Filmation created GBs at first then Columbia unleashed the movie in 1984, Filmation sued Columbia over the rights of the name. They also wanted to do an animated show based on Columbia's GBs but DIC was chosen.
This game is really amazing we tend to play it at birthdays with my brothers they are really good at it. I managed to download the game perfectly free for my ps3 from - one blow. com they have literally hundreds best thing about it is they are all free oh btw 1:35 - 3:55 was sterling
this is the ORIGINAL ghostbusters - the movies are just ripoffs. Ghostbusters was invented by Filmation in the 70's as a live-action tv-series.. this is the continuation - a "next generation" show if you will, which focuses on the ghostbusters' kids taking up the job.
The original Ghostbusters were dumb, as was the animated version of it. It was the Ghostbusters FILM which was unbelievably awesome! But I guess you care more about seniority than creativity.
@ahrentzen100 Columbia didn't rip anything off. Dan Ackroyd came up with his own idea for ghost exterminators, which he happened to call "Ghostbusters". it wasn't until the film was in production that they realized Filmation's show existed, and thus there was a title dispute. same thing happened between "Avatar" and *barfs* The Last Airbender (barfing at the movie, not the show)
@hcvang the movies are NOT ripoffs. why would Dan Ackroyd want to rip off a silly kids show with a guy in a gorilla suit? i doubt he'd even heard of it. it's just the titles were coincidentally the same. now i'm NOT knocking this show, i used to watch it as much as the other show. but Ackroyd did NOT rip anything off, and comparing the two, his is definitely the superior product but i had memories with this show too.
@hcvang look, it's a known fact, you can ask just about ANYONE about Ghostbusters, and they will KNOW about Ackroyd's version, and they'll talk about how great it is. No offense to this show, as i said i had memories of it, but the idea of ghostbusters as exterminators, using technology with a sense of verisimilitude to it, and using witty and hilarious dialogue, is more interesting than a couple guys traveling through time, and over the world, ZAPPING ghosts into another dimension.
Eu gosto muito deste desenho e eu assistia muito na minha infância.Fico feliz por poder reassistir no YouTube.Uma das cenas mais legais é a de quando os personagens tiram a roupa e sentam na cadeira que segue pela esteira rolante.
I never show this on TV but my Brother had a video of it which i use to watch and when he was older he gave it to my Nephew who enjoyed watching it. But he had to bin it last year when i stopped working. It was a good cartoon. But not as good as the other Ghostbuster cartoon.
Actually, the 1970's live action show starring Forrest Tucker and Larry Storch of F-Troop that inspired this cartoon WOULD have started it all.... IF that, and this cartoon had anything to do with (The Real) Ghostbusters (That we all know and love way better), other than having the same name.
the movie producers had to pay the TV show producers for use of the name, and then the old TV show producers decided to also produce this cartoon series to capitilaze on the movie.. if this sounds odd remember this was back in the 80s when everybody was coked out of their minds ;)

You dont wanna pay for 'em, but you wanna see 'em?
Guess you're gonna have to live without 'em, then. Or become a criminal... unless you can find a network that airs them somewhere on TV.
Hoping the administrators of this channel are aware of posts like yours... Classic Media: wake up...

Your ignorance - not to mention your being too lazy to use google for two seconds to find out - is gay.
These are the next generation of the ORIGINAL ghostbusters, not Columbia's ripoff movie.

Oh I got a video of this from the earlier ninties and never knew the connection between this series and the one which is the more famous.
englishtwister 2 years ago
no connection other than name and concept...
the ghost busters came first... then columbia's movie, which had to license the rights to the ghostbusters from filmation to do it, then this show.

WHERE DID YOU GET THIS VIDEO!!!
Because I noticed the opening titles and logo are different, the logo resembles the one from the 1975 prequel series and the title looks different!
plus one shot of the opening shows the ghostbuggy being chased by the logo.
