What I want to know is what organ that last console shown belongs to. If the organ itself sounds as promising and sexy as it's console would suggest, it MUST be a winner.

@giwro yes, it is the Marienkirche in Luebeck. Kemper organ, built in 1968 with 110 stops! It is crazy high up in the rear of the church

Est-ce cette version est vraiment de Guillou?Parce que c'est bourré d'accros, la stabilité du tempo est... inexistante! Ça ralentit quand c'est difficile, et ça accélère quand c'est plus facile! Dès que la main droite joue de façon octavée, le petit doigt fait n'importe quoi... Oh la la!!! J'ai entendu Latry jouer ça en concert... par cœur et sans asssistant! C'était incomparablement mieux!

I'm pleased to see that Guillou isn't a copier like so many others that claim to be "composers". This is one of the few truly original works that have been seen in recent times.

Many thanks for posting this video! Needless to say, this is an impeccable performance! I love looking at the instruments from around the world! When I was young, I was given a book by a senior organist that had photos of the largest instruments from around the world. I don;t know what has become of that book. It would be great if you could edit this video to contain the names of the organs that we are viewing. Just a thought. Thanks.
