whoa, looking at this video you can definately how dave grohl really took Nirvana to a whole new level with his drumming. chad's not that good a drummer, he's not bad, just not that good.

@Nomanisrdy - yeah Chad was a fine drummer, but he was sort of a one-trick pony at that point (i've seen him perform since then and he is way way wayyyyy better, he was essentially still a beginner when this video was shot).

the band needed someone who was more reliable with tempo, could hit harder, and was all around a more dynamic player when it came to different styles (which Dave provided all of that and then some).
