  • annoyed that they got rid of this track the year I started watching f1 (yeah, another 09' Button bandwagoner)

  • Thank god this track is gone

  • @MegaMrDamo fo

  • I like his aggressive driving style

  • F1 needs to bring back circuits like this. High speed turns are the most impressive in F1, the two chicanes here are amazing, along with Eau Rouge, Copse, Maggots, Becketts, the Variante Ascari, 130R, Tabac, the Swimming Pool Complex in Monaco, Hockenheim turn 1, and uh............

  • Abbiamo bisogno di un commentatore così anche in Italia!

  • this car has one of the bst f1 engines ever

  • Probably one of his best pole positions. 3 tenths quicker than Schumi with more fuel in an inferior car.

  • Mangy Cours needs to come back to the F1 grid. Very quick track, one of my favorites.

  • f1 = v10

    f2= v8

  • so much understeer

  • @harryizable alonso is one of those drivers that loves understeering cars

  • @creatyve definately the best driving style to watch, like at 0.09 in this going into turn 3. beautiful understeer!

  • @creatyve

He's actually just more adaptable than most. You can look at his driving style in the later Renaults,in the McLaren and in the current Ferraris. They're nothing like this. The Ferrari might look like it but that's because they've chosen a very slow steering ratio to allow for more precise control of the steering angle and slip of the front tires. Alonso simply drove the championship Renaults the way they were designed to be driven. He does the same for any other car.

  • @PulletSurprise I was going to say, in the Renault he had much more steering lock available than he does in the Ferrari.

  • Yepyepyepyep. In the Renault he was chucking on all of the steering wheel angle, and thus, all of the lock in high and medium speed corners. 18-22 degrees of steering angle for the front wheels, effectively scrubbing the front tires against the tarmac well beyond their effective slip angles. In the Ferraris he's using a normal amount of steering angle but he's getting that by using a somewhat abnormal amount of steering wheel angle because of how slow the steering ratio is.

  • The 2002-2006 Renaults were some of the most interesting F1 cars ever designed. Their suspension geometry, weight distribution, aero development and engine positioning was pretty freaking neato.

  • RIP V10

  • the V10 cars sound incredible! this is a sweet track, too.

  • This was Schumachers last good year, after 2004 Alonso owned him.

  • alonso F1-champ 2010

  • Error!! Michael is back!!!!!!

  • bestial hands

  • bestial engine

  • Martin Brundle is awesome. We need his commentary stateside.

  • @traydamus check out filmon.com , gives access to british channels, including BBC for F1, for 10 euro a month

  • Alonso the best.

  • this was a great pole for alonso. he beat schumacher on this one. in the race though ferrari put down a 4 stop strategy to beat alonso, amazing stuff!

  • i still dont know how Ferrari did that.

  • I think that the really strategy are for 3 stop to schumacher, and viewing that he beats alonso, he makes another stop to "humillates" fernando. XD sorry 4 my english lol
