@jamezz34 I am not sure, it seems that it may be made for the program because I cannot find any info on it on the net. If you do find out what it is, I would like to know as well. It reminds me of Boards of Canada's The Campfire Headphase album.
I lost my faith because even though I have been a good person, even in the face of temptation, I have never seen the 'grace of god'. I grew up poor. I saw suffering. I joined the military and went overseas and I saw even MORE suffering. I suffered. I never EVER complained. Then, in the space of 2 years, My Mom and my Dad died, then my Wife left me and took my three precious children.
I am alone now.
If there IS a God...I sure as hell can't see him anywhere...and I am not sure I'd want to
Person who thinks he rocks, I'm bored with you and this whole thing. The bible is a book of fairy tales for weak people, that is all. I don't care what proof you think you have because it's all utter nonsense. Half your comments are unintelligible, the rest are a load of horse shit. Grow up and join the modern world.
So despite the fact you will view this as winning, because you are the type of arrogant fool that can't tell when he's being dismissed, I bid you adieu and a raised middle finger.
@MrLevel42fan it's wrong because you feel like a horrible person for doing it and you know it's a bad thing to do. why do you need a set of axioms to tell you what to feel?
@DukeMcManhands Not if naturalistic materialism is true. I believe it's wrong, but it's not absolutely wrong because it makes me feel horrible. Some people may not feel horrible about it at all. You don't need a set of axioms to tell you how to feel. You do need an absolute standard of good to be able to determine absolute wrongness though. The worldview in question doesn't account for it.
The Bible was Created and Written by Jews to Control the Masses with "FEAR!" and still do; and Now; the same Hidden (from public scrutiny) Parasites have now taken Control of the masses by Owning the World's Mass-Media with the same basic principles of mass Propaganda; Lies and Fear and who will publicly intimidate and ridicule anyone who tries to questions it, or them! It's time to Wake-UP World before "They" finally make Their "British Empire" Sorry; "New World (ENSLAVING) Order" a REALITY!
lol i got one question for everyone, do you really think people would believe or practice religion if it did not offer eternal life. example, like in catholicism, if ur a good catholic u go to heaven and have eternal life w/ god or w/e.. if it didn't have that promise, im pretty sure a good chunk of catholics would not follow the religion or w/e.
You cant sqy God makes you go to church and school or to reqd the bible because THOSE ARE MQN MADE THINGS GOD DIDNT MAKE THEM MAN DID. God wants you to believe and he givea you a choice and doesnt interfere
I remember going to church and Sunday school, and thinking WTF IS THIS SHIT? It all seemed to be outside the realm of what's true. And I was graded on bible studies, if there was a god, why does he care how knowledgeable I am of his crap?
@jimmyphonghater Ok, lets turn this around, Why are you tested in school? If "education" really exists, why do I have to be tested on how knowledgeable I am?
I agree about "the impossibility[of there being a god]", the problem is--kind of a non-issue, but religious people make it an issue--that there is no proof against the theory, and I respect room for greater awareness. However, I believe we humans are the ones playing "god", and don't want to admit it--and we're fallible. Wouldn't it save a load of grief, to know the beings forking with humanity--are humans. Not gods. But they do love to be worshiped, don't they.
@ThePowerV3 yeah, probably, but the thing with Ricky is, he is really into science, but he thinks he's more educated on certain subjects than he really is, and he can make himself look a little bit like a fool sometimes, hehe. I'm basing this on hundreds of hours listening to his XFM radio shows and podcasts.
@ebutouyym1 I don't know any Christians with humanistic values. Christians believe in humility, self-sacrifice, charity and repentance. Humanists believe in materialism, self-indulgence, gain, pride and self-righteousness.
@cosmosmonger I know a lot of Christians who (say they) believe in those things, but very, very few who actually practice them.
And while you can find secular humanists who are proud, materialistic, etc, that's not their belief system but personal failings - and there are a lot more flawed Christians than humanists.
@Mr86pittsteelers if you believe just because you're scared of hell, that's hardly true faith. It's one of the more cynical arguments for believing in christianity, but no, not buying it. There's no such thing as ghosts - er - hell.
My thing is I believe in Allah but I don't believe in religious practices, they seemed made up. Which is why I say kinda whenever people ask if im muslim because of my name. I believe in Allah because EVERYTIME something happens to me that can lead to a horrible thing, I get lucky, not just regular lucky, its unbelievable luck. i have to have someone watching over me. the religious practices and rules ALL sound man made for the better of their government.
It's sad your mother couldn't explain the question, "Why do you believe in God." I'll bet you all just had church membership and were never saved, you never repented and had a relationship with Jesus, meaning you were never born again. You surely must not have read the bible, and I don't mean what you heard in church which may not have been real preaching anyway. It's sad there are churches where the pastor will preach a little sermonette for about 20min, with no conviction or power.
@itchygonads Hi I am been reading this post for like 5 hous now I belived in Jesus every one has a right in there believe I want every one in heavin . We can't change people but we can show loved and pray for them.
@RKoen2006 the problem is that many people have used the same religion to justify slavery, murder, and rape for hundreds of years. Prayer seems a bit cynical in response to this. I'm not saying you are cynical, just that this is how it feels to us non-Christians. Your belief doesn't bother me, it is the behaviour of others with the same beliefs that "bothers" me.
You want God to exist, but you speak in poetic, obscure language to try and explain God. It's obvious that you haven't got a clue what (or whether) God is. Your account of God is unconvincing - are you actually convinced by it? When are we going to accept that God didn't make us - we created him. In your mind you created a God that is "the alpha and omega and not actually a being..", but if you ask other theists, they'll all have a different explanation. They made their ownGod
@ebutouyym1 I'm sorry, would you like me to slow down for you. I was hoping for actual intellectuals in this world, I was mistaken. None the less. "Alpha" Is the first letter in the Greek language. "Omega" is the end. He is both "the Beginning and the end". The Alpha and Omega.
If you ask any true Christian, they will define God as an Omnipotent (all powerful) being, who gave his son for his cursed creation. People reject him because they don't want to have an all powerful Judge.
@theP3rSonhuRocks I too am hoping for more intellectuals in the world. Those that can think their way out of religious absurdities. I know what alpha and omega are, what I fail to see is how Greek letters explain in anything like concrete terms what your God is. Can you explain your religious beliefs without relying on poetic obfuscation? And while you're at it, what is a "true" Christian? One from your particular faction, I assume?
@ebutouyym1 What foolish dreck. The Alpha and Omega is an image of the awesomeness of God. Leave it to a person without faith In a higher being. God doesn't need "Alpha and Omega" to exist? It was a means to speak to the Gentiles or Greeks. In essence you are asking me to prove God exists without the Bible. Yeah, you try explaining "Evolution" without Science.
I don't like religion, actually i Loathe it. Religion is man's interpretation of what Christ has said. There is nothing to..
@theP3rSonhuRocks ... Interpret, real Christians take God at his word. There are no "factions" unlike Evolution. True Christians look past what Man tries to put first, and understand what the Bible really says.
Then there are people like you. Full of self wisdom, and cocky accusations. I doubt you know what the Bible really is, and are actually able to appreciate it.
@TheApatheticGuy Sorry What I meant is "I doubt you know what the Bible really is, and, if out of some miracle you do understand I doubt you are actually able to appreciate it as God's word."
I apologize, it was 12 at night and I was Tired. Now, With your forgiveness, may you state any more problems with my previous comment? Please it is always enjoyable to see peoples opinions. They do make the world turn round (or upside down).
@theP3rSonhuRocks Of course there are factions in Christianity. How many different varieties can you think of - each with their own slant on the absurd. If I ask ten other Christians what they believe a "true Christian" is, do you think they'd all tell me; "True Christians look past what Man tries to put first" ??
@ebutouyym1 Look at History and Science. There are multiple outlooks, and understandings of theories, Historical events. To say History or Science doesn't exist because there are multiple interpretations is absurd. What should be understood is that you cannot believe anything you don't research yourself. Please carefully think out your points, this is getting redundant.
@theP3rSonhuRocks "The Alpha and Omega is an image of the awesomeness of God." That's my point entirely. You cannot clearly define the supernatural being which governs your life. You need to rely on vague "images". If you try to be more concrete, and other Christians did the same, you find that your ideas differ quite a lot with those of other Christians. Because they're all based on personal interpretation of an old book written by people who lived 50-150 years after Jesus.
@ebutouyym1 Alpha and Omega is a beautiful way of showing the unbuondess, un ending God. If you truly think, that because mortal words can't contain God's Greatness, therefore he is false? Alpha and Omega is taken Directly from the Bible... (idiots) the fact that you didn't know this shows that you are willing to base entire arguments on bias, unresearched opinions. Let me tell you this, Egyptian Manuscripts and hieroglyphs are made to be...
@theP3rSonhuRocks Amazing truths and historical evidence of Egyptian thinkers and scribes, no one has ever mentioned anywhere else! Yet when You have Court Documents of the Trial of Christ, entire accounts by multiple people, and many political thinkers studying Christendom, Christ is not REAL!! And allow me to tell you this, sir, Just because something went into main circulation, (separate books of the Bible) a few years after Christ's Death means nothing....
@theP3rSonhuRocks Battle records of Alexander the Great were written, get this, 75 years after his Death! Alexanders main conquests were during his prime! 75 years after his death meant that the event was about 90 or so years before first record. Why would someone need to record something immediately? My Grandfather, is a veteran of WW2. WW2 was 73 years ago, he can still remember the horrors of that time in perfect detail!
@theP3rSonhuRocks When You say that a world wide war, couldn't be remembered by an 89 year old man, is heartless. He has constant nightmares even now. traumatic experiences last forever, HE KNOWS. Do You not think that something like the death of Christ, son of God, wasn't traumatic to some, you are obviously ignorant. What FOOLISH word that were spewed out in guile.
A: "Basically, I gave my soul to an Illuminati death-cult for money, & when I threatened to go against the system, I was blackmailed with financial ruin, death to myself & harm/death to my loved ones. So I decided to do their will and pretend that science falsifies God. Once they usher in the NWO totalitarian slave-grid, it won't be so bad so for now, I'll stay on the safe side. Even if it means mass unconscionable moral chaos, the end justifies the means."
Question: is god the highest form or being? I assume God is because he created us and everything else, right? But if he is the highest form or being that exists, then that doesn't make sense. Complexity can only arise from simplicity. In other words, how can a complex form like God exist before the simplicity that it would derive from? If there is a God, he has yet to exist because we are the highest forms of being that exist in the universe. Actually our brains or conscious are above everythin
@TheAusvideo God isn't a Being. He is the alpha and Omega, beginning and the end, he is and always will be. A being, is suggested to have Been, or has been created. God wasn't "Created" he never had arisen from anything. He does exist. But he isn't a being.
@theP3rSonhuRocks A "being" is defined as something that "IS." Thus: to BE is to be a being. God describes himself as "I AM." If God is eternal, then he is the ultimate being. Actually, in that case, God is the only true being, and everything else in space-time is just a temporal projection of his mind.
@cosmosmonger Then everything that there is to "Be", be it Energy, matter, elements, are all beings. God says "I Am" in the sense that he is all there is to "be". However a being, he is not. As i said before, everything has origins, but God doesn't. God "IS" he isn't something to "BE". His status isn't something to obtain, but that he IS, God not BECAME God. Sorry if i didn't make sense of this before, Feel free to ask for any more clarification. It is quite difficult to put into words, you know?
@ayasenev praying is a means of reaching God, not his creation. You know if your attempting to lead me into something like "God is Nature" or something hippie like that, do give up. Romans 1: 25: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. I don't know what your getting at, but worship the creature over the creator.
@theP3rSonhuRocks "...not some Gnostic being that can be reached any way man feels fit." You agreed that praying is a form of reaching God, yet, earlier, you said he can't be reached any way man feels fit. So, which is it?
@ayasenev Praying is a means of man speaking to God, but man cannot define how to reach God. God defines how to reach him in his word. (good attempt at trying to distort my words). When I said God cannot be reach by ways man feels fit, i meant that, you cannot demand things of him, he is not your slave. You cannot take any substance to meet him, and you cannot pray to him under deity. He is the same God that was to the Jews as he is to the Gentiles. Modern day Jewish faith has...
@theP3rSonhuRocks Distorted what God is after the death of Christ. In addition, many religions have worshiped a "lead off" of Christ and the biblical accounts. But if one were to follow the records of the Bible, one would find that the Bible is historical up to its very beginning.
@ayasenev Genesis Is proven through Science. Please don't make me have to prove this over a strenuous discussion. But if you want to, prepare to have your mind opened of the folly of your corrupt science curriculum.
@theP3rSonhuRocks I have only this question for you. It is not against you; this is simply a question that will help me better understand you. We've agreed that God is not a being. He is Alpha and Omega. In Genesis, we read that Man was created in God's image. Here's my question: How can that which is not a being create something resembling its image?
@theP3rSonhuRocks By the way, in case you have me all wrong, I'm not atheist. I have my own views about god. Not through any religious perspective, however. So, seeing your view on God interests me, because, the common denominator b/w us is agreeing that God is not a being. It makes more sense that way. My point is, I'm not arguing with you. I just want to share some thoughts on the subject with someone who has an open-mind like yourself.
@ayasenev My apologies, Sometimes I place people understereotypes, (I am to Blame), based upon what is said. Keep in mind, I deal with allot of scrutiny for my studies. I attempt to go against what is publicly considered "fact" however using science i prove Creation, and people loathe me for it. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, My hostility was the latter, I apologize, but at least we have found some common ground... I digress,
@theP3rSonhuRocks So think of God in this way, Man has many features not found in animal. Man has a heightened conscious ability, man has a heightened understanding and rationalization. Man also has the ability to Hypothesize and draw conclusions in complex factions. Man is not so unintelligent to understand where they have gone wrong. Animals have a certain irrationality that distincts Them from man.
@theP3rSonhuRocks Now, God is separated into three sections. God the Father (creator and Judge), God the Son (Jesus), and god the Holy Spirit (A heightened conscience that is on earth today). Now, it is noticed that God (father) the Creator and judge is the one who oversees all. He is in a form. We know this because he has created man in his image, and the fact that he walked in the garden with Adam and Eve, and Moses saw his Back. ,,,,
@theP3rSonhuRocks Now, what is always miscommunication is the fact that Man is made in God's Image. Read this over carefully. Man is made in GOD'S Image not the other way around. In Roman's 1 vs 25 "who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen". Man has made God seem like Creature, over being an omnipotent God who is "blessed for ever" or eternal. He has a form but his is not mans.
@theP3rSonhuRocks If only people gave this a little bit more thought...Religion, over the years, seems to warp the original philosophies that created it.
@theP3rSonhuRocks I like your take that the Holy Spirit is a worldly heightened conscience. I have a different label for that, though. Now, God took on a form to create Man? Then, if it's necessary for him to assume a form to create, this also means he had to assume the forms of all the animals he created as well?
@ayasenev Man, again, is made in God's Image, Mind and Body. They do not exactly resemble God, but are still close in comparison. God the Father (creator) has a form, this does not label him as a being. The Holy Spirit is a spirit, and has no form. Christ, Went from Being a spirit with God, to being God in Man's Body. These are the forms that Consist God. Here is the fact though. You can prove Creation, you can prove the Bible, But God, you cannot Prove. But how could you?
@theP3rSonhuRocks Hey, no worries. The YouTube comment section's a breeding ground for arguments. You've researched the topic and are able to support your statements, so for this, I respect you.
@ayasenev As I do you, You seem to have a sound mind and understanding. I wish there were many more of you, as people I've debated with are so set in their opinions that they would be willing to overlook fact. If you really look at it, evolutionists believe that Christians are no longer logical people. They talk down to them, They (some) blatantly disregard Christian theology, And, most of all, they pretend that Creation Christians know nothing of Science. Look at how Creationists...
@theP3rSonhuRocks Are treated within the scientific community. Their opinions are shunned without as much as a glance over what they have to offer. Today, if a weighing of facts were to come to front, it would most likely found that Creation has the most collection of actual scientific facts. Riddle me this: What has Evolutionary Science ever contributed to actual science? (This question goes out to everyone who believes in Evolution as actual "Fact" as well)
@theP3rSonhuRocks Quite a bit, actually. By knowing that animals have adapted over the millenia, millions year old fossils that were once seen as supernatural were realized as nothing more than ancient animals. These animals no longer roam the Earth. Their fossils are all that remain. Evolution links the in-between of ancient and modern animals.
@ayasenev If Creationists do not wish to be shunned in the scientific community, they must scientifically review Genesis, which, in this case, is a paper on how the world was created. By review, I mean, multiple experiments must be run on the statements made in Genesis. For instance, an experiment must be made on the possibility of all the oceans being created within a day. I'm talking computer simulations, samples, peer-review, numerical data, scale models. The works.
@ayasenev King James. it is Synonymous with ancient Hebrew texts. Do you want another discussion about this too? i could, I have, Hebrew-Greek, translations in my book shelf, and have seen some of the original manuscripts. Or you could look through history and see exactly the way the Bible has depicted things. Who better to tell you about something, then someone who was really there.
@theP3rSonhuRocks Can you define, in concrete, clear terms what or who exactly you pray to, and where this entity is currently located?
You say you loathe religion and that "Religion is man's interpretation of what Christ has said." But you interpret what Christ has said, don't you? Therefore YOU ARE religion and presumably you loathe yourself?
@ebutouyym1 I pray to God. I don't interpret what God has said, I take what he said as truth. When truth is supplied, is there need for clarification? Religion is the "man made" definition of what God is and why he does it, and if he wants people to do more than what is said within the Bible. Man intentionally seek ways to do more for God, be it destroying Religious opposition, or even going from door to door, telling people their wrong, and they should convert. That is religion....
@theP3rSonhuRocks Evolution is a religion, it is the attempt to abolish God from the equation and replacing him with time and theories. Theories that everyone (with intelligence) accepts as a feeble attempt to replace God.
@theP3rSonhuRocks Depends on if you're talking about MIND or matter. Matter exists on a macro-scale but ultimately, its a holographic illusion. Real reality is the communication thought-process that sustains light mechanics; the network of information that gives us our space-time-restricted reality. In case, God is the only being and everything else is God's dream(so to speak). Quite ironic: we're telling God he doesn't exist when he's the only thing that exists & we don't.
@cosmosmonger What in the world?... You speaking of a Gnostic ideal. God isn't a dreamer, and we are but figments of his imagination. Honestly, if you have any understanding, you would realize that this isn't a dream. You may hope for one, you may yearn for one. But in the end, you are but fighting a fate that is known by many. Your Judgement.
Your comment is one of the saddest i have ever read. It is also one of the most disappointing. When you wake up from your dream, tell me..
@theP3rSonhuRocks A gnostic ideal would be to somehow elevate man as god. I'm saying the perfect opposite. MY judgment means less than nothing. Keep in mind, I'm not the atheist here who believes that objective reality is subject to my own self-deceptive, brainwashed opinion. I don't live in a dream. In that case, I would be my own god and any measure of humility beyond what I can gain from it would be out of the question. Like the post-modernist atheist.
@cosmosmonger look at your comment:"A gnostic ideal would be to somehow elevate man as god" and "I would be my own god..." I see no difference, You deny fact, you deny understanding, you even deny your own understanding. You live a lie, hoping that if you live it so fervently it would miraculously become fact. You sir, are living the very thing you hope to have progressed, you are a slave to your own self-deceptive opinion. When you "wake up", come speak with me... dissapointment
I lost my religion when I discovered the Raelian Movement, a beautiful philosophy based on a scientific atheist spirituality... if you wish to learn more you can visit rael.org
@ErichReverB The Realian Movement - I had a look at the site. Unbelievable!? I thought it was a joke at first, but to my utter horror found it's not. This weirdo actually has followers who believe that we were made by aliens and that they revealed all this toi Mr. Rael during UFO visits??!! Well, it's no more or less believable than the Christian story, so heck, why not?
@theP3rSonhuRocks There is nothing more disgusting than the false superiority and arrogance that theists like you pour over anyone who dares comment that they don't believe. I've no doubt that he doesn't want you to feel sorry for him, I know I certainly don't, it's insulting.
@youareforeverlost Hypocrite, I can only imagine that aside from your Biblical attack sites, you prowl the internet in hopes for some hapless Christan to prey on. The true despicability, lies within your own words. It is only Christan to hope and search for people to lead to Christ, hate all you want, I will only pray for you. Besides, there is a constant hatred Growing against Christians. More and more attackers feel as though they can rampantly attack the Christian faith wi-
@theP3rSonhuRocks With no repercussion, That is where the true sickness lies. Do not take a Christian as a fool. If they see something wrong, they will not hid, but be open about their opinions, as you were in yours, don't surmise that if a Christian opposes you it is because they're wrong, think about the Bias of your own comment, hypocrites are among us all, I am no less.
@theP3rSonhuRocks You call me a hypocrite on this matter and then back up your accusation with absolutely nothing but "I bet you are". Can you see how weak your claim was? Oh and what's a "Biblical attack site"? I only have a vague idea of what you're getting at but again, why are you judging me without knowing a thing about me other than that I'm an atheist? How very Christian of you. Now I don't "prey" on Christians, I simply respond to factually inaccurate or...
@theP3rSonhuRocks condesending comments from people of all faiths, or none at all, I've tackled atheists and agnostics when needs be if I've taken particular exception to something they say. Now you think you're engaging in a noble activity by trying to "save" people but as far as I'm concerned, if I make someone at least question their beliefs then I've saved them from a life of servitude to an imaginary overlord, shockingly I'm not just some nasty guy trying to ruin your fun.
@youareforeverlost Yes i did call you a Hypocrite, and are you no better in your rebuttal? "I'm able to dish it out but can't take it," I've also tackled Atheists, Agnostics, and Pseudo-Christians of the like. I have no problem telling them when their wrong, but when people comment things like "The Bible is a bunch of stories", I have to intervene. These "Stories" are historically proven. I just wanted to show you, that your comment was idiotic and uncultured. and...
@theP3rSonhuRocks proves that bias, unintelligent opinions with little to no fact shouldn't be supplied as they show how much one lacks in the cognitive department. You may not be a nasty Guy, in all honesty i didn't think you were, i just needed to test the waters to see where you are in your understanding. you didn't exactly "fail", but you obviously haven't researched enough. maybe you could convince me otherwise, look forward to it, don't disappoint. (happens allot)
@theP3rSonhuRocks Oh my, you're actually trying to argue the historical accuracy of the Bible? Alright, clearly you're one of the loons, amusingly one who thinks the people around him are the ones being ridiculous, enjoy your delusions.
@youareforeverlost "Alright, clearly you're one of the loons..." who doesn't even know what accusations he is making. The Bible records have: Emperors during appropriate ages, Geographically correct placements of kingdoms (Used by archeologists), Lists proper terms during the ages the Bible was written, Government officials in ancient Greece, recordings are proven by outside sources [Talos, Flavius Josephus, Pliny the Younger, Cornelius Tacitus, ect] and Geological evidence
@theP3rSonhuRocks I'm curious what point you're trying to make? That some historical information in the Bible was accurate? Well unless it's prediciting it (and I mean a proper prediction, not an ambiguous or clear self-fulfilling one) or there's proof that something supernatural happened that doesn't mean anything. What needs proving are the apparently divine parts. You also can't just say geological evidence and then not actually provide anything specific.
@youareforeverlost You must be unfamiliar with Daniel 8. PREDICTED ca. 543 BC: Daniel tells of a great Grecian king who would conquer the Persian empire but would have his kingdom divided four ways after his death (Daniel 8).–FULFILLED in 330 BC when Alexander the Great defeats Persia and 281 BC after the Greek generals who succeed Alexander reach an agreement after years of war to split the kingdom four ways.
@theP3rSonhuRocks Predicted ca. 536 BC: Daniel prophesies that the Greek empire would not go to Alexander the Great’s heirs (Daniel 11).–Fulfilled ca. 323-281 BC after Alexander’s death when his generals fight over the kingdom while shutting out (and killing) his heirs.
@theP3rSonhuRocks Here's a good one: Predicted ca. 760 BC: Amos predicts Israel would be restored as a nation and would never be uprooted again (Amos 9:15)–Fulfilled in 1948.
@theP3rSonhuRocks Now, tell me, if you have the knowledge that defies the Bible as historical evidence, due provide some. Because, I, a Christian worship a God who knew these things long before the world was created, AND gave these things in their due time to people he knew wouldn't keep these prophecies to themselves. Notice how These Prophecies are in the Old Testament, and not in Revelation, the one that most unbelievers state is the only prophetic book in the Bible?
@theP3rSonhuRocks The only way you can know a prophecy came true is after it happens then it's easy to make what's written mean what you want. That's why Nostradamus followers are full of just as much crap as you.
@iamadeathgod666 You really don't like me, to the point of hatred I'd say. Did you bother to read the biblical texts or did you quickly rush to comment? Lets look at Israel. My Uncle can remember a time when Israel was so far from thought of becoming a nation than the end of his life. When Israel became a nation, there was so much opposition from Arab countries, it was thought that Israel would be destroyed the moment it reformed. Has Rome ever become a world power after itfell
@theP3rSonhuRocks Has the Aztec and Mayan civilization ever returned? No, Israel was conquered long before the fall of both. The prediction that Israel would return, the same place it left and be more prosperous than before, was so farfetched Most people drew a line at that prophecy. Sir you prove your ignorance and intolerance more and more.
@theP3rSonhuRocks It could also just as easily not occurred as it did. I also wouldn't call what Israel is now more successful than when they dominated the region. This also doesn't change the fact that it's easy to write stuff down, then have people call it prophecy hundreds of years later. When there is no time limit for the prophecy to occur it leaves the possibility for it to happen at any time, which is not telling the future, it is playing the odds.
@theP3rSonhuRocks Me dreaming about friends or family being pregnant, then finding out they are a few days or weeks later, now that is seeing the future. It has also happened several times, and with other subject matter.
That makes me a prophet according to you. According to me I'm just more in tune with life and death in my little piece of the universe, and I don't particularly enjoy it.
@theP3rSonhuRocks All those predictions are really weak, like the kind of vague crap modern "psychics" try and pass off as predicitions. Also, I note how you are neglecting to actually give the quotes, I can only assume that's because in their original wording they're even more ambiguous. I have knowledge that causes me to question quite carefully anything that claims the existence of the supernatural, and the Bible falls very short in believability in that domain.
@youareforeverlost Sorry, I didn't know you were only willing to attack my belief, I thought you were more tolerant than that (I also Gave you the passages), but nonetheless If you need me to quote it every-time, then I shall.
@theP3rSonhuRocks Well oddly enough I don't have Bibles lying around these days and I'm sure not going to go buy one just to look up some passages for predictions that will inevitably be disappointing. You said you'd quote them but then didn't, you really are proving my point quite amazingly. Oh and pipe down with the "wahh attacking my religion" nonsense, I'm just not accepting the shit you're serving me. If your or any religion is so perfect, it should withstand criticism.
@youareforeverlost Are you still babbling? I don't know why, then again you did say that Rome retreated into the Roman Catholic Church (Oh boy), and believes that you can foresee the future. Look, when your family is filled with a bunch of inbred hicks, there is most likely someone in your family who is pregnant. Now, when you compare your "foretelling" of what was to come: Did you have specific dates, astronomical happenings, Did you foretell which generation it would...
@iamadeathgod666 Confusing, I'm just following the conversation, Most people freak out if I don't address the question at hand, then it looks like I'm dancing around the question, so I'm careful to quote, and correct mistakes when needed. Sorry if you find it confusing, try following along with the conversation, most of my comments are continuing on my previous points.
@theP3rSonhuRocks happen to. Where it would happen, or at least What would be happening when the situation were to happen, (Which the Biblical Prophecies have).
Or is your dream but imaginative occurrences, which deal with familiar characters, and also deal with sexual and post sexual natural occurrences. Things that with the right educate guess, could build a subconscious opinion.
@theP3rSonhuRocks Right. My dreams are just psychological, but you have no trouble believing the Bible. That great infallible book with it's virgin birth, incest based origin of humanity, a talking burning bush, a talking snake, a boat that somehow holds not only millions of animals but also the stock for them for almost a year, people over 900 years old, silly miracles, and which never ever contradicts it's self.
Waitress! Check Please! I've had enough fruitcake.
@iamadeathgod666 You deny miracles but the evolutionary theory is based upon them, Incest origin of the earth also consists of the evolutionary theory, who else would you mate with? (not to mention, it was ban once birth defects began appearing), There is a scientific explanation for the 900 years as well, (by the way, with the 900 year old, you wouldn't need to write anything down, you could just ask grandpa). (forgive me, but I'm going to message myself, just so it'll flow)
@theP3rSonhuRocks In Genesis, there is mention of two firmaments of water, under and above the earth, The air pressure would have been great, and, if you know how pressure on oxygen works, means that the oxygen level was more pure and less toxins could latch onto the oxygen atom (Just to save time, I'll mention this later) What happens when you give a being pure oxygen for their entire life? Well, the body runs longer, and better. In fact people and animals, based on the...
@theP3rSonhuRocks Air pressure, and oxygen consumed, could in fact support a bigger structure, It is a scientific fact that if the atmosphere is perfect, longevity of life and large massed animals could be sustained. /watch?v=Aq4DK4W9xe4&feature=related, Now, if a person was Biblically and scientifically as tall that the atmosphere suggests, then when Cubits (the distance between ones elbow to tip of middle finger) are of a 9 foot human....
@theP3rSonhuRocks The ark, used by measurement of Cubits, would easily triple in size than our modern day scale of the biblical ark. Next, even with the modern day measurements it is possible that all the animals could fit on the ark. Based on the Hebrew cubit, the dimensions of the ark being 300 cubits long 59 cubits wide, the Hebrew cubit would have been 437.5 feet long with 72.92 feet wide, and 43.75 feet high. With three decks in the ark, it had 95, 747 square feet...
@theP3rSonhuRocks and total volume of 1, 395, 734 cubic feet. Its cubic tonage would be 13, 960. Based on even the Egyptian Cubit the ark would be 516.25 feet wide, its height would be 51.625 feet and width of 86.04 feet. in square footage it would be 1,332,545 square feet, and it's volume would be 22,930.
The ark was a barge, not a ship with sloping sides, so it had a much larger carrying capacity. It has been reckoned that, even with smaller measurements 18.5 inch...
@theP3rSonhuRocks cubit of later times, the ark would have been so huge that 522 modern railroad box cars could have fitted inside it. One of every species (or biblical Kind) today could comfortably be carried in only 150 boxcars. (not 1 of every sub species but Species in general). You say it couldn't be done?

Then, in the space of 2 years, My Mom and my Dad died, then my Wife left me and took my three precious children.

In your mind you created a God that is "the alpha and omega and not actually a being..", but if you ask other theists, they'll all have a different explanation. They made their ownGod
ebutouyym1 2 weeks ago
@ebutouyym1 I'm sorry, would you like me to slow down for you. I was hoping for actual intellectuals in this world, I was mistaken. None the less. "Alpha" Is the first letter in the Greek language. "Omega" is the end. He is both "the Beginning and the end". The Alpha and Omega.
If you ask any true Christian, they will define God as an Omnipotent (all powerful) being, who gave his son for his cursed creation. People reject him because they don't want to have an all powerful Judge.
theP3rSonhuRocks 2 weeks ago
@theP3rSonhuRocks I too am hoping for more intellectuals in the world. Those that can think their way out of religious absurdities. I know what alpha and omega are, what I fail to see is how Greek letters explain in anything like concrete terms what your God is. Can you explain your religious beliefs without relying on poetic obfuscation? And while you're at it, what is a "true" Christian? One from your particular faction, I assume?
ebutouyym1 2 weeks ago
@ebutouyym1 What foolish dreck. The Alpha and Omega is an image of the awesomeness of God. Leave it to a person without faith In a higher being. God doesn't need "Alpha and Omega" to exist? It was a means to speak to the Gentiles or Greeks. In essence you are asking me to prove God exists without the Bible. Yeah, you try explaining "Evolution" without Science.
I don't like religion, actually i Loathe it. Religion is man's interpretation of what Christ has said. There is nothing to..
theP3rSonhuRocks 2 weeks ago
@theP3rSonhuRocks ... Interpret, real Christians take God at his word. There are no "factions" unlike Evolution. True Christians look past what Man tries to put first, and understand what the Bible really says.

theP3rSonhuRocks 2 weeks ago
@theP3rSonhuRocks Of course there are factions in Christianity. How many different varieties can you think of - each with their own slant on the absurd. ebutouyym1 2 weeks ago

TheAusvideo 2 weeks ago
@TheAusvideo God isn't a Being. He is the alpha and Omega, beginning and the end, he is and always will be. A being, is suggested to have Been, or has been created. God wasn't "Created" he never had arisen from anything. He does exist. But he isn't a being.
theP3rSonhuRocks 2 weeks ago
@theP3rSonhuRocks A "being" is defined as something that "IS." Thus: to BE is to be a being. God describes himself as "I AM." If God is eternal, then he is the ultimate being. Actually, in that case, God is the only true being, and everything else in space-time is just a temporal projection of his mind.
cosmosmonger 2 weeks ago
@cosmosmonger Then everything that there is to "Be", be it Energy, matter, elements, are all beings. God says "I Am" in the sense that he is all there is to "be". However a being, he is not. As i said before, everything has origins, but God doesn't. God "IS" he isn't something to "BE". His status isn't something to obtain, but that he IS, God not BECAME God. Sorry if i didn't make sense of this before, Feel free to ask for any more clarification. It is quite difficult to put into words, you know?
theP3rSonhuRocks 2 weeks ago
@theP3rSonhuRocks So, if god is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and end, then he is everything, correct?
ayasenev 2 weeks ago
@ayasenev No, he Is God, not some Gnostic being that can be reached any way man feels fit. You don't pray to everything, you pray to God.
Being the Beginning and the End, entails that he simply is and always will be. Words cannot define him, nor come close.
theP3rSonhuRocks 2 weeks ago
@theP3rSonhuRocks But, praying is a way of reaching God, is it not?
ayasenev 2 weeks ago
@ayasenev praying is a means of reaching God, not his creation. You know if your attempting to lead me into something like "God is Nature" or something hippie like that, do give up. Romans 1: 25: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. ayasenev 2 weeks ago

@theP3rSonhuRocks I have only this question for you. It is not against you; this is simply a question that will help me better understand you. We've agreed that God is not a being. ayasenev 1 week ago
I just want to share some thoughts on the subject with someone who has an open-mind like yourself.
ayasenev 1 week ago
@ayasenev My apologies, Sometimes I place people understereotypes, (I am to Blame), based upon what is said. Keep in mind, I deal with allot of scrutiny for my studies. I attempt to go against what is publicly considered "fact" however using science i prove Creation, and people loathe me for it. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, My hostility was the latter, I apologize, but at least we have found some common ground... I digress,
theP3rSonhuRocks 1 week ago
@theP3rSonhuRocks So think of God in this way, Man has many features not found in animal. Man has a heightened conscious ability, man has a heightened understanding and rationalization. Man also has the ability to Hypothesize and draw conclusions in complex factions. Man is not so unintelligent to understand where they have gone wrong. Animals have a certain irrationality that distincts Them from man.
theP3rSonhuRocks 1 week ago
@theP3rSonhuRocks Now, God is separated into three sections. God the Father (creator and Judge), God the Son (Jesus), and god the Holy Spirit (A heightened conscience that is on earth today). Now, it is noticed that God (father) the Creator and judge is the one who oversees all. He is in a form. We know this because he has created man in his image, and the fact that he walked in the garden with Adam and Eve, and Moses saw his Back. ,,,,
theP3rSonhuRocks 1 week ago
@theP3rSonhuRocks Now, what is always miscommunication is the fact that Man is made in God's Image. Read this over carefully. Man is made in GOD'S Image not the other way around. In Roman's 1 vs 25 "who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen". Man has made God seem like Creature, over being an omnipotent God who is "blessed for ever" or eternal. He has a form but his is not mans.

@theP3rSonhuRocks If only people gave this a little bit more thought...Religion, over the years, seems to warp the original philosophies that created it.
ayasenev 1 week ago
@ayasenev Exactly right. People look at Christendom the religion, (corrupt) yet overlook the facts.
theP3rSonhuRocks 1 week ago

You've researched the topic and are able to support your statements, so for this, I respect you.
ayasenev 1 week ago
@ayasenev As I do you, You seem to have a sound mind and understanding. I wish there were many more of you, as people I've debated with are so set in their opinions that they would be willing to overlook fact. If you really look at it, evolutionists believe that Christians are no longer logical people. They talk down to them, They (some) blatantly disregard Christian theology, And, most of all, they pretend that Creation Christians know nothing of Science. Look at how Creationists...
theP3rSonhuRocks 1 week ago
@theP3rSonhuRocks Are treated within the scientific community. Their opinions are shunned without as much as a glance over what they have to offer. Today, if a weighing of facts were to come to front, it would most likely found that Creation has the most collection of actual scientific facts. Riddle me this: What has Evolutionary Science ever contributed to actual science? (This question goes out to everyone who believes in Evolution as actual "Fact" as well)
theP3rSonhuRocks 1 week ago
@theP3rSonhuRocks Quite a bit, actually. By knowing that animals have adapted over the millenia, millions year old fossils that were once seen as supernatural were realized as nothing more than ancient animals. These animals no longer roam the Earth. Their fossils are all that remain. Evolution links the in-between of ancient and modern animals.
ayasenev 1 week ago
@ayasenev If Creationists do not wish to be shunned in the scientific community, they must scientifically review Genesis, which, in this case, is a paper on how the world was created. By review, I mean, multiple experiments must be run on the statements made in Genesis. For instance, an experiment must be made on the possibility of all the oceans being created within a day. I'm talking computer simulations, samples, peer-review, numerical data, scale models. The works.

ayasenev 2 weeks ago

Therefore YOU ARE religion and presumably you loathe yourself?
ebutouyym1 2 weeks ago
@ebutouyym1 I pray to God. I don't interpret what God has said, I take what he said as truth. When truth is supplied, is there need for clarification? Religion is the "man made" definition of what God is and why he does it, and if he wants people to do more than what is said within the Bible. Man intentionally seek ways to do more for God, be it destroying Religious opposition, or even going from door to door, telling people their wrong, and they should convert. That is religion....
theP3rSonhuRocks 2 weeks ago
@theP3rSonhuRocks Evolution is a religion, it is the attempt to abolish God from the equation and replacing him with time and theories. Theories that everyone (with intelligence) accepts as a feeble attempt to replace God.
theP3rSonhuRocks 2 weeks ago

When you wake up from your dream, tell me..
theP3rSonhuRocks 2 weeks ago

@youareforeverlost "Alright, clearly you're one of the loons..." who doesn't even know what accusations he is making. theP3rSonhuRocks 1 week ago

When Israel became a nation, there was so much opposition from Arab countries, it was thought that Israel would be destroyed the moment it reformed. Has Rome ever become a world power after itfell
theP3rSonhuRocks 1 week ago
@theP3rSonhuRocks Has the Aztec and Mayan civilization ever returned? No, Israel was conquered long before the fall of both. The prediction that Israel would return, the same place it left and be more prosperous than before, was so farfetched Most people drew a line at that prophecy. Sir you prove your ignorance and intolerance more and more.
theP3rSonhuRocks 1 week ago
@theP3rSonhuRocks It could also just as easily not occurred as it did. I also wouldn't call what Israel is now more successful than when they dominated the region. This also doesn't change the fact that it's easy to write stuff down, then have people call it prophecy hundreds of years later. When there is no time limit for the prophecy to occur it leaves the possibility for it to happen at any time, which is not telling the future, it is playing the odds.
iamadeathgod666 1 week ago
@theP3rSonhuRocks Me dreaming about friends or family being pregnant, then finding out they are a few days or weeks later, now that is seeing the future. It has also happened several times, and with other subject matter.
That makes me a prophet according to you. According to me I'm just more in tune with life and death in my little piece of the universe, and I don't particularly enjoy it.

iamadeathgod666 1 week ago
@theP3rSonhuRocks All those predictions are really weak, like the kind of vague crap modern "psychics" try and pass off as predicitions. Also, I note how you are neglecting to actually give the quotes, I can only assume that's because in their original wording they're even more ambiguous. I have knowledge that causes me to question quite carefully anything that claims the existence of the supernatural, and the Bible falls very short in believability in that domain.
youareforeverlost 1 week ago
@youareforeverlost Sorry, I didn't know you were only willing to attack my belief, I thought you were more tolerant than that (I also Gave you the passages), but nonetheless If you need me to quote it every-time, then I shall.

@theP3rSonhuRocks Well oddly enough I don't have Bibles lying around these days and I'm sure not going to go buy one just to look up some passages for predictions that will inevitably be disappointing. Oh and pipe down with the "wahh attacking my religion" nonsense, I'm just not accepting the shit you're serving me. If your or any religion is so perfect, it should withstand criticism.
