv

  • Great Job Brother... song represents all of the American truck drivers! Keep On Truckin'!

  • @supertrucker u gotta realize everybody is different and not everybody is gonna look at things the same way. Some people look at their trucks with pride and joy and want them to look their best...which I'm guessing is someone like you. But then there's other people that look at their rides as simply a piece of equipment they use to make their living....and they rather spend their extra money on their families or homes or what not. The condition of ones truck isn't what makes a driver....it's wh

  • @Matthew11283 while a somewhat agree, if a driver doesnt care about his equipment, then dont buy a Pete, buy a Columbia or something else shitty. Petes should be respected as a truck not abused, but sadly I see it far too often. My truck is in amazing shape for being a 1997, but the two trucks I dont personally use have seen better days, just because every dipshit I hire doesnt know how to take care of a truck. The two guys I have now working for me like the trucks as much as I do.

  • @rockwell lol well said.

  • Cool song man. Lot of truth in it that a lot of people don't understand! And for all you know it alls that's commented on here....y'all will figure it out one day. Owner operators do what they gotta do to survive...company drivers jus do what they told....learn to truck or shut the hell up

  • That's some bad shit right there truck driver! Coulda done some serious truckin' with you about 20 years ago.....Yea-tin!

  • Sweet song. Nice to see that you don't fit into that new breed of trucker. For those out there listening to this. Strung out from the cost of fuel, price of freight, and unrealistic delivery windows keep on trucking! Hopefully you can go vertical a couple hours before its time to drive again. And for those of you who don't worry about those kind of things. Shut your mouth and stay to the right. The real drivers have work to do.

  • She gave me a woody, Nice blue. Hoot approves.

  • Digging the Dobro!

  • wherebouts in ohio yall based?

  • I regularly listening this song, really good

  • ahhh the pete 379 worlds best rig :D

  • Great tune, cool vid! Takes me back to the good ole dayz of truck'in.........Ride on........

  • Most of the comments talk about the truck being bent up maybe he had to pay a house note instead of fixing the truck its hard out there its so damn hard I often wonder if its even worth it anymore

  • thats a 379 pete my favorite of all...love it keep trucking everyone,i will graduate trucker school soon then i will be trucking

  • another good rig is a FORD LTL 9000

  • @cobra5405 good for what.. wiring problems hood hinges always breaking Ford really fucked the trucking public with that one

  • @supertrucker1968 comeing from sum1 who knows nothing of trucks ford has been the best selling truck for yrs and airplanes wat u drive i bet nothing i have a 78 f100 with 400,000 miles on it and still pulls chevy out the hole i bet u cant even change oiol ur just a fruit

  • @cobra5405 guess you know nothing about trucks.. big difference between fordf100 and a class 8 tractor naww I dunno how to change oil.. logged 2 million miles in a tractor trailer a million in my own truck as an owner operator... go drag race a chevy with your 400,000 mile ford(

( what a pile of BS that is)

  • Respond to this video... oil

  • i luv the peterbuilt my favorite trucks my dad is a truck driver hes been in every state hes driven on houver dam hes been truckin sence he was 18 and hes 42

  • good song, hmmmm bent bumper and wind fairings!!! not polished tanks and wheels maybe ya should of used a freightliner instead of an ugly pete!!

  • @wizard208243 I LOVE THE BENT BUMPER, FAIRINGS and DULL TANKS! This is a WORKING truck with battle scars, a real truck! Not one of those super flashy jewels that the owner is more worried about polishing than working. This truck is to busy hauling freight, gettin the job done!

  • @Rockwell317 A real truckers truck dont have "battle scars" because a real trucker takes care of his rig and doesnt hit shit with it. NONE of my trucks ever had "battle scars" and they were all long nose trucks. And I'm still a rookie driver with only 6 years under my belt. So if I dont hit shit, no one has a fucking excuse too.

  • @SuperTruckerJay Hey Super Trucker, 6 whole years? Lets add a few decades to that before you talk. Be proud to have no damage in 6 years. Sometimes its not what YOU hit, its what hit YOU! If you think a rig this old has battle scars because of bad driving, you truly are a rookie. Nobody chooses to hit shit! Its not just the rigs that get scarred after a lifetime on the road, its the drivers as well. They both have to be tough as nails. Real drivers change their oil, not their flashy Texas bumper

  • @Rockwell317 wow sensitive much? If something hits you its call INSURANCE. bent fairings is ONLY caused by the trailer hitting it, by either backing into a trailer thats too high(bad driver) or jackknifing(bad driver). Since you felt the need to write 3 messages I guess you really are a wannabe trucker or a loser. Do you perhaps hang out with DieselDucy? Ever hear of the Rocky Mountains? Yeah I spent a lot of time hauling loads of beer through them. Blizzards and all.

  • @SuperTruckerJay And BTW you see those pock marks on the hood, yeah the FLAT hood, probably caused by runnin thru a hail storm, something a guy with only 6 years under his belt hasn't done, at least not to that level. But again, congrats on not having hit anything. Guess your rigs only run in the sunshine.

  • @Rockwell317 Nope, my trucks have been through hell and back. It pisses me off, thats someone with "sooo many years OTR" that you are condoning a driver hitting shit. Im not talking about texas bumpers and shit, but general upkeep is not too much to ask a driver or owner operator to do. Do you even own your own truck? Son I own 3 currently and company drove many more. Yeah 6 years and own my company. What do you got? Nothing but your crybaby self. Again your just a loser. Kids these days.

  • @SuperTruckerJay You new era truckers irritate me. So soft. Not all, but most. There are "Drivers" and then there's those who just happen to posses an Articulated, Oops I'm sorry CDL (Commercial Driver's License) for you, and be able to operate a rig. You weren't around in the Articulated License days.

  • @Rockwell317 Yeah and you whiny old timers piss me off because in "your" day you drove drunk and jacked up on bennys with 3 log books. And lets see you seem to be the soft one since your getting all touchy over an internet comment. HAHAHAHA. I bet your in your 40s and live with your mom. If your as old and experienced as your saying, two words pal. GROW UP.

  • @SuperTruckerJay I'm not about to question your authority, I didn't realize you owned 3 whole trucks! In any event, not my intent to turn this into 2 internet Rambo's. My bottom line, its a great song, great vid, and a great American classic truck, a working truck. Now where the heck did I put my gift certificate to Earn Big Bucks Drive the Big Rigs Driving School? Oh yes, it must be under my bottles of bennys and stack of log books, found it! LMAO! Maybe one day I too will be a Super Trucker

  • @Rockwell317 lol I suppose we agree to disagree eh? Yeah I'm 25 and own 3 trucks, quite an accomplishment. My dad has been driving trucks for over 40 years, and he taught me everything I know. I love how everyone gets worked up over my screenname, its just a name Mr Rockwell. lol. I agree its a great song and vid.

  • @SuperTruckerJay Yeah I guess you are right, but we are allowed to disagree. 3 trucks is a VERY good accomplishment in 6 years, even more so in this economy. Keep it going! I am 41, not all that old, started in 1989 with one tractor and currently own 8 power units and 10 wagons. Like you, my dad was in the racket his whole life. IMO we are just the lucky ones and I always try to stay humble about my moderate success. Keep on Truckin Jay!

  • @Rockwell317 thanks, I currently dont own any wagons, its too hard to find ones in good condition. New ones are not worth the price to me. take it easy bud and maybe catch you down the road.

  • @SuperTruckerJay LMAO, looking back on all our posts, we are like 2 old ladies in a hall on Bingo night fightin over the red chips! LMAO Too funny! One thing most truckers share worldwide, strong will!

  • @Rockwell317 true enough, well its all good for a laugh, and really thats what life is all about aint it?

  • @SuperTruckerJay Very true Jay very true!

  • @SuperTruckerJay Like Matthew said, O/Os do what they gotta do to survive a bad economy. I'm just sayin don't assume because someones truck isn't perfect means its any less important to them then your trucks are to you. The condition of the truck is not always reflective upon the driver or his want to care for the truck. Be glad you have 3 trucks, but don't brag. Some have 3 kids they have to feed first. An O/Os single truck is more important, he don't have 2 others to fall back on for revenue

  • @SuperTruckerJay No point shinning my truck its nice but I do a lot of stick hauling out in the woods so its hard to keep clean hahaha

  • @SuperTruckerJay Sometimes dumbasses hit YOU too. (Also another reason I don't like letting anyone else drive my rig (including my own boss.)

  • @Rockwell317 That's right... get-er-dun. ;-)

  • @Rockwell317 ur a funny guy cuz 9 out of 10 show trucks work and get dirty they just bust there asses keepin it clean showing there pride in there ride not just sum nigger holdin a steering wheel

  • @NIGHTRIDER995 I take it you have a problem with African Americans driving trucks? HAHAHA Me funny guy :)

  • @Rockwell317 prolly,i hate guys that just do it for the money and cuz its easy to do......take sum fukn pride in ur ride even if ur black...

  • @NIGHTRIDER995, LMAO OK well said...I think....point is, i get your point. Although I would not say Truck Drivin is easy to do, at least not easy to do well. Truckers are hard workin people with tough jobs, no matter what color they are! Peace.

  • @Rockwell317 iv been in a loot of flashy trucks that haul gravel and dad always washed and polished the truck on Sunday's and so did a lot of people i know there not scared to use a show truck like a working truck

  • @downhillstaggyful Nothing wrong with show trucks or taking pride in your ride whatsoever. Nothing wrong with a few "battle scars" here and there either. It adds character. Especially a rig as old as the one in this vid, cut it some slack.IMO some of the best, toughest lookin trucks out there are not on the Shell Rotella calendar and never will be. There is a certain beauty in age and/or rugged looks of a plain rig steamin down the road. I like all trucks, not just the shiny ones.

  • @wizard208243 dude, just because it aint all nice dont mean it cant get the job done. that is all a trucker needs is to get the job done and get the money in his pocket. a real trucker dont really give a shit how his/her truck looks as long as it does what it needs to that is all they need. people who polish their rig, get chrome on it and shit like that have to much time on their hands and puttin money down the drain.

  • that truck has seen its days

  • just got home out of my tuck, listenin to this song makes me want to jump back in and go.

  • That cummins sounds good at the biginning.

  • I think this should be every truck drivers song cause they deal with this stuff everyday

  • Hi Chris,

So good to see you doing so well. Sure miss you guys.

Sandy (From the Tech in Beaufort) Bob's retired we are in St. Louis now you guys get this way please stop and see us:-)

  • i like the bent up cab extender

  • Cool song and video! The truck has seen it's better days indeed, but it fits the current state of trucking and the image you guys are trying to portait here. Truckers are hardworking people who don't always have the extra time or buck to spare on keeping the equipment in pristine condition, but they move the nation. If you bought it, a truck brought it!

  • Comment removed

  • Ha Chris this is Jamie your cousin angie m husband cool song and if you ever driven thru Duncan sc stop at upstate diesel and see your cuz angie she misses you!!!! Ps we will take care of your truck.

  • keep er' between the ditches

  • I've read a few comments on here about the shape the truck in the video is. To be honest I feel it symbolizes how hard it is in the trucking industry. Its not all glitz and glamour. Now mind you its there but if your trying to support a family and all then its a lil bit harder to keep a "perfect" truck.

  • Better learn how to float them gears buddy!!

  • @tealpurple1 It can be at times. It's also a demanding job with pretty much zero probability of breaking out of a lower middle class income. I do love it, though.

  • @PandaNipss Sample reasons: To keep tabs on that soccer mom in the minivan who's talking on the cell phone, sipping a latte, munching a scone, reading the paper, putting on mascara and refereeing the kids fighting in the back. And to be able to see if we blow a trailer tire so as to not put a retread through the windshield of the Neon riding 2 feet off our back bumper.

  • As Strait says, "This country runs on 18 Wheels" Good song, love the Guitar.

  • Hey man love this video, ive got family who r truck drivers and want to be one. Any tips

  • Cool song. I haven't subscribed to Sirius in 2 years because they are duck fuckers and had a retarded mexican DJ on the metal station. Too many repeats and insults on top? Not paying another $.

  • This song is a FREE DOWNLOAD! on the bands website puregrainmusic(dot)com

  • Is this a cover? Why do the lyrics sound familiar?

  • @stopglobalswarming no its not a cover... All original material. very talented singer-songwriter. They play them on Sirius/XM maybe you heard it there ?

  • no not from dave nemo it was a girl that was siging i think from one part in black dog movie i donno just don't rember but the intro with the guitarrs sound like that

  • GREAT music!!! Saw several videos...where can I purchase a cd(s)?

  • Finally found this song I've been listening to it for the past few months at the end of The Dave Nemo Show on Sirius/XM Road Dog Trucking network. I Love this song, it's one of my favorite songs.

  • love it!!!

  • Wow, couldn't you find a better truck for the video?

  • @wiseguylt4 what do you mean by a better truck?? that's a nice looking truck, yes it does have some scares but is still a nice looking truck I would love to drive something like it.

  • @Velal07

What I'm saying is if your going to make a music video use a truck worth looking at. Trust me that thing is a rolling DOT violation. Bent cab extenders, bumper, stacks, Hell if you pause at 0:35 you can see he hood don't even close right. Who ever owns this truck clearly doesn't care about it. Not a good choice for a music video.

  • @wiseguylt4 i agree but considering he is an upstart singer, he probably borrowed a truck from a friend. kinda hard to rent someone's truck when you're new and broke.

  • @wiseguylt4 I've seen worse out here on the road. They can use mine anytime. Love their music.

  • @wiseguylt4 You get a better truck and make another vidio with the same song, if you aint happy.

  • @N3v0666

What the hell is a vidio?

  • @wiseguylt4 I was very tired lol n it sounded like video so yh... lol

  • i love the song and the vid but man you sur look like yer shimed right up hahaha slower down with the chicken feed

  • Imma trucker, love truckin, dont really get how the hell im the computer things work er uwv. I beat my lady to this song every saturday you bet a pretty peeny on that one son haha

  • Great song, gotta love those truck drivers we could not do what we do without them! Keep on rockin' definatly a fan of your music!! Do you guys ever come to Kentucky?

  • Love it!! Where can I get a CD
