You can limit startup items and background services through Reginout as well :)

please help. i have tried this during safe mode in oreder to turn on sound but when i restart it it does not work . what should i do to get sound during safe mode using this technique?

@clubpenguinchowder you just can't. Safe Mode doesn't load "sound" drivers.

Why are you trying to get sound in Safe Mode anyways?
