実射版を観ました。アニメの方が伝える物が多く感じます。この状­態でＯＰを実写に採用したらすごい作品になるでしょう。何故、過­去の状況・・・戦時のリアルを採用しないのか不明です。伝える事­の義務を放棄したいのか？戦艦大和とヤマトは時代の流れにリンク­しなければなりません。遊びの艦名ではありません。誰もが知って­いる歴史文化ではありません。死に様でもありません。現実なので­す。日本人が国を守る意味がここにあります。ヤマトの作品は流行­ではなく伝える文化であります。その時代にあわせる意味などあり­ません。戦艦大和の悲劇から次の世代に繋げる作品を期待します。

I can't begin to express how much I enjoy all six chapters of this. I really love how the music from Yamato is used to tell the story of the Ship,her crew and the journey to Iscandar. it's also exciting to know that finally after many years we'll finally get to see Space Battleship Yamato on the big screen and in a live action version. I can't wait to see it.

@rich2365 It oddly does look like Bush Sr.! He was famous for a number of reasons for a long time and remember, this series came out in Japan in 1974. I think he would have been a govenor at that time too.

I watched this show back when I was a young kid and loved it. Years later a friend played the album for me and when I heard this song, the images just flooded back to me! I couldn't believe how much of a response I had to this music! The tape I made of his album was almost worn out from playing, and then stolen, but I've never forgotten this music. Thank you for making this lovely video tribute and for sharing this music with the world. Thank you so very much!

I first saw this on American television as Space Cruiser Yamato. Then two years later they showed it again as star Blazers so I knew it was japanese long before others in America.

This anime is called "Space battleship YAMATO" originally created by Reiji Matsumoto, a Japanese animator. Yamato was taken from a real battleship that existed and built in WWII to fight with America. No wonder why American changed the original title to the weird name, "Starblazers".

Awesome!! I like it a lot. I was a big fan of Yamato when I was a kid, but never seen something like this. The music is synchronized with images, while extracting the essence of each scene. Great editing, too.
