  • Totally ageless song - still sounds fresh and new today.

  • I havent heard this in so long....I love Adam...he is so darn cute!!!

  • great to hear this again, was a huge Ant fan back in the day, and even got to see them live in Bristol Lacarno back in 1980, i thought i'd died and gone to heaven...early Antz stuff def the best, and he looked sooooo cool..xx

  • Some has to aske at the cameraman to stop playing with camera's zoom!!!

  • Funny that at this time Xerox only printed B&W

  • I remember buying this when it came out. I liked pretty much all the Ants stuff. It sort of bridged punk and commercial. Lucky for him this video probably didn't get much air time. One of the cheapest vid's i've ever seen.

  • One thing I love about their/his music is that many of the songs actually sound UNIQUE from each other. So many times you find yourself listening to music artists with songs that all blend together after awhile.

  • Does anyone out there actually have a copy of the DIGITAL TENDERNESS dvd? lets talk then!

  • aw man still love it after all these years

  • yer the antz good band met them few times-in interviews-antmusic for sex people -is bivouac still going?

  • great song adam was a great man love to catch him live some time who knows

  • FOR YOU ADAM I WENT DEAF CAUSE I HAD MY HEADPHONE ON BLAST THANKS YOUR WORTH IT NOT THIS SONG (SORRY) THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS IT IS AWSOME....I KINDA LIKE IT,I WISH I WAS PLAYIG WITH ZEROX MACHINE LOL........

  • No wonder all the punks hated him. But Goddard was just TOO GOOD for them...

  • La classe !

  • OMG! Classic!

  • You can see where Blur got some of the inspiration for their sound.

  • Memories, sound just as good now as they did back in the day. Pity the rest of the band done a runner to Malcolm Mclaren.

  • @NotADjJazzeegood that they did their little bow wow wow buzz boy, otherwise there'd be no marco.i love early ants but marco had to meet adam.kings wouldn't have happened otherwise.

  • wow! the still for cover-art on his Dirk Wears White Sock album

    trippy!

  • people never forgive pretty ppl for getting older either...like tim curry and adam

  • @Dravenswraith Fuck me was Tim Curry pretty like!!! Has he not always been an ugly twat?

  • theres a whole hordes of ppl who would disagree but to each his own my point is that ppl want their idols to stay young to infinity

  • wow Adam Ant was a gorgeous man!

  • @Neilpoe he still is :)

  • I've listened to Adam since he came out with "Young Parisians." I like his music, and I don't think any of it is cr*p.

  • "of the copyright" love that line

  • I really like it-one of my favourites-just goes to show everybody has different tastes!!

  • Actually the last 20 seconds are quite good

  • i think michael stipe learnt to dance from watching this video!!! brilliant song though

  • Don't remember Adam and the antz playing at Rochester castle, and I've Lived in Medway towns nearly all my life, and a big Ants fan

  • They were doing zerox, long b4 they hitched up with marco, dave on drums, andy(get that fringe cut) and matthew, now sadly departed, (sorry cant remember the original guitarist)

  • am i the only person on you tube who used to see them in the late seventies?

b4 the prince charming, goody two shoes c**p?

  • no;i saw them in 1979 and i know wot you talking about, really a brilliant gig that ive always remembered

  • Saw them a few times back in '78 when they where amazing. Also saw them later on the Kings of the wild frontiers-tour which was OK.

  • has anybody heard clients version of zerox its very good.and thats from a big adam ant fan.

  • I was a punk, A New Waver and Romantic, I saw him live in Brussels, I enjoyed every minute of and I was sure to get close to his dressing style

  • anyone used to go and see them in the late 70's, marquee, hampstead.rochester castle

  • 2:27 - 3:54 I favourite part of the songgg. And the video for that matter. ;D;D;D

  • I can't stop looking back at every single one of his songs heh...

  • Adam is THE man!!!!xxx

  • Why the hell isn't this man considered one of the greatest musical and artistic talents to have emerged within the last 50 years??? He's magnificent! The Magnificent ONE...

  • Fantastic! John Peel session version is FTW!

  • i think this is the guy's greatest ever song. everything else was only slightly less as good. he was just too talented.

  • i am the owner of the copyright

  • Sounds all right if you turn off the video.

  • Lock up your brain cos im here again....Fantastic.

  • Great stuff!

  • Keep playing your cello and exploring nature. You obviously have no understanding or respect for the divine Adam.

  • I'm proud to be an Ant fan. A recent successful book (Waterstone's most successful), sold out concert in September, another book on the way and more music and possibly concert, too . . . I wouldn't call that 'washed up'. If you aren't interested why are you looking at this video and making defamatory comments? You sound bitter and twisted. That's my final response to you - you aren't worth the time. Or Adam's.

  • @antwish YOU TELL 'EM!!!

  • @preciousbash Thanks! 8-)

  • you go antwish!

  • So who do you like Scott? I'll bet there aren't any ant fans trashing your videos.

  • Thought you might like to know that Adam has released another CD - a live CD of the Bloomsbury Concert from September 07. Only available through his website.

  • love the montage at the end. that was a nice little surprise!!!

  • Crap I did the Zerox Machine at the concert. I would pay lots to go and have that sort of MAD FUN again. I was had forgotten how much fun it was to dance ehtat way and stayed up late into the night playing Ant Music and I blasted it until around 4:30am and danced myslef silly!! Thank you Adam and the Ants wherever you are! GRAET FUN STILL AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!!

  • This is one of my favourites, really hard to find , think it might be the only vid on youtube ?

  • GOOD GOD The beginning is like Adam Ant meet Andy Partiage. I never realised thet was some similiarities. Still I classic. A must have!

  • was this song ever on a commercial or somthing ,ive heard it before, i think

  • Rather good but has anyone got "Cleopatra" live?

    R

  • I wish Adam Ant was still hawt.

  • Me too :'(

  • Absolutely wonderful!

  • Gawd. This is such a great track and video. If anyone from "Ashes to Ashes" is watching, this is the sort of look you ought to be aiming towards.

  • This would have been an absolutely marvellous video, even this rough edit is very very entertaining.

Adam never sold out, his commercially successful albums aren't that much softer than "Dirk Wears White Sox".

  • I love Adam Ant to pieces even though I wasn't around when the Ant's era was going on.

    <3

I really wish you could embed it. :(

    xx

  • is it worth getting the debut?

  • YES.

  • Is it worth badgering someone to death Mignonhenne?

  • what happens in vegas stays in vegas but i'm talking about the adam ant lp.lol

  • Absolutely, it is a fantastic album. Be prepared to hear all the ideas, REALLY raw. Might take a little getting used to, they were quite different-sounding before Marco joined and people started "producing" the band.

  • wanted to see this video for years, so glad it's finally available!

  • The best 'Ants' period ..... sad to think that this once great lyricyst ending up looking the fool and making songs for 8 year olds ....... "Plastic surgery it's so drastic" Adam once sang, it was a metaphor i believe for his own 'change' and ultimate selling out of what was one of the most interesting bands of the late 70s ..... Prince charming looks pale and sick next to this brilliant 'Zerox' video ..........

  • "Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly." ~Robert F. Kennedy. I'm glad Adam took the dare...

  • "Plastic Surgery it's so PLASTIC..." is what he sang. Humour, you see.

yadda yadda 'sold out' punk mantra bollocks.

Zerox is a fine song though.

  • ooooooooooooh zerox machineeeeeeeeee

    LOVE IT!

  • Ahhh heaven, the famous Stephanie Gluck video! What heavenly bliss! AFter all these years! Long live the internet and illegal uploads!

  • fucking brilliant, and to the idiots who said he sold out,he always wanted to be on every magazine cover on the planet and sell millions from day one.okay his best work was 77-80,dirk wears white sox is still the best album made by anybody ever. he changed my life...god bless u stu

  • dark brown voice and a suit pristine! :)

  • I would freakin xerox his machine!!!!!

  • He was brilliant before he sold out. It always reminds me of The Soft Boys.

  • It's ant-aerobics!

  • Fabuleschen

  • antmusic for sex people....sexmusic for antpeople.

  • HAPPT MEMORIES , DIRK WEARS WHITE SOX

  • Brilliant! Happy carefree days! Thanks for uploading.

  • Like everything before the white stripe, sadly underrated. I believe this was made just after the original Ants left with McClaren and before he really hooked up with Marco

  • Alongside Cartrouble this is the best song by Adam & The Ants, saw them at the Royalty, Gosforth when this had just been released, absolute class!!

  • They were class marra. Only saw them at the city hall (toon).

  • So did we! Excellent show and then they sold out a bit by the time they got to the City Hall about a year or so later. Audience was all little kids wearing their pirate outfits. So glad I saw them when they were really raw at the Royalty!

  • totally agree lovesign, still kicks ass...

  • You know, this song is still a belter !! And the lyrics are as relevant as ever today, even more so probably ! To tie in with the release of the autobiography, CD & DVD, they should re-release this track and take Steph's footage and finish off what she started. Great stuff !

  • xerox MO chine :)
