What causes war – religious, political or economic? Obviously belief, either in nationalism, in an ideology, or in a particular dogma. If we had no belief but goodwill, love and consideration between us, then there would be no wars. But we are fed on beliefs, ideas and dogmas and therefore we breed discontent.

But I do take issue with the video: none of the historical figures could could consent to endorsing the Tea Party, Lux Aeterna (the song) is copyrighted, and the presentation called forth powerful emotions (talent on the compiler's part) instead of bringing forth relevant information about the Tea Party itself. Obama has quadrupled the debt in 2 years in office. That's 4 times as much as Bush spent in 8 years, Obama spent in 2 years. Giving handouts to people on a continous basis doesn't "hekp" them. It actaully ruins them for life.

Iraq War saw the utter defeat of a dictator and the installment of democracy.
Afghanistan saw the ousting of the Taliban regime which then gave women some form of freedom in that country.
As for Bush. At least he was a proud American who actually saluted the flag when the national anthem was being played.

I have respect for Glenn Beck in the sense that I agree with what he says until he starts to elevate himself to the likes of Jesus, Ghandi, and Martin Luther King Jr.
It is then I lose all respect for him, because all those great men exhibited something Beck lost along the way, humility. Those men let others elevate them into the status of greatness.

I find it interesting the $7 Trillion debt being referenced is now at $17.8 Trillion and no one seams to care. This in the course of a year and a half. Doesn't anybody seem to get it.
