#6 - If it's a crate of gunpowder, explosives and bullets, then blowing it up will seriously create that effect in real life. Those flying yellow lines are bullets as they heat up and ignite. But perhaps shooting bullets into the crate would explode anything.

There are some (ok, a lot of) things that doesn't make sense, but i guess they made it that way to be simpler and entertaining or challenging (example: why sould you look for a key to unlock a door). Also I think the last one was ok because they aren't your friends, they just helped you to make their job easier (mercenaries).

IN order to let enemies fall out of a car, when they are in a car and die, they stop being solid to cars. Dead enemies in most games are only solid to the scenery (thats why you can walk through them)

All of these are merely abstractions to make the game have more immersion (excepting the death of animals, the plot twist and the hard to kill enemies, I suppose). Its certainly more fun than just having a ethereal map that hovers in the corner of your vision or a health pack you just pick up and feel better suddenly because its now in your possession.

Not realistic, certainly, but if your going to complain about it you might as well do the same for Halo or any other game as its all abstraction
