nope, i agree. part of the hilarity of the office was the dynamic between the ridiculous (michael, dwight, andy) and the sane (jim, pam, ryan, stanley, etc.).

Too many characters changed into funny ones (pam, ryan) and the serious ones dont care anymore/have become stale (oscar, angela, jim).
