I'm a vegetarian and my doctor tests my blood for cholesterol, high blood pressure, anemia etc... I have no problems at all and I am much healthier now than when I ate meat. I am able to get protein and vitamins and lack nothing.
No wert180, you are wrong. Do some serious research & you will see that most physicians agree that an animal free diet is better for you. You say "vegetarians are not healthier" well that depends on the person. The one that eats french fries, donuts & soda is not healthier but the one that eats mostly fruits, vegetables & legumes is definitely healthier.
That's not true at all. What proteins, or better yet, what amino acids do you believe vegetarians are lacking by not eating meat? Both my undergraduate and graduate degrees are health related and I can assure you that your statements are incorrect.
Vegetarians can get the same amount of protein as a normal 'meat diet' consists of.
Back in the older days, un-healthy vege's were not healthy and vege's not days.. have ore options etc on what to eat and how to get the proteins they need with out having to take a lovely cocktail of pills.
thats the great thing, vegetarians now days ARE healthier people.
People who eat meat are more prone to heart, liver, etc failer. Im not saying your wrong. but yeah.
I am a proud Indian & I'm proud to be called as a vegetarian.
The earliest records of vegetarianism as a concept and practice amongst a significant number of people come from ancient India. Today, Indian vegetarians are estimated to make up more than 70% of the world's vegetarians.
yeah, i dont really see how cutting out proteins are healthy. Ya know, like you need that stuff, sure pasta like carbs gives you quick energy, but the long term energy comes from proteins. Why don't you just eat kosher meats or something, i heard they kill the animal in a human way.
Anyway, i would never go vegan, im already thin enough XD.

I think it's only up to the professionals to say if it's scientifically incorrect.

I'm a vegan and an animal rights suporter but i think "Approval only comments" puts PETA in a bad light.
