  • I have been suggesting this sort of thing for my group. The hook-up seemed well outside our budget. How can you get this stuff up and running cheaply?

  • Hey Yo Toronto if your still camping cheap used top heaters off of dehydrators have very CSA approved heaters that blow up to 150f for a tent. $15. at a thrift shop, $45. on ebay. It works with a car batt and this guys charging or switch outs.

  • Yaaa!

  • If anyone out there is feeling generous we could really use a wind turbine in conjunction with the solar power to provide us with a more consistent charge. I found one on ebay for $400, shipping included and it could hook into the existing system, more than doubling our power generation potential!

  • @JTS24 you're awesome, where can I donate

  • Nice. :)

  • Right on people - lead by example... having a good sound system for meetings is important too, now you can plug in.

  • I love how communal effort is suddenly a Marxist revolution. The paranoid individualism of our society never ceases to amaze.

  • How does solar power compare to firewood for heating?

    "going green"?

Red is the colour of communist revolution,

and green is the colour of established communism.

It may sound all well and good, but it has never turned out that way.

Lenin said "we shall win with slogans".

When someone is looking a little green, it used to mean that they were not feeling very well.

There are idealistic forces that want to direct these protests,

that may not be ideal for, or in the interest of, the protesters.

  • @rongrite If you see any firewood in a public park that's available to be cut down be my guest. You can't have an open flame in the middle of a city park. You seriously need some help friend, commies are long gone just like the anarchos.

  • @rongrite Uhhhh...

  • @Drewkiimon Sorry, firewood is stored solar energy, too.

Photosynthesis is natures way of making energy from sunlight.

Wood is the reservoir of that energy.

Strange to think that the heat from a wood fire, comes from the sun.

perhaps nanotechnology will find a greater efficiency.

  • Yeeeee son!!!!! Next up: Solar Powered Aquaponics!! Let's invest millions into that and feed the world with food and energy!!! Hurry up..Before they collapse our purchasing power!
