what is the piont in these little ones? dont get me wrong, i think its pretty cool but i wouldnt even think about giving up my casio wk-500 for something that small you should get a bigger one unless you already have one

Casio was only ever good for their instruments intended for children. Of course they are much more useful than they intended (if done tastefully). The way I see it, if they try to make a legitimate musical instrument they try way too hard and it always sucks. The pt, mt, and sk series were the best things Casio ever did. :)

I'd have to disagree a little, because they used to make "serious synths" that were pretty good in their own right. I think its more that they have lost their creativity in recent years. I mean this is the company that produced toy keyboards with full transposing samplers, or with voice changing effects. You just don't see that with any of their newer keyboards though :(

most of them, I believe are either designed as childrens toys, or just very portable music toys. But quite alot of them have wonderful sounds :)
