I wonder what is motivating to Francis about imagining himself seated on the throne of G-d. The image of myself up there does little for me. However, the image of myself in a white robe before the throne motivates me. The idea of being there motivates me. Perhaps Francis needs the image of siting on a throne in heaven to resist sitting on some eathly throne. I love his honesty about his struggling with his unique temptations.
Why is everything in christianity focused on guilt and hell? Isn't it suppose to be about love? Who are we to pass judgment upon others, to say who is going to hell? If God is truly a benevolent God than why wouldn't he give people second chances? Maybe some people aren't lukewarm because they are content just being that way, maybe they are searching for what to believe in. And is scaring them into believing in something to avoid hell really better than searching for what they really believe in?
I'm sorry but i have to correct this- I myself was once was a Christian who has left the faith due to me being unsure of certain concepts.
However Christianity is not focused on guilt and hell- what this guy is trying to say is that if one realized what the Kingdom of God really is and the implications of what we were doing we would not be so "lukewarm"
It isn't to scare people it's just stating honest truth- he himself admits to being unsure of his own state
@MrRoboto3281 I guess I should have said many christians are focused on guilt rather than the religion of Christianity as a whole, because Christianity is really meant to be focused on love, too bad so many christians are horrible at loving. And it is about scaring people, even when you say something about realizing implications, how is that not a tactic to scare people into believing something? I can say from personal experience that christians have made me spend too much of my life in fear
This video is remarkable. And it may have saved my life. thank you. are we in love with this god? or are you in love with his gifts?" would you be satisfyed if you arrived in heaven and christ wasnt present. he he a supplement? or is he our true to life? holla at me
if there is no pressure "christians" will live life thinking that being lukewarm is ok and that will lead them striaght to hell.. you have to be all for god cuz if your not than your going to hell and christians need to be informed

man speaks a lot of truth. As a new believer I need to do some serious soul searching to get my eyes fully on God.

this message is for the Christians, the church folk...if you're not a believer, you won't see it for what it really is.
if you don't like watching ice skating, how r u gonna know the joy of ice skating? '
christianity requires participation - not just viewers.

This is junk. Too much pressure pushes people away from Christianity.
