I would (kind of) be okay with the actual ending if the climax was an actual climax. She builds up the tension for 200 pages for an awesome, epic Lord of the Rings-like fight where people will die with carnage and battles and what not. But no- "Oh, it's just a misunderstanding. We are going to leave now." The End.

SMeyer puts in too much information where you dont need it, and not enough where you need it the most. when the voltori, or however you spell the weird names, comes, all they pretty much do is talk for 3 hours, scare the crap out of everyone, Alice comes back with some dude, they talk and scare for an extra 45 minutes, then the volteri go back home. then bella goes back to her perfect disneychannel life.
Stephenie broke all the rules she had set for the vampire world, and it resulted in a HUGE gaping plot hole. And, where was the effing plot?! There was like no point to the story. Bella and 94% of the other characters are complete Mary-sues too. The only sort of realistic character is Jacob, and that was before the whole werewolf thing. I hated the book, it was horrible.
I have to say I like the book it kept me reading with interest and it was ejoyable, but I agree with you that the end could be a lot better you know a fight with the Voulturi or something like that whitout killing any of the important characters...something I dont' agree with is that I do think the series work out together because let's not forget that Bella it's been comfortable with the vampires all along she's never been afraid or even freak out she is just ok with everything supernatural...

This book was a rip-off. In the last chapters of the book, the Volturi come, 100 pages of discussion and they leave. No fight, no (real) deaths. The suspense was for nothing. And then they sex happily ever after yet again. Yeah, Breaking Dawn. The only thing it has broken is thousands of dedicated fans' souls. Thanks Meyer.

Just because the fans love something doesn't mean it's a good novel. Die-hards are often on the other side of the fence from those who view a particular nugget of pop culture from a distance. Yes, it is nice to have loyalty but please a poorly written book is still a poorly written book no matter who writes it. I have to say I like the book it kept me reading with interest and it was ejoyable, but I agree with you that the end could be a lot better you know a fight with the Voulturi or something like that whitout killing any of the important characters...something I dont' agree with is that I do think the series work out together because let's not forget that Bella it's been comfortable with the vampires all along she's never been afraid or even freak out she is just ok with everything supernatural...

This book was a rip-off. In the last chapters of the book, the Volturi come, 100 pages of discussion and they leave. No fight, no (real) deaths. The suspense was for nothing. And then they sex happily ever after yet again. Yeah, Breaking Dawn. The only thing it has broken is thousands of dedicated fans' souls. Thanks Meyer.

the book wasnt dumb at all. it just isnt what people were expecting and everyone was shocked. they had sex, but we dont understand how this could happen with a cvampire and a human/ no one understands how edward got bella pregnant, but oh well we all got over that.

You think stephenie meyer doesnt know what foreshadowing means? she has a bigger vocabulary than you. all you can say is "dumb" over and over again. Bella actually may die someday so she isnt the dumbass you are. I laughed the whole time..byut you did make some good points, in my opinion the book wasn't good at all it made me frustrated to a point where i just stopped reading it for a couple of days. But you know i finished and i couldn't believe it. It was just so...cliche!
Everyone had a happy ending even Jacob and not that i don't like him its just...damn idk i just expected more out of the book...

I'm not a big fan of it either. I thought Meyer was lacking in imagination and the stories are very predictable. Stephenie can take this helpful critisism and improve on it.

She was going to write forever dawn. She said that if she did that, new moon, and eclispe would never had happened. And edward would never had left and jacob would never have been in love with Bella. I'm confused because why would you write two books about something then say in the next book none of it had happened? I mean i'm confused? Did she think about Forever dawn before she ever wrote new moon, and eclispe? And why didn't Edward read her mind more!!!

Just because the fans love something doesn't mean it's a good novel. Die-hards are often on the other side of the fence from those who view a particular nugget of pop culture from a distance. Yes, it is nice to have loyalty but please a poorly written book is still a poorly written book no matter who writes it. Lastly, I find it really sad that there are so many people which read and praise her books just because it is Stephenie Meyer.

It is a very fair opinion on the book, though goodness knows why you read them if they tick you off so much? And I think, like most viewers, I would have appreciated your video if you had been a little more articulate with your speech. I didn't count how many times you used the word "dumb" or "stupid" for fear of becoming severely depressed. Nonetheless, I see you have taste and certainty in what you look for in a good book.

Ok Ok . . . Whooo. I could not stop laughing at your reaction, it was hilarious. I understand what you mean completely, but i still really love Breaking Dawn. To me its was good, but i hated the fact there was no fight. It seemed like the entire series was leading up to a fight, that never happened. But i hope now you understand how Bella got pregnant, because Stpehenie explains it.
