Im looking forward to this game, been playing Kung-fu-master to level 10 on atomix private server. Must say it was alot of fun, shame though the server is not yet completely synched with the game and therefore offers only basic skills and unavailable skill trees. Im looking forward to play KFM as i find it the most interesting class. With the blocking and counterattacking skills. It reminds me alot of Royal Guard in Devil May Cry 3/4. Would be cool to get to know some koreans or asians.

Blade & Soul KR CBT3 is coming soon. Schedule: Q1 2012. This isn't a rumor, it was officially announced by NCsoft's CFO Jae ho Lee (CEO of NCsoft West) at GSTAR 2011 - NCsoft Premere Day. Moreover, OBT will be proceeded in Q1 2012 too. "OBT time won't be delayed by CBT Progress" - he said. Then more 2 or 3 weeks, the game will be commercialized.

After CBT1, they said that they will run CBT2 in August and you know, it came true. Now I think I will believe what they said about CBT3 & OBT.

Judging by that, probably will hit US about 2-3 months after. Korean companies have a habit of using Koreans as guinea pigs and fix whatever problem occurs and shipping out to other countries. This is out-door MMORPG like Aion, WoW,..v...v...Not in-door like Vindictus, C9, Dragon Nest and it uses non-target control system like TERA, Dragon Nest with auto-target system like Devil May Cry and you can change your control mode to point & click like Aion, WoW, etc.

Go searching another PvP, RvR, boss raid, dungeon raid videos if u wanna know about this game.

@0902885565 Aye bro, About the targeting system. I noticed there is also a sticky targeting mechanic like WoW, but there is also the non-sticky targeting like Dragon Nest. When range classes cast spells, for example, is it possible to make them miss by moving? Or do they follow you?

@intoccabile Yup, u can dodge them or move out of range of the skills. But not much, u can dodge some of them like (Frozen Dragon, Fury Dragon of Force Master or Charge / Dash of Blade Master) but some skills u can't becos' they are too fast or auto-attack target like Flying Sword of Blade Master or Shuriken of Assassin. Not like Aion but like another W-RPG (WoW, Rift), in Blade & Soul, u need to direct ur attack (F2F) if u wanna deal dmg on enemies, more reason: becos' this is an Action MMORPG.

@Theblahblahblahdude Outdoor means free-roam. Combat capable in or out of a dungeon, and you travel through an open world. Closed door is combat capable only in a dungeon (i.e: Vindictus, Dragon Nest, S4 Legue, Gunz the Duel). The only real gameplay in closed door is when you're in a dungeon; very limited, but sometimes gives more dynamic gameplay due to more effort put into combat rather than the world itself. However, Blade and Soul seems to offer a satisfying amount of both.

But as I said, it only effects with non-target skills or ranged-skill and it's still hard becos' when u reach high level, the combat in this game is very fast, hard to have enough time to run away, attack enemy is better. And almost time u can use parry / block, it's always better becos' u can deal some counterstrike.

@daskriege PvP in BnS is 50% free. Becos' u can choose 2 ways: use Non-PvP suit or PvP suit. There're many types of suits, but with PvP suits, they split up to 3 clans (as I know in CBT2). So if u wear suit A or B of clan X, u will see all players with red name if they wear suit C or E from clan Y or Z. So...Let's war with them. Players can get suits of every clan. Use Non-PvP suits, u are safe.

There's no punishment in PvP. And u can earn PvP points (PvP Rank too) to exchange some gears.

@SparkZ009 There're 2 things I really don't know about Blade & Soul until I played it in CBT2: Dual-control mode (Non-target with auto target system & Point n Click system) and flexible chain-skill system (like Aion but It's very smart and much better than Aion - I really like this).

Becos' they set an auto-target system, then it's easy to make point & click system for previous-type gamers (like Lineage 2). If u don't like non-target system, u can switch to point&click. Very convenient.
