Until i read this tonight,i didn't even know one of my favourite guiatarist's was dead.Jeff's music just seem to pop up in the strangest of places but i always knew it was him.Fantastic music and i know i'm well late with this but the world is a darker place without you being here jeff, totally gutted.
The world is a darker place without his talent. Thankfully he can be celebrated and honored through his music which will, for me at least, always be timeless.
Gods' Speed Jeff, say hello to Stevie Ray for us.
One of the most passionate players from these times has left Planet Earth...he is in jamming heaven now...with Jimi, Albert and all these other guitar greats.
tnx for that video. I was lucky to see him twice, at the commers in Morin Heights (20 years ago)and this with you at THE MOUNTAIN nice and also sad memory. tnx again
I don't know what much to say but rest easy and in peace. Our blessings are too easy to take for granted and life is WAY too short for many. We really need to pay more attention to RIGHT NOW. We might not have a tomorrow. :0(
Cancer, like sin, is an invader, and like death, never was meant to be. But soon, "God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things (will have) passed away." Rev. 21:4. I can hardly wait!
just found out been at work a month he was an incrediable guitar play songwriter and performer seen his concert in Sault ste. marie ONT and he was amazing. Also met him in Edmonton at a small bar down to earth and my heart and prayers go out to his wife and daughter they lost their husband and daddy we lost an icon.
He was just a kid when he started and had a running battle with cancer a wonderful human being and artist and will absolutely be missed by this world and his family*
Tragic... Cancer makes us too unfortunate for words. Being older than he was, I'm thinking that my mortality could be happening anytime. We should all be thankful to whatever deity or higher power we believe in that we're still alive...
man.. what a talent jeff had.. he was the real deal from day 1... i know he'll always be one of the greatest.. rip jeff... see ya on the other side... keep rockin
It was outside, in the main square. I actually don't believe in filming "free" concerts. It was the impending storm I tried to capture, but the lightning didn't oblidge. Then the downpour vetoed the concert.

An incredible voice, guitar playing (solo and the fact thas he was blind and played guitar on his knees)
Most guitar heros were impressed by his talent: Mark KNOPFLER, Stevie RAY, bb King.
He could play what nobody could play.
his first or 4 first cd were fantastic
A vhs live 1989 too and dvd Montreux 2002.
I put a tribute here and i played his music at home :)

He had a hard life despite his fame- no wonder he was such a cranky jerk.
One of Canada's all-time greats

He is one of my husband's favorite guitar players. I was stunned...I had no idea he had been ill. Yeah. Cancer sucks the big one.

He was blessed with all that talent. I don't think the governments are allowing enough research to find a cure. Such a cruel condition.

Jeff Healey died? Dang I didn't know. You were a fan, MA?
Sorry to hear of his passing, I wasn't a fan but appreciated his musicianship. Cancer is a pathetic way to die. If only....
Thx for sending me this vid. :)
