  • Dude thanks! I totally needed to learn how to do that thanks!!!,!

  • What brand of cube do you use? I have a proper Rubik's cube but it always seems to stick. All my cubelets need to be exactly aligned for a side to turn or it gets stuck but yours seem to slide nicely.

  • What kind of cube is that?

  • Thank you SO MUCH!! But I have one question. How would you do F and B?

  • this helped a lot

    love the explanations

    really nice

  • the U2 thing is hard. any tips?

  • @HumorOfTW0 just practice doing it slowly. I found it annoying at the beginning and at some point it simply went automatic :P

  • @6cfs Use your thumbs.

  • can you please solve my Rubik cube

  • Great video but you forgot triggers, and try and teach them more about conservation of movement, hope I help.

  • where do u get your cube from??

  • I can tell you didn't lubricate your cubes :L I'm guessing you unscrewed the screw that's in side of the centre pieces LOL. and yeah faahh how many step algorithms you do cos the one I solve my cube withis the 7 step one. post it on YouTube sometime or something :L

  • That little exercise you do at 1.57 ... you should have done that slower so we can see what youre doing so that we can practice it.

  • SKILL!!

  • you need to lubricate your cube

  • more mistakes then my liking..should have re-done it a few times till it looked good, but your video did accomplish it's objective, this is coming from a 38 second cuber...not to fast, but then again....i have a life :)

  • @SubZeroBelow

Was it really necessary to add on "but then again....i have a life :)" ?

Cubing has nothing to do with having a life..

  • your cube sucks

  • good video

  • wow! i really love ur videos... they r awesome and easy to understand, most of all helpful... thanks ;)

  • the things you wre going at 2:20 are called triggers. longer triggers are called algorithms

  • just so you know, you can also hit the D layer with your ring finger then hit it with your pinky or middle finger to make fast D2's. its hard to master (well atleast if your using a Rubiks brand cube like mine) but it works great

  • wat kind of cube do u have?

  • @THEBOMBERMAN2222 He has those DIY Speedcubes.

  • uh... dude do you have a disco ball on the ceiling? because i see lights of color red changing to orange and repeated so forth...

  • lol no, its just the bad camera i'm using sorry about that.

  • no it's ok... at least your explanation in the movie is good... you've done good in your movie...

  • @plurple73 but its so colorful :) nice video no one will notice when i turn a side

  • jigaloo is better

  • what do you calll those things 202 - 211

  • @skittlezpwn43 if you dont have silicone spray you can use petrolium jelly or vaseline

  • how you get ur cube so loose? mines too hard to turn for finger tricks

  • you have to lubricate it

  • BAD

  • This was pretty damn awesome

    well explained too

    5+

  • haha thanks :P

  • @plurple73 your video is to-the-point and i like to-the-point videos... i hate videos with bla bla bla sleepy-making talking and videos that would never get things done... your video is nice btw... thank you...

  • Thanks for the nice comment!

  • can you put some algarithims

  • no algs... it's just like you push the cube aside with your finger in the R move... for instance... no algs man...

  • Thank you! that helped me.

  • Awesome video! Can you please make a video on how to do the fredric method using the green cross and do it super super super slow!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! :D

  • ahhhhhhhhh that kind of suckes balls

  • wtf o.o

  • ure cube looks so cool

  • where did u get that cube?

  • umm...lol...4 thumbs down in a row...nioce vid

  • Aaah, F2L ;)

  • were did you get the white cube it looks fast and quiet

  • he got it from ebay

  • looks like cube4yous speed model >.>

  • Lol, what is wrong with that cube??

  • i just got my white cube and was practicing a little, some parts helped me out :) thank you

  • hey was website did u learn your PLL from?? cuz im looking to get into it.. but its kind of hard to pick up.. any useful websites??

  • I learned from cubewhiz(dot)com

  • i think they are called triggers

  • That is lame!!!

  • spam ulare2u...

  • You have much to learn my young Padawan. At least this vid is made at sep 2008, hope you are faster now. 27 seconds average out of 10 for me xD.

I quit playing it though... but Erik Akkersdijk is still world champion (my friend in Holland)

  • 2:00 Algorithms? and yes you can move pretty damn fast, but not everyone has a white cubeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

    still pretty fast tho...

  • I call them repeatable algorithms. Algorithms that can be repeated a number of times and returns the cube to the same position as when you started.

    Ex.

    R' D' R D

    U' L' U L

  • You can repeat any algorithm a number of times and it will still come to the solved position.

  • Hey Can you show the way the cube solves its self in slower motion

  • Ummm .. you forgot something .... how about THE FRONT FACE!!! lol

  • Which method did you use for PLL? 2 Look? Full PLL? O:

  • full pll

  • Dang! That's awesome. xD

  • mu cube is slow im getting a good off ebay though

  • i do that thing that u said to do all the time i just figured it out 1 day and im like oo this is cool so i kept doing it but my right hand isnt coordinated as well as my left hand so i cant do some finger tricks :( and i have very slow times

  • Just keep practicing, you'll get it eventaully.

  • they are called algorithims

  • u retard the movements are algorithms the tricks are finger tricks

  • oh nm

  • how about the middle layer

  • can u plz do a rubiks cube pattern video

  • Lol that second cube was suckish... How'd you lube them up?

  • my new record is 1 min 22 sec without F2L.....but f2l to much to remember.......

  • *mourning* He will never be a speed cuber *crying/shouting*

    P.S.

There's something called intuitive F2L where you just figure everything out yourself. Don't go by the 40 algorithms.

  • sad

  • i am beginner but my record is 2 min 52 secong it very slow.....can help me what i need to improve

  • You should learn the fridrich method.

  • lol

  • what thing we need to put in the cube to make it easy to move???????please answer me...TQ

  • I put CRC heavy Duty Silicone spray in mine. You can get it at any hardware store.

  • wow so fast

  • is 1 miniute preety good for the biggener method?

  • yeah, I suggest you start learning Fridrich.

  • i was getting 55 seconds at best with beginner and i jsut learned fridrich, how long do think it will take to improve from old times?

  • probabley not to long, if you keep practicing.

  • ur thinking of algorithms at 2:00

  • when you solved your first 2 layers using the F2L method what method was used after you have solved the F2L?.

can you make a vid out of it?

  • that would be OLL and PLL, thats [art of the Fridrich method, I do have tut on it already.

  • ty so much :) people always do the fast trick thingy, never knew what it was, u showed it in slow-mo, its :

R, U, R', U', R, U, etc? its like that right?? well good way to practice, ty :) after i learned this good, Fridrich method is after :), but without finger tricks and with normal method i still got 35 seconds :)

  • yep.

  • could you please tell me how to do F and B

  • You can use index finger for F and ring finger for B. that's what I do

  • how did you solve the first two layers at the same time? i finally got my time down to a bit over a minute without the finger tricks but it takes me so long to do the first two lyers...i noticed you did two at the same time. can u post a video with the algorithms and how you solve it. thanks

    -jonny

  • Its called F2L, and it just so happens that I have a tut on that titled How to do the jessica fridrich method Part1.

  • i request you to do a vid where u get all the cubes from?

  • ok, ill probably have it up sometime this week.

  • Every vid ive seen about finger tricks or using the f2l jessica fridrcih method everyone has a cubesmith cube...where did u get it?

  • cubesmith doesn't make cubes, they make stickers lol

  • and spare pieces

  • this is the most boring video i have ever come across zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • wow no one cares.

  • where can i buy a 3x3 or a eastsheen 5x5

  • wal-mart or ebay

  • i even cant solve a 3x3x3 and im smart :P . but i sux at stuff like that :P . but mine pops alot (Rubiks).

  • i request you to do a video about how to solve a eastsheen 5x5

  • I already did one!

  • coooooooooooooool

  • dude you are awsome!

  • What algorithm is that at 4:03? Message me please instead of replying at comments

  • but how do you do F and F' ?

  • Or B and B' for that matter?

  • what algo. did u use to solve that cube ???

  • how do u do the part @ 2:00

  • how long did it take u to master the cube??

  • you can never master the cube.

  • alot of them come naturally as you practice the algorithms....

and MY GAWD is that a sticky cube at the end... you need to sand/lube that one :P (not that you didnt already know that )

  • did u just say lube o.0

  • Can you post a 3 by 3 lubrication video

  • I would, but there are so many other videos that show how to do it.

  • thx thx thx thx 5/5

  • welcome

  • do u know a site where they show finnger exersises the ones you talked about between 2:00and2:30

  • nope, sorry

  • what model ? A third`?

  • nice cube

  • thanks

  • that was awsome i have 1 and i did'nt know how to do it then i saw ths vid then i did it so that was awsome

  • What kind of rubix cube is that?

  • The wight one is a DIY from cubefan shop on ebay, and the black one is just a storebought.

  • what kind of cube were u using??

  • the white one was a rubik's white diy, got it on ebay. The black one was a storebought.

  • great tips. really. i worked on R U Ri Ui last night and i found a way not to stop in between repetitions. i just placed my right middle finger on the top right edge. hurts the wrist though, but still, no pain no gain. tnx.

  • be careful, you might get rubik's wrist,:O

  • whoa. for a second there i thought you were sean. are u like, brothers or somethin'?

  • nope, i have 2 accounts, i really don't no why tho, maybe if mine gets hacked i have anither ine.

  • what do u mean... rubik's wrist. is that like a snap sendrum or something?

  • i don't know that much about it, but alli know is that if you do the rubik's cube alot, you can get it.

  • how to do the back section

  • i hold the cube like a burger and do the B side as if it's D --- using my ring fingers.

  • so, u u twist the up side before working on oll to avoi readjusting the cube - to position the front side of the pattern. ill try to keep that in mind. btw, i solve anti sune like that.

  • oh, sorry. that's feyt...aliciouz

tnx for the vid. i didnt thought of the idea on how to execute U2 like that. very simple, but vet very much helpful. and i'll work on repetitive short algorithms... i know i need that. tnx. 5/5

  • ur welcome, if you have any more request, feel free to ask.

  • well, one is if you're plaaning to delete this video later, please dont. i cant load the last part so i was not able to watch it yet.

  • darn. sorry again, that's "planning". lol.

  • don;t worry, i wasnt planning on it.

  • it's feyt...alciciouz

but tnx. it sounded nice with how u said it.

  • ok.

  • can u make a vid on the plls u use?

  • i allready did, it's fridrich tutorial part 3
