Also, the vast majority of his knockouts before he fought Floyd were against guys who had nearly as many losses as wins, and in some cases, two or three times as many losses than wins. @Belize2787 all you have to do is watch what kind of problems two southpaws, corley and Judah, gave mayweather for the first 4 rounds of their respective fights with him. Neither of these guys have the power or stamina of Pac and when they had money hurt they made the mistake of throwing hooks to try and finish him. Pac throws straight up the middle when he has guys hurt. He may catch Floyd. Should be a good fight.

@Belize2787 the pull counter right only works on opponents that have minimal head movement or lazy jabs. Doesn't work so great on southpaws either...didn't seem him use it once against corley or Judah. Mayweather will have his work cut out for him against pacquiao. Not an easy fight for either of them.

@ZigZagRunner the only reason floyd was even hit with the left hand is because he tried to just get in to a punching match with corely wich he did and dominated, but after this fight mayweather new that if he wanted to win fights with out getting hurt he had to go back to out boxing them. Judahs speed is just as good if not better than mayweather and pacs and thats what threw mayweather off in the first four rounds, but judah did not hurt him.

@ZigZagRunner Then against ortiz mayweather really showed that he can outbox a southpaw easily. In my oppinion ortiz had a better chance than pac and it showed. Ortiz is stronger, hits harder, bigger, about as fast, more agressive, and longer arm length than pacman. Mayweather was able to defend from any effective shots from ortiz and was hitting him with clean counters. Then in round 4 we got to see what mayweather would do against a powerful flurry from a south paw and he defended verry well.

@ZigZagRunner Ortiz was flurrying every time he was hit with a counter and with him being bigger and stronger than floyd his punches backed mayweather against the ropes, but mayweather defended most of them he only was hit by 4 punches adding the first and second flurry together and those shots were not that clean. For the first time pacmans size will actually be a weakness. Also seeing pacman has trouble with boxer types and counter punchers hes gunna most likely lose by a dominante decision.

@crewfoos ortiz as strong and fast as manny, in my opinion highly doubtful. well stronger maybe but given his opposition its hard to tell. i believe manny is much faster and hits harder, when i say faster i mean both foot and handspeed (but handspeed more so). don't forget we haven't seen ortiz go someone like mosley, cotto or marquez yet so its hard to judge. i believe manny is as fast or faster than floyd, (however floyd has much better timing, boxing skill and defence), chin and power pacman.

@Belize2787 manny has much better handspeed than corley though. and if a punch is gonna hit floyd it's gonna be a jab or southpaw lead left because it gets inside the right hand of the philly shell. judah and hatton have landed shots like that on him as corley did here, manny hits harder and faster than all three, and is known for his fast powerful left. he definitely has a chance against floyd, especially if he lands shot which i think he's fast enough to do (both foot and hand speed)
